Haven't been to this place in such a long while, my little one requested to come here on his special day, and glad that we did. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the amazing staffs which made our little one shout out in joy "today is my birthday", the staffs were so sweet and all greeted him a happy birthday and crowning him with his very own birthday crown, oh boy, you should see the smile on his face. When I was a little girl, my father used to take me to Chuck E Cheese every Friday after school. Of course, this changed as I got older and we discovered Dave & Buster's, but CEC has always had a nostalgic place in my heart, and imagine my surprise when the last field trip of the summer for my kids was at the very place I once frequented weekly - Chuck E Cheese! We were one of about three or four school groups that had reserved time slots an hour before CEC opened to the public, but instead of having a chaotic rush of kids, the manager of this Chuck E Cheese handled all of the parties with professionalism and made sure that each of the school groups had all that they needed and were accommodated. I wish I knew the manager's name, but she was truly the real MVP of the day. Now as for the actual games...it's definitely been awhile since I've gone to a CEC, so imagine my surprise when we walked in and it was like a miniature Dave & Buster's, no longer were there old arcade games that were always "out of order" (AKA Capcom vs Marvel, Jurassic Park 2-person shooter, etc.), but there were all these automated games like Fruit Ninja, Sketch (?), Mario Kart, etc. You best believe the kids had a blast! Perhaps the most surprising aspect of the entire field trip was the fact that the pizza and salad bar were DELICIOUS - I kid you not. The salad bar had a ton of different salad options and dressings, and the pizza was crisp but had the perfect amount of gooey cheese. If it wouldn't be creepy for an adult to have a birthday party here, I would totally do it, but alas, I am far too old. Took my great niece here, she lives in Mountain View. Got here early before they opened. Haven't been here in years and it sure made me feel like a kid again. Well I had a $35.99 coupon that came was a large 2 topping or specialty pizza and 100 tokens. Found these in the midweek, well worth it. I ordered half pepperoni, half mushroom pizza, order of cheesy bread & 4 drinks. We didn't wait long for the food to arrive. My impression was YUMMY. They actually added more mushrooms than I thought they would. The pizza crust was on the thinner side which to me was perfect. I like that the amount of ingredients used was just about right. The only draw back? It was just a tad bit over cooked. So the crust was a little harder than I would like it to be. The cheesy bread was actually good. The cheese was spread evenly except one end and it came with marinara sauce and ranch dressing. Onto the games. I like the variety of games they have for the kids (many adults were also playing lol). The best experience for hosting Kids Birthday Party ! From the beginning to the end the service was exceptional. I had my sons 6th Birthday party here 25 kids / 25 adults, we selected the mega fun package which came with 2 WHOLE hours of unlimited play for the kids, take home cups, extra tickets, party hats and so much more. Our point of contact was Jasmyn, anything you needed with your party she was on it from the moment we walked in the door. I'm pretty sure if I asked her to jump she probably would've said how high, that's how good her service was. We had her undivided attention the duration and even after the party time allotted. The whole staff was quick to help, very kind, and very apologetic for the minor inconvenience like a chair being dirty or my sons band not working. The managers and the team were so on it. When my son was in Kindergarten, the school held a Chuck E. Cheese fundraiser and invited the costumed Chuck E. to a school assembly. When the person playing Chuck E ran up to the stage, he fell and hit his head. He had to be taken away by ambulance. He was okay but when my son came home that day,he blurted out "Dad, guess what happened today? Chuck E.. Cheese died!" Face it, you probably only come here if you are a mom, dad, uncle, auntie, grandma, grandpa or are invited to a kid's party. Kids love this place. Most parents see it like a mini version of Vegas, where they can watch your paycheck disappear against a backdrop of flashing lights and noise. Okay, maybe that's too harsh. I give this place four stars because it's a lot of fun for kids and the food is surprisingly good. The pizza is pretty decent and the salad bar offers a healthy alternative. I think it's not bad as there are pretty affordable meal/token sets to buy. Since it's usually just my son and I, we get the one small pizza with one topping, 2 drinks and 10 tokens. We add 30 more tokens and the total is $31.99. That's a deal considering each game is one token. It lasts for over and hour for us and he is happy. The pizza is surprisingly not bad and the food usually comes out in a decent amount of time. It is always piping hot. If you go for the salad bar, it is a bit expensive, but for a Chuck E Cheese, the salad bar is pretty impressive with lots of choices. All ingredients look very fresh and appetizing. Unfortunately, it is a one time visit salad bar, and you get a small bowl, so stack that salad high! Every game gives you a minimum of two tickets even if your kids loses and doesn't know what they're doing. So in the end, your kid can redeem the tickets for a cheap toy. The staff are usually friendly and helpful, the place is clean enough, they do have hand sanitizer and Sani-Wipes available throughout the arcade, and parking is usually okay in the shopping center. read more

