My daughter wanted to order here tonight and I said we would try them out. What a major disappointment. We asked how much a large 1 topping pizza was. They said $15.00. We placed the order and was told it would be 15 min. After 40 minutes we got our food. They handed me the box and I told them we ordered a large pizza not a medium??? They said that was their "large pizza". So basically we got ripped off. Just for reference, order a medium pizza down the road at Master Pizza. Their medium is Teresa's large. If shrinkflation was in the dictionary Teresa's would be pictured. When we got home the pizza was very hard to eat as there was 2 inches of cheese. The sauce was a little too salty. We will not be coming back again. I'd hate to say it but Georgio's pizza is way better and they actually have a large pizza for a much better value. read more

Great pizza, great service. Owner was there himself alongside his staff. Was in town for baseball World Series, had to try local pizza. Saw some snarky, petty reviews with Owner responses, knew this was my place. Congrats to this wonderful small business. Undergoing some renovations also, but the money is in the freshly made dough, ingredients, and courteous staff! Keep it up, Mayfield Theresa's. Got some take out wings. Nice size and plenty of meat. Mild had good flavor with minimal heat. Garlic Parmesan wings were very good. The balance of oily sauce with grated cheese is perfect. Nice to see them upgrade out of styrofoam containers and flimsy napkins. read more

I have lived in the Heights and Chagrin Valley for 35 years, and have been to about every restaurant on Mayfield at some point, but somehow had never been to Teresa's Pizza. That changed tonight! My mother in law wanted pizza for Mother's Day, so we grabbed one extra large cheese and one extra large pepperoni pie from Teresa's. I'll be honest- this isn't my favorite type of pizza, but stars shouldn't be about my preference, they should be about quality and service. The service was friendly and fast, and the pizza was high quality and was LOADED with cheese. So much cheese! So if you love a lot of cheese on your pizza, this is your place! I moved away almost a decade ago and n a recent trip back I couldn't wait to have an old school Teresa's pizza. So I ordered 3 of the largest triangle cut pizza they offer To my surprise, the recipes changed, I believe the owners changed but kept the name and its now basically Angela Mia's? my son who eats almost anything thought the pizza was awful. He almost ate a whole piece and had to throw the rest of the pizza away. Making good pizza, with quality ingredients is not rocket science but Teresa's failed in that task. We have ordered here 3 or 4 times and they have never gotten the order right. Phone manners are terrible and employees are rude when we tell them the order is wrong. I grew up around the corner from the original Teresa's in Maple Heights many, many (many) years ago. They were my go-to pizza and I still have a fondness for their version. The way the cheese is stacked, the way the sausage is cut and something about the tomato sauce still reminds me of my youth. My personal bias still has me favor their pie. read more

Unwilling to refund. I understand we are in Covid times, but know your staff capabilities. It took our order 2 hours to arrive when we were quoted 1 hour. They said 3 times over the phone that it would stay hot in the insulating bag and to call if it was cold. Arrived cold after I asked the delivery person if it was hot. After finding out when I opened it up, I called and asked for a refund. They would not offer one. Only a credit for another pizza from them, or they would remake it in another two hours. I think Teresa's is a love/hate pizza joint. You either love it, like Rachel B. or you hate it like Kerensa B. Well I'm here to settle the tie. I absolutely love it! When it's pizza night at the house and I'm short on time or inspiration, Teresa's Pizza is my #1 go to local joint for take out. All I ever get is the traditional large with pepperoni. The pepperoni is uniquely layered under the cheese. This works well because a lot of times, thin sliced pepperoni on other pizzas dry out easily when on top (I'm talking to you Donato's). Keeping it under the cheese helps keep the moisture in. The dough is not crisp, it's borderline soft, but it serves as a good platform for the real star of this pie: the bed of the most glorious low-rent cheese you'll ever have on a pizza! I think I heard somewhere a long time ago that they use a blend that consists of more provolone than mozzarella. When melted, it binds into a solid disc of cheese instead of the typically stringy mozzarella. This is where the divide probably comes in. To some that's completely unappetizing. I think it's wonderful though! It's probably awful for you and I usually get a stomach ache after eating 4 slices, but it's sooo good! My experience was terrible I am upset, my chicken was pink in side and my fries were burnt I called in advance to let them know I was coming they said okay when I got there I showed him my food he told me that it's was cooked and that the fries was not burnt I told him that's his opinion then and I would like my money back he said okay at this point there was nothing that needed to be said but of course MR TODD OPENED HIS MOUTH AND SAID he recommended I don't order from there again ! What could have been a very aggravating work meeting took a turn for the better when the boss ordered Teresa's. MMMMM!! I can't say anything negative about this pizza, except maybe that some people might find it weird that the pepperoni is underneath the cheese. But I don't care, because it was so tasty! The pizzas were cold, my daughter put a tip with the order but when we asked if she had, they said no, so we left another tip! The salad was subpar as well. Went there to pick up an order and none of them were wearing masks and the workers were rude. It's a requirement from the state for workers to wear masks and you would think it would be a NO BRAINER for people preparing food. I would avoid this place until this pandemic is over as they don't take sanitation seriously. We ordered a pizza at 7:27pm. They called us at 9pm saying they just realized that we are outside their delivery area (we live 5.8 miles away). We called to check on the order twice and they kept telling us it was in progress but never mentioned the delivery issue. We spoke to a manager, who quickly blamed the person who took the order saying that they never should have taken it. The only positive thing I can say about my dinner from Theresa's was that there was an adequate amount of Kalamata olives on the greek salad, however, it did not make up for the fact that they included no dressing on the salad or on the side. We ordered cheesy breadsticks as well, and instead they gave us regular breadsticks that were hard and tasted like something you would buy from the freezer section at the grocery store, only worse. I have been coming here since I was around 14 always have loved the bbq wings i suggest those to any wing lover they have a sweet smokey taste to them. Also I enjoy the pizza I love how they put the toppings under the cheese the flavors are just so amazing. I always get the pepperoni and sausage occasionally I get ther extra cheese but that's a little much because they already load you up with cheese. The only reason I give Them Four stars is because when you get delivery it is a hour wait and I literally stay 5mins away so that is a little ridiculous. I'd do 3.5 stars honestly. Its a thick pizza. Hefty amounts of cheese and sauce. Just not enough toppings. The flavoring can be a little limited. But, it is very, very good the next day cold. It sets perfectly that way. read more
