Had to get an oil change while in the area, and this place was recommended to me from a local friend. I have to say getting here was quite the feat; as I am not from the area, and Industrial appeared to be a long road of auto shops, a thing I am not familiar with by any means. I was confused to enough where I called, but was greeted by a friendly employee, who said they would meet me outside to direct me where to go. Instructed to leave my keys, I was invited inside and went to the counter, where I registered everything and had a seat in their waiting area across the way. Thankfully there was a television, and some dance movie (Step Up 3 or something) was playing. Even though it was far from the beginning, I still watched since there was pretty much nothing else for me to do. A couple others were waiting for their cars, one had a laptop plugged in. Behind there were some vending machines and the restrooms; I point this out because other places where I have gotten my oil change do not have such extras so this was a good thing. Within the hour, I was out of there, and the girl working the front was super-sweet and helpful. Although I was initially quoted a lower price for the estimate, I forgot this was a larger vehicle than what I am accustomed to so of course required more oil so I wasn't put off by this. Please note there is a surcharge for using plastic, so I was glad I had cash on me. For something as simple as an oil change, I can highly recommend East Coast Auto Service. read more

Stumbled upon this place, after rescheduling at multiple dealerships/auto service centers. The lady working the front desk (Carolina? I believe?) is SO welcoming and warm, makes you feel very comfortable walking into this environment! She immediately asked me if I had a Groupon, I responded "I didn't even know! I just came here because I found you on the map!" "Okay well we will honor the Groupon!" How awesome is that?! I have high hopes for this place! I have a 2020 Mazda 3hatchback with 52k miles on it because I drive. A LOT. I needed an oil change/tire rotation, and a vehicle inspection of other things that might need changed/replaced. After picking up my car, I discovered the COOLANT LINE had been left DISCONNECTED--an act of clear NEGLIGENCE that caused the ENGINE TO OVERHEAT LEADING TO EXTENSIVE DAMAGE, including multiple leaks and other ENGINE RELATED DETERIORATION. This is NOT an isolated incident, as others have reported similar experiences. I notified the shop immediately and provided photo documentation of the damage. Despite clear evidence, they REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, dismissively claiming that a disconnected coolant line does not cause overheating--a statement that raises even MORE concern at which point they ATTEMPTED TO CHARGE ME TO FIX THE PROBLEM THEY CLEARLY CAUSED. I ultimately had to take my vehicle to a reputable shop to repair the damage at my own expense--on top of lost work time and unnecessary stress. Despite the harm they inflicted due to blatant carelessness, I'm giving them an opportunity to demonstrate integrity and make things right. I have reached out to the business to request reimbursement for the necessary repairs (~$700). If the issue is resolved appropriately, I will update this review to reflect that. read more

Julio and his team have worked on every used car that I've owned in the past. They are the only place that I trust with my vehicles because I know that they will get the job done correctly and they are very honest people. Both my parents have taken their cars here, my boyfriend, and even a few of my friends. They've all had great experiences and drove away happy. They've fixed my A/C, shock absorbers, breaks, rotors, calipers, radiator, etc. I've bought tires from here, done oil changes and other maintenance as well. They are very upfront with what's going on and show you the problem and how they will fix it. They work hard and and in a good timely manner. The staff in the front are also very kind. My boyfriend had his breaks changed amongst other things that were making his car make loud noises and he left feeling very satisfied and happy with the result. Totally sucks. Carlos and Carolina are thieves in tandem. Did not call me back, but stalled me for 2 hours and then said I owed them $240 for labor on a job that should never been started. They wanted originally to charge me $883 for the job. I solved the problem myself for a $17.23 product from Walmart, which they were aware of but still decided to stall me. Was actually looking forward to doing business with East Coast as we have multiple vehicles and they were so close to home. So upon purchasing a oil change and notifying them of the vehicle and the motor four hours later upon arrival I was told that they would not honor the Groupon and that there was no way they could provide an oil change. I proceeded to let them know that I understood that they wouldn't honor the Groupon but maybe there was another way to do about this as I was interested in doing businesses with them. " no sorry we can't" Oh