Birthday at CEC, maybe not. I'll start by saying that my wife, kids, and I consider this our go-to location. We've always had positive experiences with the staff, from cleanliness to food quality and the overall experience for our kids. Back in January, we hosted a birthday party for our six-year-old, and everything went smoothly. When I booked the party for 11 AM and paid the deposit, the manager told me I could arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up and place our food order so it would be ready as guests arrived. That first experience was great, so we decided to book another party this past weekend for our nine-year-old. Unfortunately, this time was a completely different experience. I arrived at 10:45 AM, cake in hand, but the doors were locked. A few minutes later, an employee came out and told me, "Sorry, we don't open until 11." I explained that I was there for a birthday party and that the last time, the manager let me in early to set up and order food. I asked if they could check with the manager to see if that would be okay, but the employee just said, "I'm on my 10," and walked away. A few minutes later, another employee arrived for work, and I asked again if they could check with the manager about letting us in a little early. By this point, it was around 10:50 or 10:55. The response was simply, "We open at 11." At this point, another mom from a different party had also arrived with decorations. She mentioned that in her previous experience at Chuck E. Cheese, they were always allowed in early to set up. The employee responded, "Yeah, that's not how we do it." The mom asked, "So we have to set up and order food right at 11 while guests are arriving?" and the employee just said, "Yeah," and walked inside. When the doors finally opened at 11, an employee came up, unlocked the door, didn't greet us, and just walked away. By then, multiple party groups and members of the general public were all entering at once. I quickly put the cake down and went to the counter, but there was already a long line for food and drinks. Meanwhile, my wife and mom were rushing to set up decorations as our guests were arriving. The entire process felt chaotic and stressful instead of the fun, relaxed experience it should have been. Since we paid for a party from 11 to 1, I felt a bit ripped off because, by the time we got wristbands and ordered food, it was already 11:20--meaning the kids didn't get to start playing right at 11. The manager never apologized and only said, "We weren't ready to open before 11." To be fair, once the food arrived, it was fresh and tasted great. The party with Chuck E. was fun, but the Ticket Blaster felt underwhelming. After all the buildup, the kids walked away with less than 100 tickets, which isn't enough to get anything decent. It wouldn't take much for them to swap out some of the lower-value tickets so birthday kids actually walk away with a more exciting prize. One of the biggest frustrations was the table situation. There were multiple parties booked for 11 AM. The first party got two long tables, four side tables, and two tall tables. The second party got two long tables and two tall tables. Our party of 12 kids and 10 adults? We got one table. Every other available table was marked "Reserved," including tall tables that were blocked off for parties that weren't happening for hours. After going back and forth with multiple employees, we were finally allowed to use some of those extra tables, but it shouldn't have taken so much effort. Overall, this is still our home location, and we've enjoyed most of our experiences here. But this past weekend was rough, and many parents in our party left feeling like maybe Chuck E. Cheese isn't the best option for birthdays anymore. A little customer service and time management training would go a long way in improving these situations. read more

Overall this place gets like NO stars and I'm not just talking about the location. I'm talking about the company all together. Ya ya ya. Price inflation is a thing. But you gotta be kidding me at almost $15 for 8 meatballs. And no I'm not even joking. Now you want fries well that's gonna run you over $5 with tax for the smallest portion of fries I have ever seen. I'm not saying the food is bad. I'm saying the food is way over priced. Wings are gonna run you $20-$30 depending on how many you get and if you want bone in because you like the taste that's an extra $2 and they are from miniature chickens. Checkout my photos. We spent well over $200 before even playing a game. Now here is where they get you. They want you to buy a membership. Because the membership gives you a discount on food. But let's be real here. Who really wants a membership to chick e cheese?? Also it really isn't worth it unless you are coming every day to use that game play. But even then the add on the front door is misleading. If you want the real discount then it's gonna cost you about $30 a month with a one year commitment. Or you can pay $160 for two months straight out and commitment. While you may get 50% off most food items. Are you really gonna be at Chuck E. Cheese enough to warrant that cost?? I would say yes I would and I would commit to that if the food was cheaper. If the ply points were unlimited play and not points and if maybe just maybe they gave me a free beverage every visit so as a parent I could actually enjoy my time sitting in the corner while my child played. I might even consider a party here again. Okay last rant. And this one I definitely saved for last. WHERE IS THE EGG. I use to come here and enjoy a nice salad bar and get the kids a pizza and some game play. But they got rid of my all time favorite salad bar topping. My extra protein boost. My favorite food of all time. EGG. It's gone. No where to be seen. Just not on the salad bar anymore. It was never a luxurious salad bar. Always had minimal options. But I could always count on that hard boiled shredded egg to fill me up and make me happy with my choice. Make me feel like even though I don't eat pizza I too could have a nice meal and not have to stop on my way home. If you're a chick w cheese fan let me know what you like. If you have the membership I would love to know how it's working out for you. P.S. I worked at Chuck E. Cheese many many moons ago and I was a huge fan. Despite everyone talking about the cardboard pizza. I was a fan of how affordable it once was. How they offered amazing coupons for families to have a nice night out. Now not so much. read more

We celebrated my daughter's 6th birthday on Friday, November 15, 2024, and it was a day filled with joy and laughter. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to our party host, Angelic. From the moment we arrived, she made my daughter feel like a true princess, ensuring that the day revolved around her. Angelic's attention to detail was remarkable; she decorated the space beautifully. Her positive attitude radiated warmth and enthusiasm, making everyone feel welcomed. Despite the overwhelming success of the celebration, we did encounter a minor hiccup--the soda machine was not working properly, and the drinks came out flat with no carbonation. While this was a disappointment for the kids and adults. Overall, the day was a beautiful celebration of my daughter's special milestone, and I couldn't have asked for a better host to help bring it to life. I recently visited this chucke cheese for a friend's kid b day party, and I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by Marissa. From the moment we got to the counter, her attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine warmth stood out. What truly impressed me was how she went out of their way to ensure our experience was memorable....something we deeply appreciated. Service like this is rare and deserves recognition. came to the new location with my family last night and had the best experience. I will be upgrading my play pass just because of how great the service was. The employees were walking about and asking us how we were doing. Even the manager stopped by our table to check up on us and asked us if we need anything. i wish all Chuck E. Cheese's had that kind of service. The food was also perfect. read more

we used to go to the la mirada location but we are going to make this our main location. the staff was so nice and welcoming and the manager Wayne is super helpful. the store is really clean the food is fresh and the kids loved all the games and ninja kids obstacle. read more

Understaffed kids getting hurt left to right in here ! no workers telling kids to stop running! They let any height jump while little kids get hurt! food is cold ! Second time here and will NEVER come back to this site! For being brand new it's absolutely dirty! read more
