Happened upon this place while we were in the area and decided to bring back a box of cookies for the family. We ordered the double chocolate (absolutely delicious), chocolate chip (which in my opinion needs more chocolate chips, but the cookie itself was good), oatmeal chocolate chip (again, good flavor but more chips are needed) and the strawberry poptart (which was also amazing). If you put them in the microwave for like 15 seconds, it's perfection. By far our favorite chain cookie, and sad that it isn't near our home. The service was good, she was friendly and even let us know that if we want to wait a few minutes she would fill our box with cookies fresh out of the oven. The establishment is cute- very small inside, and only 2 tables, but super cute. If we were ever in the area again we would definitely stop by. If you've had crumbl, I would say they are similar only 100x better (IMO). read more

Consistent well made cookies!! Every time I come in whether I get the chocolate chip cookie or try a different one it's always good. They are not raw in the middle like some other cookie places I've been to. Personally think this place is better than Crumbl and Crave! Lady who was at the register was nice too. read more

I had heard about Chunk Cookies from a neighbor and being the newly cookie obsessed person I now am, I knew I needed to venture into Gilbert to see (taste) for myself. I ordered a pickup for three boxes of four through Door Dash and was able to easily redeem my promo code through this order as well. You can choose from about 8-10 different flavors that rotate weekly. We had chocolate chip, sweet and salty, fruity pebbles, biscoff, funfetti, and chunkerdoodle. The best, IMO, was sweet and salty. I gobbled that thing up warm and I DIDN'T share! As for the cookies: simply delicious and mouth watering, especially as they are served warm and sort of break apart/ melt in your mouth. As my mother in law would say "this cookie is pregnant with another cookie!" I would return here in a heartbeat. We kept a box for ourselves, gave on to our neighbors, and one to my in laws for their wedding anniversary. They were a hit with everyone. YUCK!!!! Never have i ever experienced a worse bakery experience. Chunk Cookies is a cheap knockoff of Rise Up Bakery. Chunk's staff is rude and the food is mediocre at best. If you want to get fresh baked goods at a bakery not owned by slimeballs, I'd drive a couple minutes down the road to Rise Up. I don't plan on ever going back. read more

Out of this world soft, fresh and warm cookies that will take your day from good to amazing. Original chocolate chip is the perfect blend of ooey gooey(middle) and crumbly(edges). Start here and you'll be hooked. Biscoff-easily is the running for best cookie here, but again, it's a tough race with so many great options. Definitely a MUST try-and is always in our box every visit ! Chunkerdoodle with cinnamon sugar icing/filling is absolute perfection. TO DIE FOR. Oreo, sweet and salty, etc---all a must in your Chunk box. Only $11(!?!) for a box of 4 monster size(shareable) cookies is a steal compared to other cookie joints. Wonderful, giant, delicious and warm cookies! I loved Sweet Tooth Fairy and was so sad when it went away, but this is a worthy replacement. I tried a chocolate chip, Oreo, and sugar cookie. They were all great! The Oreo one was probably my favorite, I loved the cream stuffing on the inside. It's a good thing I don't live close to here, as I'd be getting cookies weekly and turning into a chunk myself. read more

Needed a little sugar pick me up and found this spot that offers their own delivery and definitely was not disappointed. We ordered the chocolate chip, PB, brookie, and chunkerdoodle variety pack and all were pretty good but the chocolate chip was AMAZING! As per the name, the cookies are thick and chunky but not cakey or dry and just the perfect amount of underdone. There is something a tad confusing about the online delivery process though, in that you pick a half hour slot for a delivery time but there's no ASAP option. So I had to choose a slot about an hour and a half out, but the delivery driver was at my door within half an hour! Just something to keep in mind when ordering. read more