well try to give small businesses a chance and even expressed my interest in doing business with them to get the oil changed as I was already there but I guess they don't work on diesel trucks. I have been going here for about 5 years now for an oil change, as they do have a good deal for like $42 for a synthetic one. My second to last oil change, I had this gut feeling that things are changing and that I should probably find somewhere else to get my oil changes. Well... I decided to not listen to my gut and went there for my last and final oil change. I purchased the package where they check your car, top off your fluids, rotate your tires, along with the synthetic oil change. When I picked up my car, I made the mistake of not checking my tires to see if they had been rotated. Come few days later, I look at my tires and realize that they haven't been rotated. I know this, as there's ZERO tire prints on my dirty wheels. I have had tires rotated before and there's always prints on them until I get my car washed... 4 tires and not one print on one tire. Then, I am driving to work and there's this smell of oil burning. At this point, I'm worried that they didn't even put oil back in and/or didn't plug it. I pull over and pop my hood and there's oil everywhere on the intake and over the engine cover. Yea, it's just spilled oil all over that's burning off. Had to deal with that smell for a week. But... The biggest kicker is that my spray for my windshield washer fluid isn't working. I thought it was because they didn't top off the liquid. Nope, they did something with the hose and now it's not spraying. Sure, it could just be a coincidence that it isn't working 2 days after I got my car back but after all of the other issues, I am going to say that it wasn't a coincidence and that they did something to mess with the hose. Don't waste your money, as these people cannot be trusted. I did call to let them know the issues I had and they said to come back in and they will look at it. What?! Hell no! They sent their tech out with me to ride around until I could get it to make the noise. Who forgets to place back the motor oil cap well East Coast Auto Service does! I went in for an oil change notice my car was making a noise when started, it continued as I drove away. When I opened the hood of the car I notice oil all over!!! Then noticed they forgot to put back the cap for the motor oil. The front desk woman drove the car out and around the block! How did this happen?? Very unsatisfied and will not be returning!! Be worn!! It was early afternoon, no rush, no excuses!!! This is very unprofessional!! I'm now left with taking the car to another mechanic to see what other mess East Coast Auto Service might have done on my car. For the money I paid, I was better off taking my car to a dealership. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not get scammed by this place! This establishment is highly unprofessional and extremely rude! If i could give less than 1 star I would. I purchased a groupon with them and after driving all the way from delray, when i arrived at the shop, they decided to add on a number of extra hidden fees. the front lady(who said she was the owner) had such a rude tone of voice to me, and spoke very nasty and completely unprofessional when I told her I already paid the groupon amount and that I shouldn't have to pay on top of that. She also assured me on the phone that they would be wearing gloves when working on my car due to the coronavirus, as I had expressed my concerns of the coronavirus being that I have a child. However when I arrived there were 5 mechanics in the front office wandering about, all with no gloves or even masks. Not one. She then waited for me to redeem my groupon and then refused to service my car even after I finally agreed to just pay all her extra fees that they were trying to scam me out of. I was completely calm when speaking with her and with credit card in hand I tried to reason with her to just charge me the extra fees, because I badly needed my car serviced and she still refused even after she saw that I could not get into contact with anyone from groupon due to there being no customer support amid the coronavirus.. and with her regularly dealing with them I believe she already knew this. She said that it was not her problem. Absolutely appaling. They are beyond unethical, and I find it truly disgusting that in a time like this with what is going on with the world, that they are so inconsiderate. You would think that this is the time for people and businesses to show their customers that they are there to help, instead of being disgracefully greedy, and treating their customers as as this shop has treated me. Even after I told them I just came all the way from delray beach, the woman was very cold with my child standing there with me. Went to get my oil changed via a groupon for $15 it was close to home an the guy seemed nice. I bring it in Wednesday morning. I go to pick up the car, we never "go over the car" like he said we would..whatever.. This was Wednesday. I walk out of Walmart on Friday morning (two days later, 48 hours to the T) and happened to notice a pretty significant dink/scratch on my door, the kind you can only get by opening the door and hitting a wall or something else with. It is pretty deep like force was behind it. I call them and they say that could have happened anywhere, I have no proof they did it, and I only came in for a $15 service now I am expecting them to fix my scratches.. I know 100% that wasn't there Monday nor did I open my door and hit anything at all, never the less that hard to cause that did of an indentation.. Do not use them. Very dissatisfied. read more

