Great service and hospitality, great meal. Love those garlic knots!!!! Our go-to place for Italian food!

Spectacular food and service! Sue is the sweetest and the food is really fabulous! My new FAV!

Delicious Garlic Bread!

A few months ago I met a girlfriend here for an early dinner and we had an excellent meal. I highly recommend making a reservation, because without it we would have been turned away. Brusco is a small neighborhood place with quite a following. We saw a few of their "regulars" walk in without a reservation and they couldn't get a table. Our server had a lot going on, but she was friendly and efficient, and we received good service. The garlic bread is amazing. I try not to eat a lot of bread, however ordering this is a must. I believe the dinners come with a roll of some sort, which we didn't get, probably because we ordered the garlic bread, which was totally worth it, as it was the best garlic bread I have ever had. For my entrée I had the Snapper Francaise. The Snapper was cooked perfectly, and came with a side of pasta. Brusco is the perfect local Italian restaurant. They have excellent food, good service and fair prices. I 100% recommend Brusco.

After reading Stephen S's review of this restaurant, I felt it would be the perfect place to meet a girlfriend for dinner. It's located in Deerfield Beach on the east side of Federal Highway. I knew it was a "small" restaurant from his review but had no idea that it was as small as it was. I'm so glad we made reservations, as even on a Wednesday evening they were packed. Not only was every table taken, but they turned away a number of folks who stopped by and who called that wanted to dine in as they were totally booked for the evening. There was only one gal working out front. She took the orders, served, and took our payment, too. Considering how busy she was, she had it all together waiting on everyone. She even took time to answer our questions and special requests. And considering the packed restaurant, our food was surprisingly delivered in a timely manner. We started with an order of garlic bread. It was a nice loaf done crispy around the edges with buttery garlic inside. Each dinner came with a small salad. Both of us are not fans of field greens/mixed greens. She was nice enough to give us each a minimum of these in our salads which came with a house vinaigrette. For our main meals, my friend had their snapper francaise, market priced and not too expensive, with linguine. I had their chicken francaise with angel hair pasta. The eggy batter was light and airy and the sauce was nice and lemony. I'd order this again, definitely. I'm a hearty eater but the portion was so huge (3 medallions of chicken), that I wound up taking half of my dinner home. We were both too full to consider dessert. As tables are closely spaced, we got to see some other meals being served. The meatballs were huge and looked quite good, as did one of the pizzas that a large table had as their "appetizer" before their entrees. I'm already planning on returning.

An amazing pizza is what's in this Photo. Sicilian with Pepperoni. Very good! Seasoning and overall taste is a winner.

Brusco Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria Deerfield Beach Great dinner visit, A Smaller restaurant but a good one. It Has Character! Food was excellent, started with the Sicilian style Peperoni Pizza to try a few slices and take the rest home, Wow! Very good. The Seasoning on the crust was perfect, Great flavor! Large slices, Light eating. Not like the heavy doughy kinds other places make. Beer & Wine Only, Free parking in front. There is an EV charge Station nearby at the Target if you need a charge while eating. It's a close walk. I ordered the Veal Siciliana which was excellent, Veal, with Eggplant and a side of Pasta, Comes with salad and bread. Veal was seasoned and prepared perfect for me. Even the Pasta was excellent. Great sauce flavor. Grandson had the Lobster Ravioli, When I looked up to ask him how it was, he was done and said it was Excellent. I told him to eat more pizza and have another beer. Service was excellent all night. No Complaints. I will be back. It was quite an experience. A great one for sure.

Veal Francaise

I swear I'm not on payroll here!! lol We tried the gnocchi bolognese ( I don't eat gnocchi typically) and it was INCREDIBLE! No photo because ... well we were so hungry we devoured it! And finally made room for dessert. One ginormous tasty cannoli and the tiramisu made by the chef's wife - both ending another delicious meal on a high note!

Eggplant Parmigiana, Garlic Knot, Gnocchi.

