Avoid all interactions.... I had Caroline as my service representative…read more.. Overall This was by far the worst service experience I've ever had. Communication was nonexistent -- it was almost impossible to get a status on my vehicle. I was told my truck would be ready by 12 PM on December 9th after leaving it the week prior, only to be told when I called that they still needed to "reassemble" it, and I didn't hear back until the next morning. I also never received the promised call about a trade-in quote. The service itself was misleading and unprofessional. I was told my EGR cooler needed replacement due to coolant loss caused by the HVAC actuator -- two completely unrelated systems. Any competent mechanic would know this. I received a picture that showed nothing, was told it "would not do justice," and never got actual evidence of the claimed corrosion when I asked. It felt like a blatant attempt to upsell, taking advantage of me as a pregnant woman and veteran. On top of that, the prices were grossly inflated, and my AC isn't working properly after their work. The "evidence" I was given was useless, and I left feeling cheated and frustrated. I would never recommend this place.

This company sold me a blue honda civic in September of 2015 before I even. Got the plates and tags…read moreI was already having issues. The first of brake lights that would not go off, I then lost power steering, after that the AC went out, everytime I rolled down the windows I stripped the tint off them, the anti theft on the radio would drain my battery. The straw that broke the camels back was my transmission that blew out not even a year after I financed it. I'm in a poor credit situation so finding a lender that would approve me and also not have to put down an exuberant amount of money down was near impossible and I need a car yesterday. My only option was to go back to the same dealer even with the broken down civic and roll over the amount that I owed on the civic into a new financed car. So I spend all day looking around the lot and find one that looks and feels like it is in perfect condition. I choose a 2006 hyundai santa fe. Everything is perfect and running as planned until 4 weeks in and my air bag light comes on and will not turn off 3 days later my starter is busted. I understand that I financed both of these cars with the understanding that it is sold as is. But it seems very unlikely that I would have 2 cars that break down with in a month of getting them. I have paperwork on repairs that were done to this car previously that were in the manual and it states that repairs were needed soon for the starter but we're refused. The dealership obviously inspected this car and that was going to happen soon but did not mention anything. I believe this is considered fraud. I feel swindled and most certainly taken advantage of by this used car dealership that deals with people in poor credit situations and in dire need of a vehicle. I wish there was something I can do about this but there are no laws protecting people like me against predators like this. It's all he said she said at this point when it comes to me claiming fraud so now I'm stuck paying 8 grand for a car that's hardly worth 4 grand.

I bought an 11yr old Ford F250 from Vara in mid 2026. Considering that I was driving an hour to go…read morelook at the truck, I asked a lot of questions upfront about the condition, if anything was not working or a problematic. Their feedback was that everything was good, no problems. Upon test driving the truck I highlighted that the brakes had a bad vibration in them and the owner said he would take care of them. Since his mechanic was out, we agreed that he would fix them later and closed the deal. Withing a day of having the truck I informed the owner that the emergency brake didn't work and it's release would stick and keep the brake light on and making the dinging noise, additionally the drivers side automatic door locks didn't work nor did the white taillight reverse lights. He agreed to have these fixed when the brakes were worked on. Over the course of 2 months I could not get the owner to respond in a timely manner nor work with me to figure out how to get the truck back to him to keep for a few days. The truck was unusable for 2 months because the brakes were so bad that when the owner stopped replying completely, I had to just take them to get fixed myself. He had told me at the time of the sale that all pads were replace and there were 3 new rotors, so the vibration was likely just air in the lines from not being bled completely. When I got the wheels off, the rear calipers were seized (causing the vibration), the pads were non-existent and rotors scored. The front brakes had new pads but both rotors were really bad and ruined the pads. I would not trust buying from Vara, they will do or say anything to get a sale and don't try to sell a quality vehicle.
