Seasonal depression has hit me hard and the only way i can get the seratonin i desperately need is by impulse ordering charcuterie and cocktails to be delivered to my house at 8PM on a Sunday. Charcuterie board was like 18$? it's GIANT, definitely good for 2-4 people to snack on- packaged perfectly to just pick up and head to your picnic- idk what matches w what so i ate like the peasant i am but enjoyed it. the big ass bread loaf is great too! very satisfying. favorite part is the cocktails they bottle for delivery- ordered two sangrias and a mojito- they send cute lil containers of oranges for the sangria and a lime wedge for the mojito. Woah! This is some really, really excellent food! I came here for the first time today and this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. Our lunch and drinks were perfect. Large portions, friendly services , appropriate prices. The food was so filling, we came in right when they opened and noon and I did not need to eat again for the rest of the day. One of the best things is that so much of what they serve is house made ! Even the ketchup. I can't remember the last time I saw that attention to detail in a restaurant . We came in after a long walk across the city and even though this is a nice place, they were very welcoming. Unfortunately ,a few little details made the overall experience less perfect than the food. Their bathroom is behind the building and shared with other businesses. It was really, really dirty . May not be their fault but still worth knowing. This is a weird complaint, but their tables are held up by slabs of concrete. My knee hit it when sitting down and it resulted in a bloody cut, big bruise and major swelling. (Update: 3 weeks later , my knee is still in bad shape) this is not the type of complaint I usually make , especially with an otherwise fantastic experience. Just seems like an odd choice for tables. Other reviews complained about uncomfortable seating, and while this specifically was not an issue for me, it seems like functionality and comfort are not a priority . Best ambiance! Servers know and understand the menu really well, and they know how to tailor an experience best to your needs. Really high quality ingredients. Must have pasta, since it's made in house! The ciopino is out of this world! All desserts are worth trying... at once. read more

Excellent service!!! Wonderful waiter and host. We were seated pretty quickly and ALL of the dishes and cocktails were perfect. I definitely will be making recommendations for this place and will return. We ordered the bolognese, margherita pizza, and pizza with ricotta and arugula. The pisco pear sour drink is perfectly portioned, and the house sangria was nice and sweet. You can taste the difference between Cibo and other pizzerias. Their ingredients are fresh and organic, and the tomato sauces tastes authentic and homemade. Nothing that you would find from a jar. I am from Northern California and have been to many good Italian restaurants in San Francisco Bay Area, but this one was one of the best experiences that I have had. Very disappointed. Ordered through door dash tonight to try this place because of good reviews. Unfortunately I found out about how rude the male worker tonight 1/22 was to my delivery driver. I wondered what was taking so long and it turned out the worker lied about the timing for the food being ready and snapped at my driver. I really wanted to like this place but the food was just okay for the price charged and I know I can go somewhere else with just as great food(for more reasonable prices) that doesn't treat people poorly. I freaking love this place. To be transparent, I have NOT dined in, but I'm an avid delivery customer and they never disappoint. My husband and I have made a tradition of ordering from here anytime we're on our way back home from the airport. It's always such a treat to know that this will be waiting for us. Our go-to order is the Margherita Pizza, Pollo Frito (chicken strips) with a spicy aioli, and their House Caesar Salad. The pizza is always delicious, and 1 of them is enough for 2 people if you're not planning for leftovers. The chicken strips are out of this world. I think they use some kind of turmeric rub. I always reheat them in the oven and they come out crispy and juicy. The aioli is also f**king delicious. MORE please. We've tried the pastas a few times now, and they're all fantastic. I especially like the salmon with peas. You can also get an entire loaf of fresh bread for like $5. Such a steal. Lastly, their Olive Oil Cake with fresh cream and a cherry is a contender for one of my all-time favorite desserts. It's SO GOOD. We love their pizza and Caesar salad. Great flavor and one of the best Caesar I've had in Portland, their Caesar's got the right amount of acidity and creaminess you can tell they are using high quality cheese shavings. However, sometimes the pizza can be soggy, I think it's because they are thin and the ingredients can have high water content. Cibo came to us on a night we were "supposed to make dinner" but as hours passed and I couldn't seem to get myself in the kitchen, I opted to go out and try somewhere new! Best. Decision. Ever. We got to the restaurant about 7:30pm, there were open tables but we wanted to sit at the bar. The bartender was awesome and attentive! We had mentioned we just moved to Portland not that long ago so he gave us some other places he thought had good food! We started with drinks and got their fried chicken appetizer. It came with this decision spicy aioli and might be my favorite thing I ate all night! For dinner, I ordered the margherita pizza with added pepperoni, my boyfriend got their steak with potatoes. Both were equally delicious. I love that you cut your own slice of pizza, and for the price, I thought we got quite a bit! Sharing between us, we still took three decent sized slices home. An off-putting thing for me is they charge $4.00 for 1 Ice Tea and no refills. I wonder if they do that with coffee too? I am not someone that drinks 4 ice teas. I usually have 1 1/2 or 2 since there is a lot of ice in ice tea. We have worked in service and I never minded refilling peoples Ice tea and water as needed. It costs very little to make a pitcher of ice tea. So that is why we like the food to take home. No loud noises, you can move at your own pace and have as much ice tea as you want. We came here on a whim after visiting the Evergreen Air Museum with the family. Which i another great place to go. We came to Cibo based on photos.....we were all so pleasantly surprised. I grew up in LA Calif. and I have to say I am pretty spoiled with a lot of good foods. Cibo's pizza is THE best pizza in Oregon that my family and I have had so far. Their side dishes are well thought out and delicious. The burrata appetizer and fried pasta sides were amazing. We can't wait to go back when we are in McMinnville Downtown. This place has great pizza!! So cool how you get to cut your own slices. Pizza is served uncut and is incredibly thin (New York style)! Which personally is my favorite. I ordered the pesto pasta and so did another person in our group and we both found it very bland and ended up eating the pizza. Service was great! Wouldn't go with a party larger than 6. We had 8 and we were sat in a long but tiny booth and I struggled moving my arms to eat. Will come back again! read more

Really love Cibo. They have delicious italian foods of all sorts. I come here at least a couple times each month. My biggest complaint is: I have ordered pizza from them many times -no exaggeration, every single time my pizza has been cold upon delivery.
