Avoid all interactions.... I had Caroline as my service representative... Overall This was by far the worst service experience I've ever had. Communication was nonexistent -- it was almost impossible to get a status on my vehicle. I was told my truck would be ready by 12 PM on December 9th after leaving it the week prior, only to be told when I called that they still needed to "reassemble" it, and I didn't hear back until the next morning. I also never received the promised call about a trade-in quote. The service itself was misleading and unprofessional. I was told my EGR cooler needed replacement due to coolant loss caused by the HVAC actuator -- two completely unrelated systems. Any competent mechanic would know this. I received a picture that showed nothing, was told it "would not do justice," and never got actual evidence of the claimed corrosion when I asked. It felt like a blatant attempt to upsell, taking advantage of me as a pregnant woman and veteran. On top of that, the prices were grossly inflated, and my AC isn't working properly after their work. The "evidence" I was given was useless, and I left feeling cheated and frustrated. I would never recommend this place. read more

Purchased a used vehicle from Yacklin in early May 2022. As part of the negotiation, it was agreed that a few items were to be repaired before we took possession. All were fixed except the damaged front grille. It was explained that the grille had been ordered and would be installed when it arrived. I even offered that they could just ship the part to me and I would install since we live over an hour away from the dealership. We took possession of the truck with the understanding that the grille had been ordered. We didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks so I phoned the salesman and he told me that he was no longer with Yaklin and I would need to call the dealership. I had phoned numerous times with no return calls. Finally spoke with the sales manager and he apologized and stated that the part had not been ordered but he would see that it was and call me with a status. No return call. I have phoned the dealership numerous times and have left messages for both the sales manager and the GM. No return calls. I guess they are going to rip me off and not replace the grille that was agreed to as part of the deal. Update: the GM and the Parts Mgr. have both contacted me, apologized, and have assured me that the part is being ordered. read more

At 300 miles the ram I purchased dropped the driveshaft while driving on the road. So I had it 1 week now been in shop two weeks and it has been extended another two weeks. Don't trust Yaklin. Katelynne was really nice to however the rest of management were not. I waited almost 3 months for a Jeep that was "in transit" and even though it did not have on it what I was told it had, I was willing to look past that. Then the price used to calculate payments was not the price on the website, when I questioned that, I was told that the website was not correct. My paperwork was not with my other information/manual, and it took 2 weeks of emails to finally get it sent to me. The sticker price confirmed that the website was correct and so I presumed it was an honest mistake and would be corrected as that is the ethical thing to do. I was also told that I couldn't get what I wanted for my trade in because Yaklin could not sell it, it would have to go to auction and never be able to be on the lot due to its age and mileage. However, my trade in was in fact on the lot for sale by Yaklin and NOT at auction. After several days of emails asking about corrected paperwork I was finally given a response with some reasoning about price protection and charge backs because the Jeep had been a cancelled order. That had nothing to do with me, I didn't cancel any order and the price listed and advertised is what is expected. A big reason I even came to Yaklin was to buy local, especially in these hard times but also because I thought a small town, locally owned business would be ethical and do right by their customers. I just don't understand doing business in a deceiving way or treated customers like this. I was eventually sent an email stating there would be no corrective action therefore I have to believe that this is the way Yaklin does business and I find that disheartening and frustrating especially in today's world, deceiving or scamming hard working people is just not the way business should be handled. read more

I was told days ago they would contact the warranty group to get the truck released and get worked on by the other dealership. I had the BEST experience in buying my new Durango. And I would have recommended anyone buying a new car to come here. But the HORRIBLE problems with the service center has seriously over shadowed that!!! I took my car into their service center the end of September in which they had to order a part. They told me it would be 3-5 business days for it to come in. Well, I had another appointment on the 20th of October for another issue with my car to find out that the part from the previous month was NEVER ORDERED!! I was not happy just for the fact that I live 2 hours away and I've made 2 round trips for absolutely NOTHING!! Yes I was given a free oil change for my trouble but seriously! That means I have to drive 2 hours from my home to get a "FREE" oil change. The service center ordered my original part and the new part I had to get ordered on my second trip and they said once again it would be within the same 3-5 business days for the parts to come in. I called and spoke with a guy in the parts department a week after he told me that one of the 2 parts had come in. The second part was scheduled to come in the following week, making it 2 weeks of waiting for a passenger glass window. I waited and called back the next week to the parts department for a man that worked there to tell me it was going to be another week before the glass would be in!!!! 3 weeks total for a standard glass to come in!!! I was extremely upset and told them they needed to figure something out because it was complete BS that it takes that long for a STANDARD and COMMON vehicle window to come in. Shockingly they were able to find on from another dealer within 20 min of me calling!! Something that should have been found 2 weeks ago!!!! Needless to say this will be the LAST TIME I EVER USE THIS SERVICE CENTER AGAIN!!!! It's sad to have such a wonderful buying experience and then such a GOD AWFUL service experience. read more