I would not recommend to ANYONE! If I could give 0 stars I would! I came here for a routine Oil Change, no big deal I've been here about 4 times. They work on my car and return it to me, I get in the car and the low pressure light comes on. I didn't think much of it because they were supposed to rotate the tires. So I figured it would go away that the car just needed to get adjusted. About 5mins after leaving I realize my car sounds weird as I made a turn. So I get out and check the tires, SURPRISE! My tire is flat. They changed my tire. When I pulled up there was nothing wrong with my tires, no lights or warnings on in my vehicle. ALL of my tires are the exact same changed at the exact same time so the tread is the same on all of them. Since they did work on my car 3 out of 4 tires have similar serial numbers EXCEPT the one that they switched out. The tread on the switched tire is significantly lower than the rest, the outside of the tire is extremely worn than the rest of my tires! I'm LIVID!!!!!!!!! My car was fine until I came to this dirty crooked scamming ass business! They try to appear as if their trustworthy by having you look at different pets on the car to show you that it's bad but they are doing mischievous things to your vehicle. When I was finally able to bring the car back they were so adamant that they didn't change the tire when clearly it's different from the rest, they didn't offer to help or rectify the problem at all they just argued that it wasn't them. They said they would let me see the camera, they showed me a far angle of my car, barely able to se wit and the guy putting oil in it but would not show me the rest of the footage where they were working on my tires! This was my first time at East Coast Auto Service. A few people in my neighborhood had recommended them saying they were professional and very honest. I could not have been happier. The mechanic I used to take my car to told me I needed new brakes and new rotors. That didn't sound right since the car was driving fine so I decided to get a second opinion. East Coast told me that my rotors were perfect and that my rear brakes were at 50% and my front brakes at 30%. They did not recommend any work although they told me I could replace the front brakes if I wanted. I decided to go ahead and replace the front brakes. The price was more than reasonable and the advice invaluable. I will only be bringing my car here from now on. read more

Today I went to East Coast Auto Service (they wonderfully repaired my car twice before and saved me a substantial amount of money). Some childish person had twisted the metal rod of my SUV's rear window wiper. So if I turned it on, the metal sides attaching the blade would scratch the window. Instead of immediately trying to replace the entire rod, the owner got some tools from the repair area and instead worked on it and straightened it out, once again saving me money and more aggravation. I have been so very, very fortunate to have found East Coast (and the staff is wonderfully friendly, patient and helpful). I continue to HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. By the way, in my almost 50 years of driving (and living in several different U.S. states), East Coast Auto Service is the BEST auto service shop I have ever had work on a car. Ever! This is the second time I have used these folks. The first time I needed a big tune-up (my fault for neglecting my car) and it cost some big bucks. 2 months later my engine light came one again and I immediately took to them. Turns out to be (maybe) a different problem with catalytic converter. They were looking at different ways to approach problem to save me money when they realized the light was coming on and off - meaning it probably wasn't a big problem anyway. Their solutions: to drive my car 45-50 miles at high speed and blow gunk out of cat. converter. If light comes back on - bring it back. Charge - ZERO. Works for me. i took my truck in for a starter replacement and when i got it back the fan only worked on high. i told them but they didnt fix it. so i went to fix it myself and found the relay unplugged. then they said i needed to replace the flywheel but when i got it back the steering was making a lot of noise. they say theres nothing wrong with it but everymorning i listen to it whine like crazy. its a terrible feeling when you cant get your car fixed because your afraid they will tear somethin up. read more