This is a 2 day review, I wish we had taken photos but it was so good, we didn't stop to think about it. Day one: we got the Spicy Calamari appetizer, Carbonara, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Parm, Cannoli, Tiramisu, and Lemon Sorbet. The Calamari was crispy and just the right amount of spice and the marinara sauce that came with it was definitely homemade and delicious. They include garlic knots with your meal, we ended up dipping it into the calamari sauce it was so good. The Carbonara was phenomenal, creamy and rich the pancetta was flavorful and fantastic. The Scampi was just as good, the shrimp were large and plentiful. The chicken parm was accompanied by that delicious sauce and large piece of chicken, it was great as well. None of us could finish our meals, the portions are large and it really is a great value. The cannoli was freshly filled and the cream was awesome, not too dense and was creamy and flavorful. The Tiramisu and Lemon Sorbet was made by the owners wife, and she did an amazing job! The Tiramisu is a must try, soft, creamy, just amazing. The lemon sorbet was tart and refreshing, just amazing. Their service, 10/10. Ms. Sue was super friendly and honest when asked about the menu. Our drinks were never empty and she was just awesome. She provided fresh plates so that we could sample each others dishes and was very thoughtful. My sister's boyfriend has parents in Italy, so he grew up on fresh Italian food and he was very impressed by this restaurant, reminded him of his mother's cooking. Day 2: I took my grandparents whose parents were from Italy, they call sauce, gravy, and are very hard to impress with Italian food. We got the gnocchi, eggplant parm, and Lasagna. They had a special and we got mini cannolis as well. The gnocchi were traditional potato gnocchi, soft and delicious. You can choose from a few sauces and he chose the bolognese, it was filled with meat, it was very hearty and plentiful. I have never had gnocchi like that before, he said that it reminded him of his mother's gnocchi, he said it was "sensational", I've never heard him praise food like that. The Eggplant parm was just as well received, you can also choose which pasta you want with the dish, this one had angel hair pasta, there was so much and it was covered in that delicious marinara sauce. My grandmother loved it. The lasagna was a large portion, well seasoned and full of meat, the only word that can describe it, is delicious. We were also provided with garlic knots like the previous night, 2 per person and they are decent sized. Service: Ms. Sue was fantastic and even remembered mine and everyone in my parties name from the day before. Drinks were kept full and she handled my sometimes difficult grandparents with ease. When we left, she even gave us hugs and wish me a safe flight back to SC. This is restaurant while unassuming, is a must try, it is now a family tradition for us that when we come to visit, we must eat there. If you're local or traveling and are looking for a local spot, go here! I would just recommend that you check their hours first!

There was a dj outside setting some good vibes and inside was nice a calm. Highly recommend bringing a jacket, the air conditioning inside kept the place pretty chilly when it was on and then comfortably warm when off. The food was fresh and delicious. I would say it rivals Joe's Stone Crab in Miami Beach. Everything was to perfection. My favorites were the fried calamari and the whole fried fish (didn't get a pic). A little lemon juice and nothing more was needed. Our server Mimi was delightful and had great menu knowledge. Especially appreciated her suggestion of spicy mayo with my blackened lobster sandwich rather than the sauce it comes with. Looking forward to coming back!

We were the only ones in this area when we arrived but started to fill up when we left. A great room. I Started with a conch chowder cup. Excellent, lots of conch. Seasoned perfectly. A winner! Warm peel & eat shrimps were excellent. Fresh big ones. So good I ordered an extra order to take home. That good! A must have to share with the table. I came for Fish Tacos and ordered the fried beer battered red snapper. MP Choices were Mahi Mahi, red snapper, or Tile Fish. Excellent, excellent, wow! Too good! Will order again. My brother's wife got the Lobster Tacos and loved them. Overall a great visit. Will definitely be back for those fish Tacos.

I was searching Yelp for seafood, and this came up as highly rated. One of the people in our party of 5 adults and a toddler is not a huge fan of seafood, so having Italian options was great. He ordered the special eggplant parmigiana and said it was delicious. The sauce was very good and he cleaned his plate. . Everyone also enjoyed their salads with the ginger dressing. A few even added some balsamic and said the combo was delicious. The wahoo bites we had as an appetizer was crispy and flaky and lovely. Our 16 month old guest enjoyed them as well. I ordered the sesame crusted ahi tuna and Bahamian peas and rice side. The tuna was perfectly cooked and the Bahamian peas and rice were amazing!!! The spicy flavor and beautifully textured rice were the perfect side with the tuna! Others ordered the Linguine Alla Vongole - fresh clams in the shell with garlic scampi sauce and Crazy Bob's Shrimp and Calamari Fra Diavolo with angel hair pasta. There was a generous amount of clams, shrimp and calamari in the respective dishes enjoyed with the wonderful pastas. The generous amount of pasta was taken home. Our sever Agnes was a delight! Very kind and an absolute pleasure! While we were too full and content to have desserts those who live in town said they will need to come back and leave room for the key lime pie. The dining area was decorated with wonderful art and nautical treasures. A few tables exist for outdoor dining. Mostly for two or four diners. Highly recommend Chef Dee's restaurant!

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

After reading all the rave reviews about their happy hour, we decided to stop by on a weekday -- and overall, it was definitely worth checking out. The decor is stylish while still feeling like a true bar, without coming across as overly divey like some of the surrounding seafood spots nearby. We arrived about an hour before happy hour and were initially served by Am B, who was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to our requests. Once happy hour started, we moved to the high-top area since HH specials are only offered at the bar and surrounding high-top tables. Our second server, Andrew, was equally fantastic. As for the food, the fish dip was just okay. Based on other reviews, we expected larger chunks of fish throughout, but that wasn't really the case. Not pictured, but the kids' burger was surprisingly one of the best kids' burgers we've seen anywhere. The $1 oysters during happy hour are an unbeatable deal, especially since they're a decent size. The $5 hush puppies were also good, and the sauce definitely elevated them. For drinks, I loved that they offer wine on tap. My Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and refreshing after a hot beach day. That said, the happy hour drink selection was a little underwhelming. The beer and wine specials were only $1 off, and the $4 mixed drinks were basic well drinks. I also wish there were a few more food options included on the HH menu. One minor downside -- there were quite a few pesky flies lingering around and landing on the food, which meant we were constantly waving them away. Maybe adding small table fans could help minimize the issue. Overall, this is a great place to check out, and if you're an oyster fan, happy hour is absolutely the time to go.