TAKE YOUR $ ELSEWHERE! This was the worst experience w/ any business I've ever had. They clearly left my vehicle in WORSE condition than when I brought it to them. I took my 03 Dodge Ram 1500 in for a hyper flash issue when using my flashers & left/right turn signals. I was told by the service writer Landon that I needed to pay for a diagnostic in order to confirm the issue. After "confirming" my TIPM module needed to be replaced ($900), in addition my front module needed replacement too (another $900). Upon completion Landon called me & stated the truck was finished & ready for pick up. Arrived, paid for diagnostic, parts & services then went to inspect the vehicle only to find I still had the exact same issue going on....$1,800 later. STEALership apologized & stated they would continue to work on it. Next I was told it was the cluster, which would be another 2 weeks & $300. They would have to ship it off to the mfr & have it rebuilt but due to the lack of confidence I'd had they offered to split the cost with me to have this performed. Over 2 weeks later & after not hearing anymore I followed up myself & was told by Landon that not only had it already come back but that the mfr confirmed there was nothing wrong with it & worked perfectly. Go figure. Over the next 4 weeks I was told my LED 3rd brake light and/or license plate light were the issue but were swapped with OEM replacements & the issue remained. I finally called the service manager Christina for a rental vehicle as my truck had now been there for a month. I was told they didn't have a rental and even if they did I would only be able to use it for 5 days! In addition she attempted to make it sound like she was doing me some kind of favor by doing this additional diagnostic free of charge (around "25 hours of free labor" is how it was phrased) to which I reminded her that I had already been told the issue was fixed & the truck was ready for pick up when clearly it wasn't. If additional labor time was needed prior to stating completion to resolve the issue I could understand that scenario but that's not what happened. Truck has now been there over a month so by doing the math their tech was spending an average of 1 hour a day on my vehicle to which I'd already paid $1,800 toward a repair that still didn't exist. Next was a "mfr engineer" (that never showed) would be diagnosing it. Finally fed up & in desperation (about a month & half of not having my vehicle) I agreed that if they could simply disable the audio noise I would just pick the truck up. Was called around 5 days later saying the audio hyper flash noise was cancelled through soldering (dash still flashed "bulb out" & hyper flash in the flashers & signals still exists) & that again, the truck was ready for pick up. Picked up the truck & several days later went to use the grab bar to get in & the entire assembly snapped clean out & almost busted by head falling backward out of the truck! Upon inspection found no shards of plastic, hardware that holds the grab bar in place were completely stripped out & that the mounting points had clearly been previously busted out. Immediately called the dealership & asked for Christina who instructed me to "bring it on in". Upon arrival the technician stated that "it was already like that but was able to get one of the mounts to hold". Ok....so if that's true why wasn't that relayed to me upon picking up the vehicle? Are there any other items I should be made aware of that your clearly lying about?? A few days later another driver starts drifting in my lane so I go to lay on my horn in an attempt to notify the other driver I was there...nothing! Come to find out my horn now no longer works making it impossible for my vehicle to pass inspection & more importantly knowingly leaving me in a potentially dangerous situation on the road! AGAIN, immediately called & asked for Christina. Was told "she's on the other line & would have to return my call" which of course never happened. First off let me say that I usually only post positive reviews, I understand companies may have occasional problems and I try to understand possible bad reviews or negative opinions. However, I felt that writing this review was necessary in helping others experiences be positive which simply means avoiding this dealership. When I was looking for my jeep, I called numerous dealerships. I live two hours away from this dealership so when I called and made sure that the exact jeep I wanted was there, I also wanted to negotiate price before I drove the long distance to pick it up. The sales rep (woman who is no longer there) informed me that there was a big turnover rate there with employees, it was end of the month and they would make the deal happen. We negotiated the price, I was preapproved for that amount from my bank, and I headed there to pick it up. Got there, all price was lies just to get me in. I should of left but ended up purchasing jeep. Since I spent the extras for the wheels and tires, lift etc. They worked with me (so I thought) and said it would take a week to get in. Since I work nights and live two hours away, they were suppose to provide a rental (the day my jeep was in the shop), detail it (since they didn't do it the day I purchased), and get all and paperwork sent to the company putting the lift, tires, etc on. They didn't and didn't inform me- I dropped my jeep off-there was no rental. I called FOUR times before to make sure that this was done, they informed me that it was all ok and ready-more lies. Invoice was wrong, had to argue and get that taken care of. Sat there for hours and no rental. Parts weren't ordered so instead of a day in shop, it was two-still no rental. When I asked to speak manager, oh more lies. Thank you ABRAM for saying you were the JEEP MANAGER of the entire SALES- LIES. Thank you ABRAM for informing me you would get us a rental and five times-FIVE you promised to call us back! UM no you didn't... It's 2018 and you made this experience terrible, for myself and everyone else who had to be involved. I will make sure that all my family and friends buy their JEEPS anywhere else from here. Obviously the turn over rate there is for a reason, this company needs to get it together. Super sad guys, hope you treat others better. I don't wish this experience on anyone. If I could give them negative stars I would, as 1 star is far too high of a rating. They have not touched our truck in WEEKS and will call and leave messages on one phone and not the other phone number on file (my husband is hospitalized and they leave messages on his phone only). They do however send very tacky text messages to both phone numbers asking us to pick up our truck that they have not fixed because they have not heard from Chrysler, then they say the claim is voided because we picked up the truck like we were instructed by them to do! Kianna is exceptionally rude and does not comprehend the job she is doing. The manager, Kendra, is equally as rude but is at least intelligent enough to discuss vehicle issues. No member of the staff will go out of their way to assist the customer or actually do their job. They lie and manipulate to their own benefit. They show no compassion for the customer knowing full well that we are there for service issues caused by FAULTY RECALL WORK DONE BY 2 DIFFERENT CHRYSLER CERTIFIED MAINTENANCE SHOPS!!!!! They are of the opinion it isn't their fault and it isn't their problem. I have never dealt with such UNPROFESSIONAL people in my life. And then they have the nerve to tell me that I should file an insurance claim because they think my truck has been vandalized! I bought a used Lincoln from them in January and even purchased the extended warranty which turned out to be a big mistake. I made them assure me this was a "bumper to bumper" warranted and it turned out to also be a lie. Finally, the sales rep for the warranty company called me and told me he had spoken with Mr. Yalkin and he personally was going to help me if I came in the see him. I am four hours away from this dealership, but they had a car I really wanted and nobody else had. I never had to work so hard to get somebody to sell me a car. No response to emails, text messages, or phone calls. If somebody happened to answer the phone, they would talk to me, but they would never return calls. We agreed on one price over the phone, it was a different, higher price when I got there. I was told one interest rate over the phone, the on-site rate was three times higher (my credit score is over 800). I decided to just pay cash for the car, they wouldn't take it; said they needed to finance the car to give the lower agreed upon price. Took over 4 hours to buy this car!! Then I got home with it and realized it did not have an inspection/registration sticker. They knew full well I was coming and the car had not been cleaned or detailed. While I was cooling my heels in the office for 4 hours, a chirpy little girl responded to the text I had sent several days earlier. I told her I was sitting right outside her office trying to purchase the car but she kept right on with her script like she hadn't heard me. I took my Jeep Patriot in to the service department on November 25th because the vehicle would "slip" when accelerating slowly, mostly after the car had warmed up. My appointment was at 8 AM. I was informed it may be a misfire, but additional troubleshooting was required and they would not be able to get to it that day. So I scheduled another appointment for December 4th at 8 AM. Akeept following up and nothing was being and I was not being updated with any information. I asked that they forget the troubleshooting and begin replacing spark plugs, wires, coils, time the timing chain, anything covered by the warranty. Again, they never got around to my vehicle. December 30th I picked up my Jeep in the same condition as I dropped it off in on December 2nd. They did during this time fix a flat tire on the Jeep for me at no charge and got me a loaner Jeep Grand Cherokee, also at no charge. The service representative that helped me, Marcus, was Yaklins saving grace. Marcus was very knowledgeable and polite, he just couldn't get the Jeep into a bay to be serviced. I was an out of area internet customer with my own financing, key word "was". I worked with a salesperson for a couple of days negotiating a price. We agreed upon a price and I sent in details to start the paperwork. Then I received a call from the "internet sales manager" saying the price I was offered was only for their financing. They said I need to finance through them to get that price. I said no thank you, and that I was no longer interested in the vehicle. Then I get three more additional calls, plus "pity" text messages saying they discounted the vehicle already and I needed to finance through them to make it work. This is old-school dealer tactics and please avoid this dealership. I bet if you went in for a trade they would hold your keys until you bought their vehicle. read more

