I don't know when I coming back to this place but I love all the crazy style of pizza they have. I got the Irish Pizza. It had potatoes, bacon, & white cheese. My friend was nice enough to share this with me. It was fabulous. I love their chef salad. The style of lettuce was delicious. It was that terrible iceberg saladZ Theo place use a nice salad mix. We order to go and the staff seem to be nice. This is a family run business and apparently my old boss used to grow up with this family. The only reason why I knew about this place was due to my co-worker. She lives around the corner from this place.

However, the pizza itself lacked sauce, as it was mainly piled toward the crust. The cheese was greasy and a little salty, but it had a decent flavor. The crust had good crunch and chew with a solid undercarriage. Although it had some flop, it had a good taste overall.

I was looking for a good chicken cutlet sandwich at the place I wanted to go to as closed. I read the reviews and decided to try chunky tomato and it was the best choice I've made in a long time! First and foremost the sandwich is massive. You really only need a half or your meal, but it was delicious. I had a chicken cutlet with caramelized onion, roasted red peppers, and provolone. It was cooked really well the bread was very fresh and it was a huge portion. I will definitely be coming back.

We ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza and added bacon. A plum meatball and chicken parm sandwich. As well as a personal meatball calzone. All items were very good, the pizza was excellent. There are a lot of pizza places in Bristol. All of relatively the same. This one is a bit different in that it's a thinner crust pizza with some more creative pizza styles. I would certainly take out from here again next time we are looking to order pizza. If you're into buffalo chicken pizza, get it and add bacon. It really was excellent. Very impressed. read more

Really good pizza...one of the best in Bristol. Their sauce is very tasty and they put on just the right amount, their cheese is also just the right amount...big pieces, yummy crust. They have a nice variety of options too...I liked their white pizza with ricotta the best...my daughter who hates tomato based sauces also enjoyed this one. I also liked their veggie chicken...they did not skimp on the veggies and the chicken chunks were delish. I would totally want to order from this place again...maybe try some of their other menu items! read more

We get pizza here about once a month. Every time the pizza tastes great. There are lots if pizza options in route 6. Some are very good. For my money Chunky Tomato is the best. Don't just order cheese. There specialty pizzas are great. read more

There pizza is gas and there grinders/ sandwiches are also very good. The one thing that I don't like is that it has a lot of grease but you can easily put a napkin on the pizza and then it's perfect. read more

The BEST pizza in the history of LIFE. The only place that can compete with Chunky Tomato is Frank Pepe's. It is so extremely delicious. Order a large pepperoni pizza-- the pepperoni's are little and crispy and there's lots of em. There is only room for like 2-3 ppl to eat in this little place. You have to take it home. It is so worth it. This is one of those local places you have to ask to know about. Get this pizza. You're welcome. Nom Nom. read more

My family and friends are so glad you are open! We ordered a lot of pizza on New Years Eve; which has to be a very busy night. The pizzas were perfect. Easily the best pizza in town. Wish they delivered, but nobody is perfect. Love the sauce, you can really tell how fresh it is. The staff is very friendly, although the few times I have countered the owner, he has been a bit snippy and rude, so I can only give the review 3 stars. I've ordered from this pizza place in the past...I've found the pizza to be just ok...Has usually been a thin crust and a bit overcooked but not too bad...Tonight I ordered a large cheese and large pepperoni...I wore a mask because of the Covid rules and as I walked in I immediately got yelled at "One person at a time please!" I took notice right away that nobody working in there were wearing masks at all...I went outside and waited until the one customer came out and when I went back in, the guy behind the counter brought out the 2 pizzas...He opened the boxes and I couldn't believe what they were trying to sell me...The crust on the plain pizza was burnt black all on the one side and the pizza was deformed and smaller than a large...The pepperoni was also burnt black a bit on the one side...I stood there shocked, not knowing what to say and I asked why they were burnt...He asked me if I wanted them to re-make them and I told him I would be back...I talked to the friend I was with and we decided that this was just a bad experience and we needed to just go somewhere else...I didn't like the attitude, the burnt food and nobody wearing masks...I get it that people like this are having to work through the pandemic, but you should still care about your job and not try to sell people burnt food, have an attitude and not wear a mask. read more

I can't begin to tell you how let down I am. I have been to this place a bunch of times and have loved the pizza and stromboli's in the past but I haven't been in quite a long time now. One day I was in the mood for one of their stromboli's. Ham, pepperoni and salami. I cut into it and water just flowed out of this thing. The tomato sauce, their signature thing, was terrible! It resembled a sort of vodka sauce. It was bland and watery. I'm really surprised to see this once great place fall to the wayside like this. I hope maybe Mike sees my review and takes some appropriate steps to bring back the quality he once had. read more

Mike Vita is a life-long resident of Bristol. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has worked in the food business his entire life. They use quality products. They give you large portions. The staff is nice. I would therefore overall give them 3 out of 5 stars. Hopefully they correct this very basic issue fairly soon before the health department pays its visit.

