I grew up going to this location and I know it's had it's ups and downs. I've visited a few times recently and had no issues so I decided to have my son's birthday party here. I haven't felt like it's been overcrowded which is my favorite part. The only real issue I've had here is the bathroom; it's obvious they don't get attended to regular based on how dirty they are. My party hostess was Shaunny. She was extremely helpful. I had to make a few changes to my reservations several times (adding cups, pizza, etc). She was friendly and patient the entire time. Emphasis on the patience because I know I was being a pain - sorry! Lol. I visited again after the party on a Sunday afternoon and it was fairly quiet. Came here as a guest for a birthday party, haven't been here in a few years. This Chuck E Cheese is pretty small but good enough for smaller kids to have some fun and burn some energy. The birthday party was organized, ran smoothly, and staff started everything on time. The pizza was hot and fresh, which was good. We took our two grandkids (age 6 & 5) during Spring Break on a weekday. They both enjoyed every minute there. The only complaint I have is on their website, showed Wed special $17.99 for 60 minutes but not available in this location. Pizza is good. We will definitely go back. read more

This location is ok. They seem a bit understaffed. You'll have to wait for everything because only one or two people work the whole front- ordering food, getting a prize, coming in or leaving. The food is hot and fresh when it comes though, no complaints there. All of the adults and children I've encountered here seem friendly and respectful. My big issue with this place is cleanliness. My daughter was crawling around in the toddler area, and I noticed the yellow area around the slide was black with dirt and grime. A closer look at the whole area and it was quite evident it doesn't cleaned often, and may never get a thorough cleaning. Will it stop me from coming? I'm not sure. I'll have to see how other locations compare. I just want my daughter to be able to have some fun in a clean and safe environment! Update: they have Reno acted and took out half the games! The place is as dirty as ever. Seriously, dust collecting on the back of the toilets. Who knows when they were last cleaned! Yeah this location is a no go for me. I haven't been back since the "reno" of the place. However, machines were always broken. Bathrooms were a mess. This location is so close to home but much rather drive to the one in Paramus. Things that prob can't be fixed but not the facilities fault : The parents that go here do not pay attention to their kids. It was a good experience but you can't deny that the lack of tickets in the machines and the machines having errors when you come to play them. A couple of parties were going on so it's nice seeing kids dressed up enjoying their time. The photo booth for two tokens takes a nice picture so I'm impressed with the quality of the picture. read more

Having a three year old, I have been to every chuck E Cheese in northern NJ. It's far from perfect at this location, but it's no worse then any of the others. It's crowded, packed with way too many people, broken games, and of course our order was wrong (I didn't think a cheese and pepperoni pizza was complicated). With all the negative, I will still say this is the cleanest location of all of the places, and in my opinion the one I would prefer to go to. read more

I have been going to this CeC since I was in diapers. The place has managed to remained open all these years perhaps because it is a household name, however, they seem to be taking this for granted. First of all, this is a kid's place, and kid's don't want to see grumpy workers that look like they are there just to collect a check. I get it, not everyone can smile, but kids...you are the business of keeping kids happy and selling pizza. The next thing is that I found pretty damn disgusting was the mold/rotting cheese in the grated parmigiano cheese. It seems like they just keep refilling those things and not give a damn about freshness (I get it, cheap prices, but come on, I don't want my god children getting sick). Lastly, the games are falling apart, graphics are way past due for change. The whole environment is conducive to complacency and not caring about the experience they are selling. If this is the trademark service that Apollo Management paid CEC Ent. $1.4 Billion for, they should of asked for a bigger discount. Why do I care? Because a lot of immigrants come here that make minimum wage to see smiles on their kids face, but if they are leaving with a stomach virus and a half ass experience in exchange for "low prices" (btw still high relative to experience), then they are ripping the community off. This was absolutely the most disgusting lack of quality customer service that I've ever received. First, I walk in 5 minutes before my scheduled birthday party (1:30-3:30) and my tables not set up yet. I mean, nothing on the table. So my party and I stand and wait 15 minutes for the table to be set up, fine. 20 minutes in, I had to frikking ASK MY SERVER (I think his name was John or Jim or something; some young hispanic kid) where the children's tokens are so they could go out and play until the pizza arrived. His response, "oh yea, I'll bring them right out." Of course, he brings out the wrong amount of token cups. He then gives me a TWO MINUTE WARNING that the party (Happy Bday Song) was about to start. SO I had to run to the floor and gather my party to be present. After the song, I ask him to bring out another pizza for the table, before the cake was cut. Even the damn cake was wrong! I ordered the round cake, got the rectangle sheet cake with 4 damn candles.. My Daughter turned 5 and totally noticed! I got the highest package, so ice cream was included, but yet again I HAD TO REMIND THE WAITER WHAT MY PACKAGE INCLUDED. So, kids and parents ate the cake, pizza was still not out, so I tell waiter to cancel the order b/c the party would be leaving soon. Five minutes later, HE BRINGS OUT THE DAMN PIZZA ANYWAY. At this point I was over it and just wanted to get out. I see John/Jim/Whoever moseying around the floor with a drink in his hand like he has no cares in the world, mind you the party's ending in like 20 mins and I still have no bill at the table or goodie bags. He comes over and hands me the bill, I thank him, assuming that he went to the back to now bring out the goodie bags. I prep a $20 tip for him, because even though he's screwed up A LOT, he's a young kid and probably just had a tough day. NOPE. I have to call him back to the table after about 10 mins to pick up the bill and he disappears. Another 10 mins pass and my guests start leaving. I have to flag down another server and ask her to get the goodie bags asap b/c my party is starting to leave! I literally run after and guest and ask him to come back to receive his goodie bag. ANOTHER 10 minutes and we're packing up to leave and realize "Holy crap, we never got the card back!" So we flag down Jeff again and tell him to give us back our card (luckily i didnt put the tip in the bill holder b/c i def didnt give it to him). He comes back to the table with a woman, who explains to us that she MISTOOK OUR BILL WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S AND SWIPED THE DAMN CARD TWICE! TWICE. $400 charged for a $160 bill. She insisted that she canceled the other charge, but we demanded proof anyway (another 5 mins we had to wait). This was so atrocious. Of course, the kids had no idea and enjoyed themselves, but I paid for Chuck E Cheese to host this party so I didn't have to deal with any stress and could just show up and leave. In reality, I had to direct this kid in how to do his job. I am definitely taking my complaint to managers and corporate level because this was ridiculous! read more

