The biscuit is even bigger than the chicken.

Omg.. what happened to the chicken.. sooo small! This is not the church's chicken I know. And they're being so stingy on honey now. I asked for more and gave me 1 more honey. So total I only have 2 honey packets.. geez. But the price is getting high.

I order pies with frosting on top charged me alot and still didn't get what iwanted they where all busy arguing and talking bad service

I order with frosting I payed a lot and still didn't get what iwanted they where busy arguing talking so much didn't even pay attention to customers or the food bad place I don't recommend you we'll regret it!!

3 pc combo with Honey Mustard dipping sauce, cole slaw, biscuit and drink (not showing)

My son and I were in Modesto, CA yesterday and I told him that we were going to try out the new Church's Chicken on Standiford Road, Modesto Let me tell you what, the chicken tenders were good sized, tasty and hot. The coleslaw was delicious! The honey butter biscuit was also delicious. The food is a little expensive but if there's everything correct about the order, then the money is well spent. Brought back memories of getting Church's Chicken in Seaside, CA. We will be returning to the Modesto Church's Chicken soon...

Asked for legs and thighs and for breasts instead. Did not order breasts.

I love church's but my order tonight, I am so disappointed in the service and that once I got home, I wasn't even given biscuits that were a part of my order. The restaurant part was closed and I ordered through a pick up window even though business hours were opened for another hour. Ordered a simple 8 piece leg and thigh family meal with one side. 4 biscuits were a part of this meal but was not in my box once I got home and received a mixed instead of just legs and thighs. Chicken was also cold like it was sitting there for a while. I asked for hot sauce and the lady at the window shows me an empty metal tray when I clearly see sauce packets on the other side. She was just lazy to turn around to grab any. She just pushed the bag towards me and said everything is there and they are out of sauce. I've never felt more scammed by a business. How does one even call to get a refund for my missing items? Once home I was so disappointed that biscuits were not in there, chicken was cold and wasn't what I had ordered. What happen to quality checks? How can they forget biscuits out of a family meal. I am really frustrated and I have no better words for lack of service I got there tonight.

I started with an Old Fashioned drink, which was solid - strong enough to pack a little punch but still taste good. We ordered a few appetizers - the Korean Beef Frachos were especially good and the Brussel sprouts were very solid. With so many appetizers, I went with a Caesar salad and two soft tacos (shrimp and fish). The Caesar salad was good and healthy sized, so I could share with others. It was a typical, but good, Caesar which didn't have anything fancy about it (no anchovies, egg yolk, etc), but nothing was really lacking either. Both soft/street tacos were good, respectable in size and very tasty. Other people in our party got burgers, goat cheese salad, chicken sandwiches, and everyone seemed very happy with their meals. Service was friendly and casual. Our server was the one who really recommenced the Frachos, which was a great call. I've been to Eurekas before and always been satisfied. I'd probably rate the typical location a 4-star experience, but this one seemed extra friendly and the food I enjoyed more than I expected, so a solid 5 star experience in my book.

Some of us had been to different Eureka! locations in Northern California and suggested to check this one, which was just across the parking lot from BJ's, out. I was glad we did. Not only was there no wait, they had a very chill covered outdoor patio as well. Their indoor area had more of a sports bar feel, which was cool, too. Staff were super friendly; our server told us about their loyalty program, and gave us some great recommendations on food and drinks. We're early enough to order quite a few things off the "Hoppy Hour" menu. I had the Wild Child cocktail, which had a pretty color, and was quite yummy. We shared 3 appetizers: Truffle Cheese Fries, Crispy Glazed Brussel Sprouts, Korean Beef Frachos. All 3 were delicious, and our favorite was the beef frachos, which was like an upgraded nachos, with very flavorful/tender ribeye steak pieces and mildly spicy seasonings with cheese over crispy potato wedges. It's truly the bomb! For my entree, I had the Al Pastor Fish Taco and the Blackened Shrimp Taco. Both were scrumptious, especially the shrimp one. My husband gave me some of his Caesar Salad, which was fresh and quite good. My sister-in-law shared some of her Napa Chicken Sandwich with me; it was delightful. Our daughter had the Goat Cheese Citrus Salad with added chicken and no pecans. She enjoyed it but said the amount of chicken she got wasn't worth the additional charge. Overall, we all enjoyed our food and had a great time. With the happy hour deals, I thought their prices were very reasonable. Would definitely consider coming here again for our next gathering.

Order my baby grilled change chicken bowl. Portion was waaay too big for her so we put half aside to take home . The other half she devoured all the chicken and left the veggies and rice lol For my fiancé we ordered: buffalo chicken nuggets. We loved this! Nuggets were crispy and came out piping hot. Chicken shawarma salad, this was ok . I was expecting this check to have a different flavor. For me, the taste of the flavor on the chicken didn't really compliment the salad, and the dressing very well. It wasn't bad it just was not to my liking and probably would not order this salad again :/ Fiancé ordered the bbq bacon ranch bacon burger. He ordered the pattie medium and came out perfectly cooked. Service was great, our server was super friendly and attentive. I forgot that one of the reasons we don't frequent here is because of the strict rules for dogs on the patio. No dogs on your lap, which my dog was not having. She always sits on our lap at every restaurant we go to with the patio. So I ended up having to put her in my purse, and the purse was on my lap. Aside from this our visit was lovely otherwise.

But it can be very busy trying to find a spot depending on what time you go! The dining room was very busy. There were TVs on at that bar for anyone trying to watch a game. Service was friendly. Their menu was huge! There really is something for everyone. The kid's meal was also very reasonable priced for how much food they got. All of the dishes that the family ordered were really good. And I especially enjoyed my tacos.

The place comfy, the ambience is dark and bar-like, the drink vibes look chill, I have no complaints about the service. The service was good and the staff was nice. All this makes the steak disappointment that much worse for me. We ordered Ribeye and Shrimp Salmon Lobster Mac and Cheese Asparagus Lobster Roll (Sushi) A drink from the bar The Steak.. The steak came served on a cast-iron skillet. I ordered it medium-well. It arrived a little more medium than usual, but that was not an issue. What disappointed me was the puddle the steak was sitting in. Traditionally said puddle is a mixture of butter, thyme, and whatever seasonings you used on the steak when cooking it. In this case, that puddle was flavorless. It really tasted like the steak was just sitting in a flavorless oil. The steak was very bland, very difficult to think someone could send out a piece of meat out like that, especially when you find out what it costs. It was not worth it and not worth the final tab unfortunately. Really wanted to find a steak W for Downey but I don't see myself being interested in this place again.