Horrible Service. Only gave them 1 star because I couldn't give them less. I dropped off my 07 Wrangler for drive train repairs on Thursday night. Got text first thing on Friday morning with Service adviser contact. I communicated several times Friday and Saturday but didn't receive any response until after 10am on Monday. I realize the service Dept is not open all day Sat and closed on Sunday but I would expect a diagnosis/estimate after 1 and half days +. I was notified that Jesse was no longer with the dealership and finally provided a diagnosis/estimate. I provided a response on the repairs I wanted in less than 2 hours. It wasn't the full list so I was set up to return in the future for the remaining repairs. This was not a couple 100 dollars worth of work and estimate was over $3000. I attempted repeatedly from Monday thru Wednesday to get a status on the progress of the work. I didn't get any updates until I called the following Thursday (1 week after dropping the vehicle off) and requested to speak with the General Manager. After being screened I was sent to the Service Dept and then got bounced to another Service advisor, never did speak with the GM. I provided my 3rd Ser Advisor with the details and he indicated IF they had the parts he would get my vehicle done by tomorrow. He called me back shortly to indicate they would have to order parts. Yes,!!!! they had my Jeep a week and hadn't ordered parts yet. At this point I told him I didn't trust them to repair my Jeep and I'll take it somewhere who wants my business. Obviously I will not buy from or return for repairs to this dealership. read more
