I love a good Brazilian steakhouse! This one has a great buffet to accompany all the proteins. For the price-point, its an immediate 5 for me but I would have liked to see more "filet mignon" and "ribeye" being handed out. Great staff and service. The drink cart is amazing too. I've been looking for a really good Buffet in Orange County with zero success and I was so surprised I finally found a glorious place like this just across the border!! WOW!!! The service was excellent. Their covid 19 measures make you feel very safe. Upon entry, your temperature is taken and you must use sanitizer. When going in line to get food or desserts from the salad bar, an employee gives you a glove. Your hand that is gloved must be used to touch the serving utensils when getting food. After you exit, there is a trash bin for the used gloves. You are asked what type of cuts you want, so they can bring it out. The server does not need for you to ask for a refill on your beverage. Hands down the best brazilian restaurant myself or my wife have ever ate at! The quality, flavor and price blow any restaurant from the US out of the water. Usually I feel most brazilian restaurants don't add much flavor to any of their cuts of meat but each time they brought something over to us our eyes lit up because of how flavorful everything was. I truly think their salad and dessert bar are top notch. There is SO much to choose from that it compliments the meat even more! Pro tip: look up at the dessert bar because there are toppings you can add to your pastries. Luckily I was watching others and saw them doing this otherwise I wouldn't have known I could add caramel or lechera to my pastry! Price - UNBELIEVABLE! it was around $20/pp! I have been to Brazilian steak houses in Argentina, Brazil, and the United States, this was my first time in Mexico. The ambiance is slightly upscale compared to other local restaurants, it's clean, and the wait staff is cordial and polite although they weren't very attentive in offering and serving the various selections of meats. The food is OK, the salad bar had a variety of selections but lacked taste or wasn't appealing. The primary food is meat, there wasn't a variety as stated (30) the limited selections were a bit salty and one cut had excess mustard, we were seated near the children's playroom which is an excellent service they offer and very safe with two attendants, but the time in between waiters offering the selections of cuts of meats. I awarded this restaurant 3 stars because it was described as an excellent upscale steak house but other restaurants have great food but may not have the ambiance. read more

Hands down the best churrascaria I've been to and i have been to plenty. Private parking lot makes it really easy to get to. Right next to a busy intersection so there is always something to see outside. Customer service was perfect just like the selection of food and the quality of meats. The meats were cooked just like we asked. Not close to....exactly as ordered with no complaints. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. The price is an excellent value. The service here sucks! They made us wait 2+hours just to be seated. Reason being is because we were waiting for a big table to sit together for bday celebration. We had arrived before others and reserved a spot and noticed they were letting others before us. They had told us that it was because our group was big and those tables weren't ready. However, when we were about to be seated they split us up because due to Covid a group was not allowed. Why didn't they tell us this before!? I have no idea but it definitely would have gotten us to be seated faster. When we addressed our concerns, the service got worse and the experience was just sad. It's all hyped up but the food isn't worth the hype. There was 1 or 2 meats that were great but for the most part the rest were dry and not up to my expectations. The pricing isn't bad so I guess it's you get what you paid for. I originally discovered the location on AguaCalientes, but then this one is more convenient to my hotel (it's a brisk 25 minutes walk from Hotel Ticuan) - as Churrascaria do Brazil is known for, it has an exemplary salad bar/buffet, and the great assortment of meats and other cuts (the BBQ pineapple is to die for). Good and attentive staff. Hint: you can request your meat to your liking (some people complain that all meat is well done - you can request 'rare' and they will bring it to you that. Like everything in life - you need to ask for it). Highly recommended. This location has an ample parking lot and provides valet parking. read more

I am in love with this place! The quality of the food and service for the price you pay is unreal. In dollars, the prices range from about $18.50 for men, $18 for women, and $10.25 for kids, depending on their height. You get unlimited cuts of meat and access to their all-you-can-eat salad, sides, entree and dessert buffet. My favorites were the tomahawk steak (perfectly tender and medium rare in the center) and the pollo con queso. You absolutely cannot pass on the piña mascabada: cinnamon crusted pineapple roasted on a spit. My tip would be to try a small amount of all the meats, find out what you like, and then ask for more of that item. You could also skip filling up on the salad/sides if you really want to get your money's worth with the meats. The waiters will continue to offer you different meats, chicken, seafood and pork until you turn over the wooden disc so the red side is showing but by the time that happens you'll probably have to be rolled out the door. read more

Wow, this place was so worth it, all you can meat! 50 choices of meats at your your table-side, fresh salad bar with plenty of choices , everything from pasta to clam chowder soups , to fresh ceviche , fresh guacamole, fresh everything . So the waiter comes out after promptly being sat by the check in staff, he gives you a green on one side, red on the other side wood puck and when you want some meat, the guy with the meat stops on green and doesn't on red. The choices of meat are plentiful and the quality of meat is superb, everything was full of flavor, juicy, tender meat, the service was prompt and professional, very attentive, very friendly , the bill at the end was ridiculously cheap, we had 3 adults and 1 child on our bill with three soda drinks and four beers and the total was only 71.00 dollars, without tip but that's absolutely crazy cheap, I couldn't have dinner at Pizza Hut for that much. This place is right across from plaza rio Tijuana, very nice place , very clean, very safe, clean restrooms and all, valet parking also. Do me a favor and check it out . Went to the Rio Plaza location with a friend Sunday night 6 PM. The huge place has been cleared out with tables 6 feet apart, including 5 tables in the veranda looking out to the V Monument. It looked empty with about 30 diners, about 1/5 normal Sunday crowd PreCoVid, including a few large families with children. The salad bar is small and had been roped off, served by attendants. There were not many good ingredients and most plates were empty. There were the popular cuts of grilled meats but servings were not as frequent as before. The beef is definite spoiled. I can smell rotting meat odors and taste the sour taste of spoiled meats. The meats did not smell fresh or sweet tasting like fresh meats. Beers were 45 pesos or $2, very nice on hot days. The decline in quality may be due to a much reduced volume of diners. I was disappointed. Will try Mr. Pampas to see if they are doing better. Like in all Mexico's churrascarias, you have to tell the servers which cuts you want and how to grill it. I like my beef medium rare, "Medio raro." read more

Today we celebrate my sister-n-laws birthday and she chose Churrascaria Do Brasil Zona Río. One of these Brazilian all-you-can-eat-meats places like Pampas or Fogo de Chão. It's a nice place. Some of the highlights are the salad bar. Which is huge and has some things others don't, such as Tamalitos, Birria, Pizza, Rolled Tacos. Everyone liked the meats The parking is good but a bit if challenge arriving for a 2pm reservation on a Sunday. Typical routes which get you there quick were blocked by ‍TJ police and their favorite traffic control tool; Caution Tape. A few things to consider if you go: Ask to sit inside where there's A/C. It was kinda hot outside today 9/25/22. There are no ceiling fans. Although the glass wall is half high, it allows for all the street noise and house flys to come in. (Lots of flies). If you order water and a glass of ice, you may go unnoticed for refills like me. Maybe next time I'll bring my Thermo Flask. Interestingly, you need to let your table manager know who's eating only salad bar and who wants Meats. I heard they may not believe you if you didn't first say so.
