I can't ask for much from a place like this. Lol The target market is my children. As long as they're happy, I'm happy. The food is decent. I prefer it over Urban's food. My husband likes the wings. I'd like them too if they were more on the well done side but that's just me. (And I'm out numbered.) It's pretty clean. There's always someone wandering the place sweeping or wiping something down, even stocking. Kids are gross in general, but they do their best at managing it. A quick peek in the restroom revealed it was clean. Speaking of management, they're pretty cool. Mercedes took the time to explain the memebership to us. I have not been in Chuck E Cheese in years but every time we pass my granddaughter beg me to stop so today I did just that and she had a blast. There are many loud machines and lights that draw their little eyes and make you spend money on things they can't play. But she is 2 so they have nice bouncing houses and interactive slides that are age appropriate. The check in process has changed so they have you take a picture with the kid/kids on your phone and then you show the same picture at checkout. Chuck E did appear for a moment and she went wild half excited half frightened. We decided to eat dinner and that's when I remember why i had not eaten there. I ordered her the meal and play for 12.00 and the choices were 3 small slices of chicken pizza, celery sticks and a bottle of water or pizza bites, pineapple, celery and water. We chose the chicken pizza and it was cold and very hard. I chose the personal pizza and salad bar. She had to eat my pizza because it came out 20 minutes later and was fresh and hot. Not saying I will not bring her back to play but will feed before I go. Too much money for her to be disappointed with food 30ish dollars. read more

Absolutely NOT worth the MONEY. $26 1 topping pizza ??!!! They took out all the good games and replaced it with lame boring games and a HUGE play ground that costs extra. Gets TOO packed. This location is always clean and I appreciate that. Machines are almost all always in working order. Every staff member I've interacted with has been kind to me and also to my kids. I don't get food so can't speak to that. We go on weekdays and I can say I never feel like it's too busy for us during that time. They recently moved the picture drawing machine in front of a window and that machine only picks up shadows, so if there are no shadows it has nothing to draw. So that is sad bc the pictures aren't coming out anymore and that was my favorite one for my kids to use and we always taped their pictures on their bedroom walls. While I recognize that it is Chuck E. Cheese in general and not this location, I must comment on the new trampoline park area. I don't think that the price is right for it. I'm not gonna pay $10 for my kid to jump on a trampoline. And even with the addition of the new slides, it's not worth $10. And I don't enjoy coming here and having to fight around with my kid about not being able to use it. I come here for fun, not for fighting. Paying by the minute or by the swipe is enough. Let's all be real, this place isn't cheap. And even the monthly subscription service doesn't include the play area. To tack on an additional price tag for this huge Area that takes up half of the store is obnoxious. They would've been better off to add more machines, as there aren't too many to begin with. Or else the old play area like they used to have, with slides and tunnels. Also think the prizes could use an upgrade. We are paying for them, after all. read more

We usually have great experiences at Chuck E. Cheese, but unfortunately our visit to the Pasadena location on Wednesday, August 27th (around 4:50-6:00 pm) was disappointing. We are Gold Pass members and come here very often with our two kids, and sometimes with family and friends. We spend a lot of time and money here on food, extras, and of course gameplay. Typically, when our kids are finishing up, we order food through the app--sometimes to eat here, sometimes to take home--and we've never had an issue at any location. This time, however, when my husband picked up our order and brought it to our table because the kids decided they wanted to eat there, a manager (an older woman in a purple shirt) followed him to our table. She made a comment along the lines of, "To-go orders are to-go since they take time to pack individually. When the place isn't busy like today, it doesn't take that long to go up to the counter and place your order--just for future reference." The tone and delivery came across as condescending and unnecessary, especially since we've never been told this before. If this was really an issue, a polite heads-up would have been more than enough. Instead, it felt like we were being scolded in front of our kids, which was uncomfortable and disappointing. We tried to get her name to address this properly but didn't see her after 5:40 pm, so I assume she had clocked out. Either way, we felt her attitude was unprofessional, especially for a kids' environment where families should feel welcome. We understand mistakes and miscommunications happen, but as loyal customers who visit often, we hope this kind of interaction doesn't happen again. read more