Bought the four pack! Oatmeal is yummy! Snickerdoodle has a cinnamon cream filling, chocolate chip is way different then crumble not as sweet, crumble's is too sweet. The pumpkin cookie with cream frosting is to die for! Really shouldn't put these many cookies in my reach! Ok here comes the sugar rush!!! Absolutely loved the selection and the creativity behind the brand. These are wonderful tasting and the pumpkin cookie was perfect for the fall season! Still need to watch that figure! It's hard not to compare Chunk Cookies to Crumbl since the concept is very similar and I can tell you these cookies are a million percent better than Crumbl. I tried the Chocolate chip, sugar cookie, and cinnamon roll and I'm amazed by how much better they are. You can tell the quality is much better, both in the recipes and probably ingredients as well. They taste like homemade cookies unlike Crumbl where the majority of their cookies taste off if not awful. And I've tried a lot of Crumbl cookies because they're brought to my work pretty regularly and I'll cut a piece off a flavor I've never tried before and I've never enjoyed a single one. I love that the sugar cookie at Chunk Cookies has a much more natural tasting frosting and that they use semisweet chocolate chips in the Chocolate chip cookie (whereas Crumbl uses milk chocolate and doesn't even put vanilla in their chocolate chip cookie). And the special cinnamon roll cookie was amazing and packed a good amount of cinnamon flavor which I love. These are probably the best cookies I've ever had and I'm very glad they're giving Crumbl competition because Crumbl has been riding on mediocrity since their inception. read more

These cookies are just okay. The initial flavor is really good with strong vanilla coming through, but the problem is that the cookies are just way too sweet. I can eat an entire chocolate chip Crumbl cookie, but I could only eat 1/4 of a Chunk cookie due to the excessive sugar load. The cookie literally had undisolved granular sugar in it, which is not an appealing texture. The cookies are also rather dry and I have a feeling they use vegetable oil instead of butter, but I could be wrong about that since I didn't confirm. It's worth a try to decide if you like it for yourself, but it wasn't my type of cookie. I forgot to take a photo, but they look like really tall cookies, and are similar in appearance and taste to Dirty Dough cookies in Tempe. read more

Went there for the first time and wasn't a fan. I order 4 cookies (2 chocolate chips and 2 pink velvets). They were both doughy inside and the frosting on the pink velvet cookies were thick a d flavorless. It tasted like Elmer's glue and I couldn't even finish after one teeny bite. Tried giving the rest of the box to my family and they didn't want it either. I threw away $16. read more

Literally the best chocolate chip cookies ever. Their cookies are crispy on the edge but have soft melt in your mouth centers. The portions are huge but don't share...just buy your own cookie, eat all of it, then go to the gym and work it off...it's worth it read more

Just bought a 4 pack yesterday, 09-14-2023 and 3 of them were chocolate chip cookies. The chocolate chip cookies barely had any chocolate chip in them. They were mostly regular dough. Very horrible. Don't want to go back. Spent over $15 something for mostly dough. read more

My family and I were walking around the area and decided to try Chunk cookies! The shop itself was very clean, warm, and inviting and the employees were very helpful. Our cookies were HUGE and worth the money in size. I thought the cookies were good-but they were almost a little too sweet and too much for me. Very very thick and fast cookies, very similar to crumbl. They deliver to you and it's only $3. So not bad at all, the only problem is that I live in south chandler.. so they only delivery to gilbert zip codes. I had to order it to my cousins house 6 minutes away and pick it up from the delivery person there. Mind you, the driver actually had to pass my house in south chandler to get to the gilbert address. The cookies are good, price for cookies isn't horrific until you add in delivery and tip. Then it gets scary read more

I opted to warm it up a bit, it was a bit better but then it just started feeling too sweet so I wasn't interested anymore. the cinnamon roll breading lacked flavor, but the cream on top was good. But again the bread dough just felt stale. It was a Sunday in the AM that we went. Not busy at all. Since it's a part of an apartment, parking is a little awkward and can feel tight. You could easily not notice the place and mistake it for being closed. It's right off of the round about. (the wind had blew over the open sign and the open sign wasn't lit) Service is okay, nice enough. Not really warm. Seating is ample and is cozy to sit and read or catch up with a friend.

Now, for tasty pan dulce try panaderia los jarochos in Phx. The conchitas here will last you days soft and moist. Granted, They have limited selection BUT I think that's why the quality is better.
