Decided to have my son's birthday party here last minute. We didn't have a host so there wasn't much communication on what to expect for my son's party. The table was decorated, along with other tables. The tables were very close together and cramped, not leaving much space for anyone. Chuck E. Cheese did come out but his visit was rushed and the character did not interact or act interested in my son at all. Overall, chaotic and not a great experience. The food here is always pretty decent.

Strongly prefer this location to the other nearby one in eagle rock. The game selection feels nicer and a bit cleaner to me in Pasadena. Even though it can get busy we've always enjoyed coming here as a family and have rarely had any issues with broken games. If there was we just let someone know and they helped us. Have been to countless parties here. It can tend to get very packed on the dance floor but we love it here. Sign up for their emails too sometimes they send promotions.

The food here was just very overpriced and not even that good. I feel like the food back then during pre-Covid was good and delicious. But now, it's not even worth it coming here for Pizza because it's just too overpriced and not that good. My bill was over $40 for two pizzas and cheesy bread. The service here was quick and efficient, and they were very welcoming to their customers walking through the doors. The ambience here was nice and a little bit noisy because it is a kids place and I don't mind that at all. It's really just the food, that it's just a little overpriced. Might come back here, but maybe order something else.

My sister and I brought our kids to this Chuck E. Cheese's since we were in the area, and my sister had visited this location before and loved it. It's really spacious with many more games than the one in our city. We ordered a large pizza for the kids and salad for us and fountain drinks for everyone. The food looked fine, the salad was pretty much the same as the salad in other Chuck E. Cheese's. Everything was good except for a weird smell that bothered me the entire time we were there. The kids didn't seem to notice, and they had a great time, but hopefully they do something about that smell.

This place has good intentions. It tries a lot to tailor to the families who bring their little ones to celebrate for occasions but it didn't fit the bill especially when I was charged $20.49 for chicken wings that were ordinary for a party of 1-2? But this place has the great entertainment to lure little ones with games galore. The staff are all super friendly and helpful!

Haven't been to chuckie cheese since my kids were little. Took my grandson and he loved it. However, the prices sure went up like 200%.

Forest Playgroup is one of the most nurturing and fun outdoor classes for young children that Los…read moreAngeles has to offer. And my son absolutely adores the class leader, Miss Betsy. Positive childhood memories are founded on a core of simple acts like being in and around nature, gathering leaves for art projects, studying caterpillars, listening to and pretending to be wildlife, taking time to breathe good old-fashioned fresh air, and singing down-to-earth songs with other little ones in the presence of their loving caregivers. I deeply wanted to make such pure experiences available for my son, but was initially at a loss for exactly how to offer that in a way that was compatible for a young toddler and manageable for me--a busy working mom. So I did what everyone does when seeking out the beauty and meaning of nature... I searched the internet. Little did I know that one fairly bland phrase, "outdoor preschool LA" was about to have such a positive and meaningful impact on my little family. We have been attending Forest Playgroup for over a year. My son was just starting to walk and talk when we first enrolled, and now he runs and holds full-on conversations. From the very first class, Miss Betsy created an environment and class structure that made it seamless for even the youngest children to have a compelling experience. The age expectation of the "0" as well as the "6" in the "0-6" age range are totally legit (though I do think the parents of some of the youngest babies in class can be fairly challenged by transporting an infant to Bailey Canyon...but most of them come every week anyway.) Miss Betsy's knowledge of child development, early education, and her gentle modelling approach really set PlaygroupLA classes apart. Forest Playgroup offers fun, compelling and thoughtful experiences for my son. HIs self-assurance--in saying his name at group time, initiating art projects with a variety of tools, and navigating the social complexity of other different little beings--has skyrocketed over this past year. And he's not the only one. Miss Betsy offers plenty of education, insight, coaching, empathetic perspectives, and a few funny asides for caregivers too. I often go home to my husband quoting Miss Betsy and feeling proud of my own growth as a parent. Forest Playgroup has become a vital experience for my son and our family. Miss Betsy truly creates a loving, light space for children and parents to be in. Something I feel lucky to have been able to share with my son.

We understand that arriving late may affect participation, but when we got there, no one answered the door. We knocked several times and called the center multiple times while we were outside, but no one answered the phone or came to the door. After we had already gone home, we called again and finally reached someone. The person, who said they were a teacher, told us that we could come back and mentioned they had been busy. While I understand staff can be occupied, it was frustrating that our repeated knocks and phone calls were not answered while we were at the center. A brief response or explanation would have prevented us from making a wasted trip home. As a parent, I expect clear communication and consideration for families. I hope you will look into what happened and take steps to ensure this does not happen to other families in the future. I would appreciate your response and an explanation of how this situation will be addressed. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Batzaya Bayarbileg
