This cute turquoise churro truck will catch your eye! The workers were kindly patient with us. We ordered a bolsa de churros for $7 - A reasonable price for 5 to 6 pieces! After waiting only 10 minutes, we picked up a bag of hot and fresh churros! The churros looked paler in color than the norm, but they ended up tasting lightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We were slightly bummed out that half of each churro was barren, while the other half was coated with cinnamon sugar. I appreciate that they double paper bagged the churros to help absorb excess oil. I recommend bringing cash to avoid the $1.00 credit card fee!

I love Churros Los Cuates, my absolute FAVORITE churros. I would go out of my way to come here. I usually get their Churros. They are amazing, slightly crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. One order is a lot, I like to share it with a few people, a bit hard to finish in my own. I don't think I've tried their other menu options but I want to. They are a food truck, it's cute. However, you can also find them at events and farmers markets throughout SoCal. I had them at their food truck location and also at Irvine Nights located at Great Park, it was a night market. There is sometimes a line but the line moves quickly. Parking is easy at the food truck location, I just park in the shopping plaza that it's located near which has Stater Bros. Markets. Service is friendly. I think prices were reasonable, food trucks on average are going to be more expensive. Bring cash if you can but I think they took card too. I don't think there's any seating. I just eat outside standing or in the car. Takes maybe 5-10 minutes for them to make the churros.

Hands down the BEST churros in OC!! After tasting freshly fried, authentic churros in Sayulita, Mexico last year, we've been hunting for the best churros in OC. Churros Los Cuates is the spot! They make the dough and fry them to order! The churros are fresh, chewy, crunchy, and soft. The workers/owners were super nice and friendly. Highly recommend trying them out!! Make sure to check on IG before you head there. The worker/owner said they are booked for events often. Park at the Stater Brothers.

My FAVORITE place for churros. They are always so consistent and flavorful. Staff are really kind and quick. I had Churros Los Cuates at my wedding and they were a hit! Communication was quick and responsive and we appreciate them being so flexible with our stressful wedding schedule. I highly recommend their churros and catering service!

Had my son's high school graduation party yesterday and everyone loved the special treat! Flavors were great and the churros were fresh and delicious! Had ice cream on top with chocolate, caramel, strawberry or sweet milk, so good!!! Would definitely recommend, they were early and made sure everyone was happy and served! Great service!!! I think it was a great idea and I would definitely use them again!

Was randomly craving churros on a Friday night and found Churros Los Cuates on Yelp. The address lead me through a residential neighborhood and on the edge of the Stater Bros. shopping center. I ended up driving out of the neighborhood and through the shopping center to avoid any sort of parking violations. Yes, these churros are better than Disneyland churros. They're hot and crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside and I got a bag of about 5 churros that were approximately six inches long. Not gonna lie, it looked a little suspect going through the parking lot but once I got to the churro truck it felt a little safer since there were a bunch of us waiting on our order and they had a bright flood light. I paid them use the Zelle app since I didn't have cash or my card on me. Wait time was probably 15 minutes. Definitely go here if you want fresh churros.

Fresh, delicious churros. They are very airy and fluffy inside, however I do prefer my churros to be a little more crispy on the outside. Would come back again if I were in the area.

Abuelita Chocolate Frap. Churros with Nuez Ice Cream and Lechera drizzle.
    Jessica L.

I got the churros with Nuez Ice Cream and Lechera and the Abuelita Chocolate Frap. The churros were freshly made, crispy and with a good amount of sugar/cinnamon. The nuez ice cream tasted like the Thrifty Ice Cream, but delicious. The Frap tasted exactly like Abuelita Chocolate and was delicious too! Enjoyed everything I bought, definitely going back.

Hired them last minute for our employee holiday luncheon... this was prob the best idea ever. Easy and fast and the churros were so good. They offer variety of toppings.

The stools look questionable but were sturdier than they look. Nice CLEAN salsa bar. Oh they were not stingy on the napkins - a bonus for me! The cashier was not that personable. My friend's daughter ordered. She asked for sour cream on her quesadilla. He laughed sarcastically & said no sour cream. My tacos had bland dry bits of meat. My cousin & her friend's burritos were too hot.

It's hard to find a good Taco Tuesday but they do a great job helping the community and keeping the prices $1.50 for basic meats like pollo, asada, and al pastor. I personally love my lengua and this truck has some of the best I've tried! It is a bit pricier but definitely worth it given the taste/quality. A couple things about the condiments--green sauce is spicier than you think, red one is more of a salsa and not that hot. Radishes are unfortunately not very crunchy/juicy at this location so I don't get it as often as I would at other taco spots. If you're ever in a rush, they do phone orders AND DoorDash. I've done all the methods and quality stays up there each time! However, if you do wanna enjoy your tacos right after they're prepared, you can always sit at their tables next to the truck. They have quite a bit of dining space and I've never seen it too crowded to the point of having difficulty finding a spot to sit. In terms of finding the truck, you just need to turn into S Hathaway St. Very close to the train tracks. I park in any free space they have there, since the businesses are usually closed after 5pm (which is when the truck opens).

I was honestly surprised by the 2.9-star rating because the photos made the food look delicious, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Overall, I thought it was great. The meat was really good, very flavorful without being over-seasoned or overly salty. I love hibachi-style food, but a lot of places tend to go heavy on the soy sauce and other seasonings, which can make everything taste extremely salty. That wasn't the case here at all. The flavors were well balanced, and nothing tasted salty or overpowering. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, they were soft but not mushy and I liked that they used large pieces of broccoli instead of tiny chopped bits. The only thing I didn't love was the $6 upcharge for fried rice. All of the bowls and plates come with white rice by default, and while the base price of the bowls was fair enough that I still went ahead and ordered the fried rice, the price difference feels a little steep. It seems like they could charge a couple dollars more for the bowls and a couple dollars less for the fried rice instead, because a $6 increase just to put the rice on the grill and add some sauce feels a bit out of line. Other than that, though, the Service was fast and friendly, the food itself was really solid and definitely satisfied my hibachi craving. I'd definitely go back!