We were suspicious when there was only 1 car in the parking lot and weren't sure it was even open, my friend got out and tried the door, which was unlocked, at the moment another car parked and the folks went in, we followed. Our food was brought to us and looked quite good, it wasn't, with the exception of the fries. The meat in the gyro had a very greasy feel and didn't taste good, neither of us finished . The cook?, never asked us how anything was and on the way out I asked about the terrible smell and he replied "what smell?" Never again.

A must try ! Service is always good we have always been able to get a seat and the staff always super friendly . Great service , They got us seated , ordered , served and out the door in about an 1hour . Overall 5/5 again great food , great service and great ambiance the whole place is always decorated and I loved the added lights over the ceiling !

Very basic, bland, no spice, really no cumin or any type of spices on the meat itself. It came with salsa and sour cream instead of dressing. I feel the need to leave this review here now just in case I forget to leave a actual proper long review. This is our third time, a humble looking joint so we come here always just expecting it's going to be " meh". But we keep coming back, collecting calories around our waist because everything is so good here! Service - always awesome. Everyone here looks like they work cohesively, everyone is smiling working hard . Coffees always refilled. Food- fantastic, always fresh, on point. This time I got an omelette with tomatoes and this is the first time I had an omelet where the tomatoes don't get mushy. Their hash browns are also amazing! ... while we like the shredded we LOVE the fried- like mini French fries. While all of their proteins are awesome - their turkey bacon deserves a special shout out because it often misses the mark at most places.. but not here . We had a group of 6 so had a 20 minute wait, not sure if they take reservations. If we had a smaller group I think we would have been sat quicker. Sunday mornings they only serve breakfast. Lots of great choices on the menu. Everyone enjoyed what they'd gotten. Prices were somewhat inexpensive and they had some interesting options I'd like to have in the future. Absolutely will come back.

I did find parking on a side street near the cafe so that was good. Our server was so nice and attentive. Even offering recommendations when we were clearly undeceive about what we wanted. Food was delicious and filling. Also, gotta love when your server checks in and makes sure your cup of coffee is always full. The cafe itself feels like many of the other no-nonsense breakfast places locally--clean, but nothing fancy in decor. However, they offered fabulous customer service and great food. I ordered the friend ice cream waffle and it was the perfect treat. My friend had an omelet with home fries and also raved about her selection. The best part? All this good food was very reasonably priced. I have a feeling this will become one of our regular stops in the future.

Chunky Tomato has the best pizza in Bristol without a doubt. The quality of ingredients at Chunky Tomato are never lacking, and it shows in everything I've ordered there. The best pizza to try has to be the "buffalo - barbeque", if you have never had it, you're missing out! The wings are also high quality every time. I can tell that the owner makes sure they're ordering from the right venders when it comes to the chicken. I've never had a wing here that I was disappointed with! The tenders are also good too, I get them sauced. Great subs as well the ham is always quality, the sandwiches are made fresh with great bread and fresh ingredients. Almost forgot to mention the stromboli, it's one of my favorite things they have on the menu! Their buffalo chicken stromboli is delicious. I am always excited when a new restaurant opens in my town, especially when it adds diversity to our choices. My review refers to takeout, we have not dined-in yet. Sushi was fresh and tasted great...excited to try some of their signature rolls. Items are reasonably priced and meal was prepared quickly. We also tried the miso soup and their salad. Had to fight the heavy door to get into the place. No greetings. Just gave me the pizza and that was it. No thank you, nothing. Pizza was supposed to be thick crust. When I got home & opened the box it looked thin but it was actually burnt. The crust was burnt and tough. So for an over $30 pizza I give it 1 star. Everything sucked! read more

I live in a rural area in PA and my food choices are limited. I think that this place is one of those situations too. If people love it here they do not have better options. So if you're hungry go because there probably aren't better rated restaurants in the area. read more
