Amazing fresh churros! I have been on the hunt to try all the churro stands in SJ and while researching, I found Churros El Guero on yelp! Located right by Fresco Supermarket, the stand is located under a red tent. We went around 3pm but I recommend calling just to confirm the hours. We got 4 churros for $10: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and caramel. Card and cash are accepted. The churros were cooked well - crispy, not oily, and coated with the right amount of cinnamon and sugar. Our personal favorites were the chocolate and the caramel but the vanilla and strawberry were tasty as well. Delicious churros and very friendly people working the stand. I would definitely come back to Churros El Guero!

Saw this stand while walking around looking at Christmas lights in the willow glen area and the smell just got us and we had to order. We got 3 for 10 dollars. The flavors we got were chocolate, cajeta and original. Never had cajeta but my bf said it was good and Cajeta is the best. Just thinking about it makes me wish I had some more. Service was quick and the churros were perfectly cooked. Crispy and crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy inside. Can't wait to have this again. My only wish is that the churros were longer and that rather that the churros being filled have the sauce in a container to dip. Some bites have more sauce and some don't. I feel a dip would make each bit more even.

This place is so dangerous! I think my company has invited them back to the office 3 or 4x in the last couple years and I thank them. These Churros are so fire! They have multiple flavors that you can fill them up with: caramel, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate or just the regular cinnamon on the outside. They give us 2 every time and it's free for me, of course since the company pays for it, but sadly I elected for only 1 today because summers coming up! LOL I've only had this at work so unsure where they are normally located, but you def gotta come get one of these.

Hidden gem I do not regret driving 20 mins and coming from south san jose just for this! Churro was GREAT! So crunchy and not too sweet. I didnt get a name of worker but he was so sweet and kind, explaining how long it takes. It is located right next to Mexican market, like a food truck so we also checked out the place and got some unique chips! Will definitely coming back and recommend 100%! You can pay via case, zelle, venmo or applypay :)

My kids were craving a little dessert after dinner, so we stopped by this churro stand outside Fresco Supermarket. They were selling 4 churros for $10. The churros weren't made fresh to order--they had already been fried and were sitting on the rack. The staff member helping us coated each one in cinnamon sugar and filled two with chocolate. Even though they weren't made to order, the churros were still warm, and my kids really enjoyed them. Surprisingly, they even tasted good a few hours later.

Not much beats a fresh, warm churro straight out of the fryer. Yum! We got a bag of 4 for $10. They offer different flavors, but we were craving for basic, original churros. These were doughy and crispy golden goodness. Yum!!

THEEE spot for churros in South Bay. They're made fresh to order, $3 for 1 or $10 for 4. The guy manning the truck was very friendly and the churros came out fast. My personal favorite is the caramel filled churro, followed by the vanilla. I've tried all and would skip chocolate and strawberry, those were def on the artificial-tasting side. But other than that.. these churros are incredible. They're freshly made so they're hot when you get them, crisp exterior and soft insides. My one complaint is that they're a bit messy since the fillings get all over the paper bag, so it would be nice to have a small plastic bag over or something so the hands don't get sticky. Overall, would highly recommend. I wish I could come here more often!

Definitely hit the spot! The churros are made to order. I got a bag of 4 for $10. The original is always my fav but also tried the chocolate and strawberry. All really good paired with vanilla ice cream

I got to try Churros El Guero since they were at the Sazon Latin Food Festival in Alameda just this past weekend. They didn't have any signs up about their flavors or prices, but when I stopped to ask, they confirmed it's $3 per churro, and there were several fillings available - strawberry, vanilla, caramel, chocolate. I opted for chocolate, which they were able to get for me right away. I really enjoyed the churro - it was fresh, crispy without being unpleasantly hard, and the chocolate inside was gooey. I would note the chocolate tastes more like chocolate sauce or syrup - think of something like Hershey's syrup - rather than like a chocolate bar or cocoa. However, it was still quite good, and $3 is pretty reasonably priced nowadays for a churro. I'll certainly keep an eye out for them the next time I'm in San Jose or see them at an event.