This location seems small. Was here this past weekend for my niece's birthday. The staff to me seemed to want to rush you during your party but I get that you get slotted these different hours before the next party comes in. Personally I don't think I'd ever host my kids party here for so many reason but mostly cause its just over crowded and seems out of control. The foods is just okay, the pizza is always good but other than that might as well spend your money somewhere else. When we were leaving there was a line out the door of people waiting to get in. This place needs a lot of re-vamping in all honesty and I'm sure the owner knows this and maybe people don't say much about it but just know; they think it. The party Chairs need to be replaced. The food and the way its catered to people need to be fixed. the Tater tots aren't properly prepared and were cold, the pizza is dried out, the juice is watery and its sad that the staff is actually attentive but the problem with the establishment isn't in their reach of fixing. The absolute worst Chucke Cheese that I have ever been too. They do not serve beer. The manager flat out told me that the salad bar was no good. He said there was a party that was taking to much so he wasn't putting anything new out until they leave! There was no ice in the ice machine. Over half the games were broken or did not give you tickets. The place was over- filled with parents who did not watch there child or children!! There were maybe 5 year kids running around carrying there younger siblings as there parent's sat on there chunky butt's gossiping!! Horrible. The staff was not friendly!!! I usually hate Chuck E Cheese. I had my 8th birthday party their and fell in love 25 years ago. But now having to face the crowds, annoyed parents, crazy # of kids, it becomes painful over the weekends. But as a last minute option, I planned a party for my 3 year old. Luckily that day wasnt too busy on a Sunday. Alena, the birthday coordinator was super helpful and calm. The birthday host was nice - a bit not interested, but was still nice. Overall it was a good party and everyone had a good time. There was a mistake with our billing and they quickly took care of it. So four cheers for Chuck E Cheese. read more

This location seemed smaller then most locations I've been to. We had to wait almost 40 minutes to even step foot inside. My daughter had her heart set on going in and playing, so we waited. Once we got inside and got a table the food came out about 15 minutes later which wasn't bad considering how busy they were that day. I personally like chuck e cheese food lol so it was consistent to what it normally is. All the games seemed to work, but it was hard to find a empty game or not be asked for tokens from other kids (not the establishments fault but their parents). The bathrooms were gross!! I gave this location a 1 based on my experience going there and based on my knowledge from working at a chuck e cheese a few years ago. When my family and I first arrived to kid check, we weren't greeted at all. Suppose my family and I didn't understand the procedure of kidcheck. The worker who greeted us never explained why it was that we were getting our hands stamped although I understand why. She never asked if we had been there before. For all she knew we could've been first time guests. I don't live in the area so I'm sure she didn't see a familiar face. After she stamps our hands the line is long. Of course at most chuck e cheese locations there is an option to pay with a card. At the card machine there were no chuck e cheese cups at all on either side. We had to physically hold the coins which isn't a big deal but it is the point that they should be stocked. My niece enjoyed the rides they had there which was the plus side to my visit. When you arrive to the seating area none of the tables were bussed and the food looked like it had been sitting there for a really long time. I was there for about an hour and a half and the tables still weren't cleaned up. I just assumed they were short staffed and didn't have a busboy. In the location in which I worked at we always had chuck e come out and do the dance with the children. This is the part my niece looks forward to the most considering she is 3 and always moving around. She waited and waited to see that there was no chuck e to come out and dance but she was still satisfied with the rides she got to go on. As we were, leaving the manager of this location switched to kidcheck. She checked all the adults but not my niece. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. The purpose of kidcheck is to make sure the child leaves with their family members. That is why they stamp your hand in the first place to ensure the numbers match up and the kid isn't leaving with a stranger. In 2016 you never know what could happen and I am very displeased that she didn't check my niece at all. She let her leave with my family. We could have been strangers. I can't stress enough how important that part of my experience was. They could be sued one day if any family has a child that leaves with another person. This is a big safety concern and should be checked out by their district manager. read more

horrible...i had my daughters 2nd birthday there and the mouse was very lazy and not entertaining, the food was almost cold and hard, the buffalo wings were uncooked and our party coordinator hung out more in the dressing room with the mouse than with her parties ( only 3 of us). then I wanted to complain to the manager and she looked like she didnt give a damn, i dont remember her name but i think shes the only female manager with dark hair. she looked as if she came from a funeral and although she apologized and gave me tokens ( for machines that didnt work) she did not correct the attitude of her staff.
