While I was enjoying my time at the establishment, the manager approached me and complained that I was "staring" at her. I found this accusation to be completely uncalled for and unprofessional. As a customer sitting directly at the bar, my line of sight naturally falls on the service area in front of me where staff are working. If a member of your management team does not wish to be looked at or be within a customer's field of vision while they are serving patrons, they should not be standing directly in front of the bar seating area. It is entirely unreasonable to expect a customer to awkwardly avert their eyes just because a staff member happens to be standing in their direct line of sight. I am incredibly disappointed by how I was treated. Instead of making customers feel comfortable, this manager's defensive attitude and unnecessary confrontation created a hostile and awkward environment. I expect your management staff to handle themselves with a higher level of professionalism and common sense. I hope this matter is addressed internally so future patrons do not have to deal with similar absurd accusations. I look forward to your response regarding how this situation will be handled.