Not only did he have fun (which was the only thing that really matters), but we, the adults, had a few rounds with some of the games and had a blast doing so. It was nice to see old games (games that were there when I was in the 7th grade, which happens to be more than 10 years ago) and new games, too. I like how they have food and token deals. I especially like this location because they kept the band members on stage instead of keeping one, like the other locations. Chuck E. Cheeses is Las Vegas to kids! The games suck up tokens like there's no tomorrow but the kids can't stop feeding the machines because it keeps spitting out tickets. There's several children high on excitement and fruit punch running around and into each other. The older kids are there because of their younger siblings but they still having a blast jumping and banging on rides way too small for them. There's adults walking around dressed up as a giant mouse, dog, chef and some crazy purple monster. Some kids are deathly afraid of them but others run to them to take pictures with them. Every hour these giant animals throw a dance party for the kids with a grand finale of tickets raining into the air whipping the kids into a frenzy. The whole time parents do one of two things: 1) complain about the noise and crowd while chasing their kids and asking themselves why they came in the first place or 2) sit and stuff their face with pizza while never ever paying attention to their kids who are running amuck and busting up the place. When the money stops flowing, the kids whine and grumble. Like Jekyll and Hyde they then quickly become full of excitement as they feed the ticket machine to score a toy that probably cost Chuck E. Cheese an entire shiny penny and will end up at the bottom of the toy bin to never be seen again. We had to wait for a bit for our tables and there's a barrier from the waiting area to the rest of the venue. The place seems really small, even as we walked through to where the tables were set up. This 5 star review is for their excellent service they provided me and my family this past weekend. I didn't have prior reservations for a party of 18 but they was so kind to accommodate me and set up a party package ASAP. Our host was amazing! Ejay was super friendly to my entire family and was always making sure we were ok. What got me surprised was when he came around with lids and straws for our cups!!! I've never had that done at Chuck E. Cheese and I've been here countless times. They usually have beverage pitchers on your tables and just the cups. You normally just go the beverage station and get your own lid and straw if needed. That simple gesture was just made the experience amazing. Thank you Ejay for being so attentive! We've been coming to this location ever since forever but this was the first time since the start of COVID that we've been back. I'm very happy with their new processes including taking a selfie with the kids upon entering vs the hand stamp method, hand sanitizer and hand wipes throughout the place, signs reminding people of the mask mandates, signs to social distance and the use of every other table to ensure proper distancing when eating. As we were eating, I saw the manager continuously cleaning and wiping down the games while making sure everyone was taken care of. The staff is always friendly and no one ever has any attitude here. Very Disappointed. I first took my son here in late December. I was very cautious and pleasantly surprised at the safety precautions taken. Fast forward to Wednesday 3/24. I really love the energy and vibes walking into this kid zone! It somehow brings me more joy and excitement rather than feeling stressed and overwhelmed. I've been coming here for years and have seen some minor changes to the stage overtime with the additional ticket blowing machine thing. Every thing seems to under control and not the mayhem and that I've been exposed to at the Aina Haina, or mainland locations. Today I sat at a table near the windows that look out to the parking lot and let me tell you, it really needs some cleaning. There was pizza sauce stuck on the walls of the booth that I sat in. Black dust built up in the light structure that hangs over our food. Dust build up on the window cells. Which a quick wipe down would do good. But besides that.. today's visit was nice. The staff were friendly and I got seated at a table by the time I finished ordering our food. That was a great plus. I think one of the supervisors or managers delivered our food to our table and was very polite and attentive in helping me get plates and cheese for our pizzas. Great service. My daughter used to be terrified of the characters there... and still is. Lol. But she skillfully avoids them while she's having a blast playing the games there! Thank goodness it's only one token per game! We had my son's 5th birthday party here. Around 70 friends and family attended. I am SO impressed with their services and staff!!! Everything was taken care of, EVERYTHING. Our hosts kept us on a schedule, monitored the food, just in case we needed more, gave us more seats when unanticipated guests showed up, and even watched our bottom line, getting us deals and utilizing coupons. Yes, I did the dance and served the birthday parties in the showroom. It's changed a bit since I've been there. It's a lot cooler now I think. Recently bought out of town guests here with their children here. They had so much fun! I was pleasantly surprised how clean and bright it was inside. The food was actually really good! Who would expect tasty, well cooked pizza in a place like this. The chicken wings with the various sauces pleased all the different tastes of our family- Clever! So my 3 yr old had a simple procedure done yesterday at Kapiolani Children's hospital which we knew she was going to be traumatized by her experience and had a lingering pain for a while so we came here to uplift her and hoping she'll forget about the pain. We figured since it was Monday it would be slow and we wouldn't have to worry about too many kids while keeping track of 1 and 3 yr old. We ordered bunch of food and about ten minutes after we sat down, Chucky came by our table prompting us to follow him for the show, so we all left the table leaving her toys she got from her doctor and food and drinks thinking it'll still be there when we come back. We were out of the table for a while so staff cleared out the table thinking we weren't going to come back. We didn't care about the food and drinks so much but toys were something my 3 yr old was obsessed with since she had "earned" it from the doctors for going through a lot of pain. I explained the situation to the staff and asked if they could dig up the toys from the trash (I was gonna clean it) but they said it wasn't retrievable. Then the staff who cleared table really apologized and said they were going to rebake our pizzas and bread sticks and brought back fresh cups for the drinks. The toddlers didn't want to sit still so we said "no thank you" to their offer and was going to leave before she found out her toys were gone. Then, the staff brought a bag of cotton candy and a bag full of toys. Since she got them from the staff she was super stoked and happy for the new "earned" toys. It really made her day. I want to give my sincere mahalo all the staff for the speedy response and even though it wasn't your fault you took the time to make sure my 3 yr old had a blast yesterday. It was really important for us to end yesterday with a lot of smiles especially the last few days had been a nightmare for her and your kindness meant a lot to us.