Churros were one of the highlight of our wedding night!

I'm SHOOKETH that Churros El Guero was the stand out star vendor of our wedding this weekend, and had to gush about them immediately to let the world know! Summary: We had a wedding of about 150 people and served churros as one of our late night snacks. Guests were RAVING about these... to the point of stopping me on the dance floor to be like "dude wtf why are the churros so good" and "hey man! churros are fire- better than Disneyland!" instead of gushing about my marriage bwahaha. Churro Offerings: The churros were made fresh at the cart and were hot and crispy. They served 4 flavor choices for our guests: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and caramel. They even made heart shaped churros for us newlyweds which were AMAZING! They also tasted so fresh and in my opinion were truly better than any Disneyland churro or anything I've tried in Spain/Mexico! Note for those hiring them for weddings or events: GET THE CART instead of the tray of churros delivered! This was such a crowdpleaser and the freshness and customization of each churro is what made guests really happy and excited. Business: Carlos was very easy to work with. We went back and forth via email to work out the logistics and he was able to generate an invoice so I understood exactly when, how, and how much to pay them. The cart arrived on schedule and served churros without a hitch. When I hit my churro limit, they also allowed me to purchase more in real time via some quick calls to Carlos, which was nice of them. Appreciate their flexibility here as guests loved this so much that they went back for seconds!! Pricing: Pricing was extremely fair given the late night hour of our service. The final price of bringing a whole cart to make ready-to-order churros was much cheaper than asking our venue to put out milk and cookies on a tray and way cheaper than getting most other dessert bar offerings catered in. Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a churro fix, especially those considering them for weddings. Thank you Churros El Guero for making our wedding night so memorable and delicious! I'll definitely hire them in the future and can't wait to eat their churros every anniversary!

Can't beat 4 churros for $10! They were hot, fresh and the fillings were so good. We got regular, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Out of these four favors, I would definitely recommend the caramel! There's plenty of parking it's located by the market at eastridge mall.

Came to their food truck for an evening snack and their churros didn't disappoint! Got four for $10 and it was a steal! The churros were nice and crispy but also chewy on the inside. Very filling, and had the right amount of cinnamon sugar coating. Service was quick. I do think their location being in the Fresco parking lot is odd though; most people don't hang around and were driving up to order, then drive off.

Found this dessert stand at the Viva CalleSJ event this past Sunday and couldn't resist its delicious offerings of heart shaped churros covered in cinnamon and sugar and stuffed churros filled with various flavored sauces and creams (caramel, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate). I, of course, got the chocolate stuffed churro, and it was fresh tasting, crispy on the outside, light and fluffy inside, coated in cinnamon and sugar, chocolate filling oozing out of the fried pastry, a party for my taste buds. All for just three bucks, plus they accepted credit card payments. Service was sufficient with minimal wait time. Quick and convenient, and a yummy treat. I was a happy customer :)

I recall this place and when my daughter wanted churros I tried coming here for some but they haven't been around. Did they move? Is there another location?

No, they didn't moved. They're inconsistent with their hours, some day they will be there and some day they will not be there. It's the same location, they're don't update if they're not gonna be there or not

Where is this located? Craving churros in a Saturday night?

Anyone know of cart is still coming to the market? I went the other night and no one was there.

    Yes

    How much is catering? :)

Depending on which package you choose, it starts at $3 per churro.

Anyone know how to get a hold of them? I've tried leaving a voicemail and sent a few texts but haven't heard anything. I'd really like to use their catering service for an upcoming birthday party!

What's the current schedule? I saw the previous question about the cart being broken 4 months ago. I've gone 3 times in the last 2 months but I haven't seen them at all.

    Do they cater parties?

Yes! They have an amazing set up too - full tent (like at a fair) and they make, cook and fill the churros right there on the spot for your guests. They are very reasonably priced too. I've used them for personal parties and work events too..… Read more
