    Poke Salmon Crispy Rice Sandwich
    Sara H.

Located in South Coast Plaza level 1, Bloomingdale's wing. They sell desserts and drinks, but I noticed that they were offering crispy rice sandwiches too. Tried their Avocado Crispy Rice Toast and Poke Salmon Crispy Rice Sandwich. It took a while to get our order, but we were excited to try them. The crispy rice was enjoyable, but I wish they added more salmon/avocado as it was not proportionate to the crispy rice. Not worth the price. One and done.

Biscoff iced latte I think it comes with one shot but I asked for 3 and it still was perfectly sweet and coffee forward

Biscoff latte with 3 shots and oat milk was fire. I added oat milk and two more shots of espresso.

    Gourmet Churro

This is a walk-up churro place located inside a food court. I ordered one of the Brazilian pies for the cheese pull. It literally says it has cheese pull. I was excited and should have known better. It was a gimmick. IT was one of the weakest cheese pulls I've ever seen. So weak. There was no pull lol Don't advertise something as a cheese pull when it isn't. The Brazilian Pie was 2/10 for me. Trash. The pie itself crumbled and made a mess while trying to do the cheese pull. Gourmet Churro 10/10 This is the reason why I gave it 4 stars. The churro was amazing! It was moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside and the caramel filling was delicious! I also got Oreo cookie crumbles on top and white chocolate drizzle. It was one of the best churros I've had. At least they got the churros right lol Service was slow. I had to wait 30 minutes for a tiny churro and stupid Brazilian pie. They need more staff making the food. It's a casual place, you walk-up and order, then sit around and wait forever for your churro. Just be prepared to wait awhile. Or order and go walk around the mall.

Eh, idk that this was worth it. I was craving a little cinnamon sugar treatsy and Churriño caught my eye. After checking out the options (there are many) I decided on a single churro to satisfy my sweet tooth. To their credit, it was fried fresh to order which I loved! And, it was quite tasty. But... $5 for a single tiny churro? Idk. Didn't seem worth it to me. I think there are many other spots to get hot and fresh churros for less money.

Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Sandwich - pass
    Brian M.

I should have figured from the business name that churros were their specialty and not a poke sandwich, but I was hungry and the pictures looked good. We tried the spicy tuna crispy rice sandwich and the salmon poke crispy rice sandwich. Please understand that they take 15 minutes to make so be patient. I was hoping that the spicy tuna would be like the ones you get at a sushi restaurant - nope - it was more like cooked tuna. Think sushi patty melt. Hard pass. The salmon poke crispy rice sandwich was much better. It still will not live up to your expectations but if you need a snack and cannot wait for one of the other food places, then this is workable. Next time, I will just do the churros but I give them lots of credit for trying with these sandwiches. I love the concept but I don't think they have perfected the taste. I might be willing to try another one, but not the tuna.

First time here and this place gets busy! The staff is friendly, and the desserts were good. Ordered the Dubai Churro cups and ice cream. Flavor is on point.

A great place to get some churros. The churros are hot and so good with the chocolate sauce! The service is super friendly. Since we weren't sure what to order, the guy who took our order told us what was the best deal according to what we are looking for. We really appreciate that! The churros are a Brazilian churros where the inside is really soft. It's also vegan friendly!

Tip: Make sure you check in on Yelp for 10% off your entire purchase! Ambiance/Environment: This spot is located inside Bloomingdale's hidden food court. It's a very cute area located on the first floor. Seating can be tricky on the weekends. Service: There were only two workers. Very short staffed. Throughput might be a while, but they were efficient. What we ordered: They're mainly known for their amazing Brazilian churros, but we decided to try something else. 1) Poke Salmon Crispy Rice Sandwich - This is one of their newest items. It's a decent size for one person. The avocado was fresh, the salmon was cooked well, and the rice was crispppyyy! It was very delicious. 2) Biscoff Latte - The biscoff flavor was light. I believe the bottom was drizzled with a homemade caramel syrup? I did not like the taste of the syrup. This drink was decent though. Pricing: The crispy sandwich was $14.95 before the discount, and the drink was $4.75 before the discount. The drinks are averaged price for a medium and large. The desserts and other offerings are on the pricier side. I'd come back to try their Brazilian churros and crispy sandwiches, and maybe their other flavored coffees.

Excellent service. Nice, warm greeting. Loved the affogato with strawberry ice cream. The churro was awesome too with caramel filling and topped with chocolate shavings.

Churroaddict with Chocotella filling, Chocolate Drizzle, Biscoff, and Mini M&Ms
    Sydney L.

The service and churros here were amazing! Churrino is one of the first stands you find on the bottom floor of the South Coast Plaza food court, so after we had lunch we had to try it. I love churros so I was pretty excited. The stand was colorful, and they had a large menu. The menu was pretty scattered across different screens and poster boards, and it's hard to see everything that they offer at once, so I recommend taking your time to look at everything on the menu before ordering. My boyfriend and I ordered the Churro Addict, half plain and half with Chocotella filling, Dark Chocolate Drizzle, Biscoff, and Mini M&Ms. The guy who took our order was so kind and even threw in an extra churro for us since it was our first time there. He made the ordering process super simple and even let us know what to expect from the churros and how to best enjoy them. We waited a couple minutes after getting them to try them (as the cashier recommended) and they were delicious!! The inside was doughy, but they still had a perfectly crispy shell with a great balance of flavor. Personally, the plain pieces without toppings were perfectly sweet, and I found the toppings and fillings to be a little too sweet for my taste, but my boyfriend preferred the Chocotella filled ones with all the toppings. It's hard to find a really good churro spot, so I'm so glad we tried this one out! We will definitely be coming back and I already know what I want to order next :)

Tried this place out and it's pretty good! Got the 3 piece gold miner and the churros were filled with chocolate as well as topped with chocolate and gold flakes. It was pretty tasty, but I think $10 for 3 small pieces of churro isn't very reasonable. Service was quite slow, despite us being one of the few customers. If you have a sweet tooth and are craving churros in the mall though, this place is a good choice! It's at the bottom of Bloomingdale's next to a Pho place.

    Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Sandwich
    Diane L.

I wanted to try their Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice Sandwich for a long time. Unfortunately, it fell a bit short of expectation. Although the sandwich buns were good, the spicy tuna portion was not generous in relation to the crispy rice. By no means did I think they would pile on the tuna given how thick the crispy rice buns are, but we got a really thin layer of tuna which made the whole sandwich almost tasteless. For the price, it was not worth it. The only upside is I did enjoy the crispy rice texture.

    Gohar K.

Great location for a snack stop while shopping at the plaza. Lots of items to chose from. I ordered the mini churros with fillings for my nephew which he loved of course but way to sweet for me. I rather eat the ones without the filling. A bit pricey Good customer service

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

The parking however, was VERY filled during this time. The line was huge for a 11:00am on a Friday morning. I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry! The outside seating areas in this outdoor area was very cute. Lots of fun art, the directory was creative, the CD tunnel was the coolest part! We also walked over to the breakfast burrito place as well. This seems like a nice area to come and relax and just people watch and enjoy a delicious iced latte from Nook.

I think I've only had like a small instance where the internet got a little slow but other than that this is a pleasant spot to visit. You can also rent a study/conference room from the church. I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Not necessarily kid friendly because a lot of people come here to study and work, and its also all concrete and hazards for the small ones, but I have seen people do like babies on strollers type of gathering.

Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.
