The owner advised to leave the car overnight so he could check it when it starts first time. I left the car and next day he called me and said there was nothing wrong but because the engine was old, the oil rising up would make the rumbling sound and nothing had to be done. I took my car to A1 Japanese Autocare and the problem was found with the engine mounts that had to be replaced. Once it was done, no more rumbling sound. I suspect the AMA autoshop never examined my car. I wasted my time, paid for the Uber and was obviously lied to. Go figure.... may be this shop is like a gambling : you may get good service or you may get bad service, take your chances.

I called and spoke with Sonny and felt good vibes from him, soft-spoken and down-to-earth. I brought the car in the next day. Sonny seemed to be the owner and he had two or three workmen who seemed serious and focused workers. The car was inspected and then his wife Marie (I assume she was his wife) came around from the window in the office/waiting room and went over each item with cost. The bottom line was quite reasonable and the job they did was 'night and day,' that is, a very good job. I'm glad I found this business. I definitely sensed competence and honesty.

I have to say getting here was quite the feat; as I am not from the area, and Industrial appeared to be a long road of auto shops, a thing I am not familiar with by any means. I was confused to enough where I called, but was greeted by a friendly employee, who said they would meet me outside to direct me where to go. Instructed to leave my keys, I was invited inside and went to the counter, where I registered everything and had a seat in their waiting area across the way. Thankfully there was a television, and some dance movie (Step Up 3 or something) was playing. Even though it was far from the beginning, I still watched since there was pretty much nothing else for me to do. A couple others were waiting for their cars, one had a laptop plugged in. Behind there were some vending machines and the restrooms; I point this out because other places where I have gotten my oil change do not have such extras so this was a good thing. Within the hour, I was out of there, and the girl working the front was super-sweet and helpful. Although I was initially quoted a lower price for the estimate, I forgot this was a larger vehicle than what I am accustomed to so of course required more oil so I wasn't put off by this. Please note there is a surcharge for using plastic, so I was glad I had cash on me. For something as simple as an oil change, I can highly recommend East Coast Auto Service.

We signed that part because we have a warranty that would cover work but needed to be submitted prior to work being done. - Wobble when driving - - they said they pulled off the front two tires, tried to balance them, could only balance 1 - they said that we should buy two new tires, we agreed. - we later found out the shop doesn't have the ability to take tires off this size rv, they never took them off, they don't have the machine to balance new ones. No payment for this surprise. - new control arm - - we asked them to replace it as it had bad rubber on connection - they said absolutely, no problem - a week later we find out they never ordered the part, they don't have the ability to replace that part, like they don't have the ability to do the job at all in any way, no payment for this -blower- - we ask them to diagnose and let us know before ANYTHING AT ALL is done. Remember, we have a warranty that would cover this, so we were very specific about this. Signed the document to tell us if it goes above $150. - they remove one drawer, reach behind it and plug the blower motor back in as it wiggled lose. - $1,000. They charged us $1,000. They said we authorized 6 hours of work. We called the manufacturer to determine the amount of time it should have taken. They wrote out an email explaining in detail that not to just plug it back in, but to REPLACE the whole thing, is one hour of labor. The owner is a liar. The owner is an insecure 70 year old man with a failing business and health and is desperate to make a dollar. Do not go here. Do not trust them.
