Where shall I begin. From the terrible service of not getting drinks after ten minutes, to the CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP that tasted like chicken noodle soup. I hope they will see here that CHICKEN TORTILLA SOUP isn't just putting TORTILLA CHIPS IN THE SOUP. Also, I assume that you all do not know how to spell CHICKEN, my boyfriend ordered chicken fajitas and then got beef. Okay so the 3 star review is because the food is just not that great. My husband and I ordered the elvis special no. 2 the chicken enchilada was terrible. The chicken is not seasoned they just put the chicken unseasoned in the pan and cooked it, then wrapped it up in an enchiladas with sauce and served it up. I love Chuy's!!! Their jalapeno ranch dip is enough to keep me coming back forever! The enchiladas are really good and they have an awesome happy hour with free chips and a salsa/queso bar. It can get pretty crowded and loud but that's just part of the atmosphere. Very casual laid back and fun. I'm so glad they're in Fort Worth now, no more going to Austin to get my Chuy's fix! I love most Chuy's I've frequented, including San Antonio and Austin areas. Thus one Haas the classic dishes and the food is always good. Service is okay, but one party at our table ordered her dish with no beans and it showed up with beans. While cleaning tables around us the staff was noisy, dragging chairs across the floor (pick it up!) And in a less than 5 minute trio to the bathroom two waitresses came in to answer their cell phones, seeming annoyed that my 6 year old was loudly taking to me at the sink. All in all a decent experience, but all the college aged waitstaff need a few more manners. read more

I was not a fan it was ok but I probably won't come here again. I had the ground beef tacos the beef was ok they had green bell peppers cut up but they weren't cooked they tastes like they were raw. The taco shell tasted old and petrified. I wasn't a fan of the charro beans they were ok but I like a little more broth. read more

The interior design is trendy and great for looks but horrible for ambiance. Hubcaps on the ceiling contribute to the over-the-top noise in the joint. Also, tables separated by wrought iron circles makes it seem that you have strangers sitting at your table with you. Go to Chuy's! But if you go...be sure it isn't at happy hour. read more

4 words: chica chica boom boom. I really like those. Its an enchilada with a very subtle green chili sauce. Vert very good! Restaurant is a typical chain. Lacks the ambiance of the flag ship in Austin. (Really lived that one). Parking is a hassle but still worth it for those enchiladas... yum read more

Terrible experience! First, service was terrible. We had to flag down different staff throughout our visit for refills on chips and drinks. They also were NOT busy, so there wasn't a reason for our waitress to be so inattentive. Second, the food wasn't very good. We saw our food sitting there for over 5 minutes before it was brought to our table. Lukewarm food...yummy. Third, everyone in our party ended up getting sick the next morning. Overall, I would say to avoid this location. I have enjoyed many other Chuy's, but this location was terrible. read more

Been to this location many times before, but this was a disappointment. Someone from our large group called in advance to see if they were busy, on a Tuesday night, and we were told not too busy. we arrived with about 18 people, which grew to 25+ and waited over an hour to be seated. During this time, no one checked in with us, no one offered options to seat in two smaller groups, no one offered to have us be in part of the bar area. While waiting many groups of 2-4 were seated quickly, including in the areas we ultimately were seated in. In the end, our groups was back to about 18. Service was slow and food was acceptable, really below average for a Texas Tex-Mex restaurant. Normally, would not have bothered writing a review, but we were mostly ignored, not kept up to date nor offered any options. read more

Took my mom here for her birthday and she loved it! Their boom boom sauce is really tasty. I asked for the special of the day and they were out, which was a bit disappointing, but the waitstaff took care of us. Their drinks are great and are pretty strong. SO FREAKIN HOT!! OH my goodness. I used to go for happy hour here often but not anymore. They never turn on the air conditioner. I want to have happy hour drinks to escape the heat, not to mention they run out of drink items and food items for long periods of time. Used to be a great place on 7th St., but these days it appears to be a free for all with no one taking care of things a restaurant should make a priority. Not going to this Tex-Mex chain again. Yum Yum. The chicken enchiladas with ranchero sauce and green Chile fried chicken are fabulous. Salsa is very fresh and delicious. I recommend the green chile rice instead of the Mexican rice. The Mexican rice was not very good, but everything else was very perfect. read more

I went to Chuy's for the first time and probably won't go back unless friends request it. The food wasn't bad, it was just average. I ordered nachos so I got a small taste of the beans and they were not good. They tasted straight out of the can. Our waitress was pleasant but she took forever to get our drink order to us. Our margaritas were no longer frozen on the bottom. We asked for extra salsa and the chips were gone by the time the salsa came. They do have a nice patio and I have been told there is a good happy hour. There are just too many places in the area that I think are better so this will not be on my list of places to go. read more

Great Mexican food at reasonable prices! Chuy's never fails to please me. I had the queso- which was immaculate, and the steak burrito, which was juicy and delicious. The waiter checked up on us every few minutes to see if we needed anything else, even though the restaurant was busy. This location has a really cool vibe as well. Having eaten at this Chuy's on endless occasion I find that my two latest visits were disappointing at best and I will take my lunch ventures on hiatus. Today, I visited wanting yumminess but instead Chuy's has hired a bunch of out of school students who wanted to do more talking than serving. On arrival the hostess was emotionless and told us we could sit outside or wait for a table, we opted to wait versus sitting in the what felt like 107 degree heat. Despite a booth being cleaned and opened the hostess, manager and several wait staff decided it was more fun to frolic around than sit people. Sure we could opt for heat or the bar for a quickie. . After finally being sat, we waited for another waitress despite 5 standing up front laughing around...,.but alas got the food and good but service sucked! read more
