This is the best fried chicken in Buffalo. There is nothing else close. Don't waste your time. Go get this chicken on Delaware Avenue.

Upon walking in, the place was neat and clean, and I was waited on immediately at the front counter. I was ordering my food to go, so I opted for their special $1 Wing deal, and ordered the 24 pack. I got my choice of two sauces. One was a garlic soy sauce and the other was a sweet and savory which had a little bit of heat to it. It. I asked for them extra crispy, and they came out delivered in a bucket. While I was waiting for my wings, they were celebrating the manager's birthday in the back by singing happy birthday. I joined in, and yelled happy birthday through the window. They offered me a piece of cake to take home, so of course I absolutely took it. It's really nice when people include you in their little celebrations even if they didn't have to. The chicken itself was really tasty and very moist. It wasn't all that crunchy, because of the sauce that was put on, but it was still very flavorful nonetheless Bottom line? I would absolutely come back to this restaurant again, to try some of their regular bone-in chicken. You would do yourself a favor and check them out.

There's plenty of tables if you're looking to dine in. The menu is quite unique, categorized by burgers, wings, fish & chips, and some snack bites. I went with the Yang Nyum burger w/ fries and 1 pound of wings. For the wings, I went with the honey garlic flavour which is extra $2 for sauce. The owner came over and mentioned that the sauce for Yang Nyum burger is his own recipe which tasted good, but it's not the traditional Korean sweet and spicy flavour, though it had great heat to it. The chicken itself was hand beated which made it taste tender, but oh man, the fries were so crispy and addicting. The chicken wings were quite large and battered well. Definitely very saucy which I like, but did taste a bit saltier than I like. Service was super friendly and the food was brought to us. We elected for take out as we knew we weren't going to finish. The owner came over a few times to ask us how the food was and we had a nice conversation. Overall I really enjoyed the food and the place was comfortable to dine in. It isn't too far from the Falls, so show some love for this local family owned restaurant the next time you're in Niagara! I surely will be coming back.

What a fun place to check out! I was looking for someplace different, when this stumbled across my…read morefeed. So I decided to go check out the blind pig. Pretty easy to find, you can't miss the rustic looking exterior with the blind pig in huge letters on top. There's a decent amount of parking, but I'll bet when this place gets busy it's tougher to find a spot. When you walk inside, the interior is very well kept and has a rustic bar-like feel to it, plenty of bar and high top seating as well as booths. I decided to order an iced tea. Something I've noticed about Canada, iced tea is usually a sweetened drink. Not like iced tea you get in the states. So just be aware of that if you're looking to get some iced tea. Regardless, it was very tasty and hit the spot perfectly. One thing I like about this place is they have a bunch of different specials throughout the week, the day I went the special was the brisket sandwich and side salad for $13.99 Canadian. I upgraded to the Caesar salad, and also ordered a side of KFC, or Korean fried Chicken for those of you in the know. Let me tell you something about that. KFC, absolutely delicious! How can you go wrong with fried chicken thighs with Korean BBQ sauce? You can't, that's what I'm telling you! The brisket sandwich was really really good, albeit just a tad dry. But I'm not deducting any points for that. It was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Service was great, friendly staff, and everything came out as expected. Bottom line? I will definitely be back for that brisket sandwich. They also had some other specials so I guess I'm going to need to spend an entire week here and just eat my life away at the blind pig.