Worst experience I've had a kids arcade. I bought 2 cards for an hour and decide to "pause" the cards as they told me was an option because we were going to eat. After finishing our meal we go an try to use the cards but find out they don't have any time left. I went to the cashier to get some help as she had assisted me in pausing the cards to help out once again. She was willing to help me out and give me some time on the cards as she had seen it had clearly been paused. She wasn't able to make it work so she called the manager to resolve this issue. I'm not going to lie. As a parent I absolute dread any place like this. Add in a giant mouse suit and it adds to my dread and anxiety. Today's visit, however, wasn't bad! We don't ever go to Chuck E Cheese...unless of course we've been invited to a party. Which we were . We get there and honestly, I'm not unhappy with our experience. The party hostess was a hot mess, but it wasn't my party so I won't be the one to knock a star for that. The entire even was actually fun. My five year old, and this was her first visit, had an absolute blast (of course). She wasn't scared of a giant mouse, and was having all kinds of fun with the section of games for her age (she was particularly good at basketball ). As we were checking out with our token tickets my daughter really wanted the bubble gum machine, but it was 400 points. I had extra token tickets in my purse from a previous visit which made our total 398. The gal behind the counter was so nice and gave it to my daughter. Major props to her! I was NOT impressed with the girl working the cashier, Kiessha (which is the reason I knocked a star from the rating). She had absolutely no manners, knew nothing about getting a token card (we lost ours and I just wanted to buy another one), was no help when the salad bar was out of salad, and I don't know if a smile has ever graced her face. I cannot imagine a more unpleasant person working in a kid's restaurant. I get it. She works at Chuck E Cheese, which I can only imagine is a special kind of hell on the best of days, but that's not my fault! As a germophobe, I absolutely dread receiving an invitation to Chuck E. Cheese. I come in with my hand sanitizer and wipes. Sorry, not sorry. I've seen the documentaries about the pizza controversy, but my daughter absolutely loves this place. We go there probably once every other month. The staff is always friendly and patient. They have a salad bar buffet or you can order things off the menu. The selection of games captures the attention of young children and turns them into mini gamblers trying to obsessively win toys we can get from the dollar store across the street. Prior to going to the ER, I was told by the manager OD that they were not allowed to call 911 when they are allowed to call, according to corporate. I had my sons 4th birthday party here about a week ago. He had a blast! My host, Sylvia, gets 5 stars! She went above and beyond to make us happy, I didn't wait long for anything I asked for, and she did the best she could with my son. He was scared of the mouse so that part wasn't a good experience for him lol. Sylvia was the most pleasant host. Idk about these reviews on the food cause it was bomb or I was super hungry! I got 2 plates of salad and the pizza was fresh and taste good. One of my guests tried to knock it till she tried it. Even she said it got better from her last visit. The reason for the low rating: On arrival, the person that walked us to our table was so rude. Maybe it was a hectic day for her, idk, but she shouldn't be there if it's that stressful. You gotta have joyful, energetic, happy employees...like Sylvia. 2nd...,There was plenty of room to separate parties at every other table. I know...why am I throwing a party at a public place during a pandemic if I'm so worried about it.?! Sue me. Anyway, safe precautions should still be discussed and enforced. 3rd...make sure to get a plate for the salad when you make that purchase or they will think you're stealing from the salad bar. There should be details about salad bar rules in an e-mail before the party, inform all parties the day of about the rules or better yet, post them at the salad bar. It would save guests from confusion or accusations from stealing food. The manager there made a big deal and scolded my host about salad plates I purchased for my guest. It wasn't Sylvia's fault. Employees should be told once hired about all rules and procedures. I didn't appreciate her acting like I was stealing from the salad bar. Not cool. My son had a great time. I wouldn't plan a party there ever again, but I will take my son just to visit to play and eat. Probably at a different location tho. I don't make lengthy reviews but this was on my mind since the party and felt like I should share my experience so people know what to expect and not go through similar situation. P.S. Parents should be watching their kids anyway but the girls in the front need to do a better job at stopping kids run out the front door alone. This certain location was pretty awesome. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by one of the employees, and I noticed that there were some modern games, and a laser beam challenge. It was all pretty cool! When this location served us our half and half pizza, it was a bit saucy. There was not as much cheese as I expected, so the pizza wouldn't be a must-buy in my opinion. The prize selection was good, as my kids got the vampire teeth, which they loved. They all looked solid, so I'd say the presentation was not bad. read more

Excellent clean place. It can get packed, but the games are usually up to speed and they have plenty of employees trying to keep up, during the hectic times. My recent visit on May 9th was my last!! Not only did we wait, over 15min to have our arms stamped. When I placed my food order with an online coupon on their website. I was over charged! I continuously asked for an explanation of my charges. He kept say" you saved 2.00" Noway the coupon was for a medium 1 topping 2 drinks & 25coins for 23.99 (extremely over priced) & w/ a 3.00 upgrade to a large. The priced jumped to 30.99. Do the math I did. After 5min of arguing w/ him he called the Mgr. She proceeded to tell me that I was charged extra for pepperoni. But the coupon satated 1 topping! Wait for it! She then informs me that 1 topping is CHEESE!!! OMG!! So I asked her if I didn't want a topping she would just sell me the bread & tomato sauce? And her response" I can not give refunds!
