Margherita and Pepperoni jalapeno Hot Honey
    Tram D.

My friend and I got the marg and the pepperoni jalapeño hot honey. I was most intrigued by the sourdough and I thought that was a nice touch and flavor. however, I thought the dough itself was floppy and chewy like it was undercooked. Flavor on the marg was decent nothing special. the pepperoni had a good flavor and was my favorite of the two. tiramisu also wasn't that good.

This is a super cute spot that totally fits the Portland vibe! Great patio with pretty greenery all around. It was quite busy for a Wednesday night so reservations are probably a good idea. There isn't much interaction with the staff as you order right at the table with a QR code. Drinks and food are delivered, and that was the end of the staff interaction. Overall the crust is great but pizza is floppy with little to it. We didn't love any of the dips that we got. They didn't have a lot of flavor. It's a cool concept though it just wasn't for us. I still recommend if you're looking for that cool patio and enjoy this type of pizza!

They've done it again! We did a reservation which was nice to beat the crowd and not wait. We got the pepperoni hot honey again as it was so good and it still was amazing. I really liked the special, fennel sausage which had some shaved fennel in it that tasted like it was marinated and really was complex in flavor. It was a bit floppy of a slice but it didn't take away from the flavor or my enjoyment! The three meat was also very good. We enjoyed it all, and we'll definitely be back! Very nice to sit on the patio and hang out.

Very Portland-esque pizza spot with homey, living room style decor and a beautiful back garden. The pizza was pretty good! But unfortunately mine was a bit burnt and I honestly didn't find it to be very flavorful. Crust was really good and dipping sauces is such a good idea. Wish we would have gotten the tiramisu! Drinks were good and honestly I'd go back just to have an aperol in their garden. Make a reservation! Folks behind us were told an hour or more for a table on a Friday night and we walked right in.

wow. It's so hard to leave a review for somewhere like this. We stopped in expecting good pizza, but were shocked at how absolutely, absurdly incredible it is here. We got the olives and two pizzas, and everything was delicious. I would go here again and again, anytime for any reason or no reason at all. 100/10.

This is a quaint little place. The service was amazing. I really like the homemade limeade. My wife and I had a difference of opinion about the pizza. We both thought it was pretty good but my wife didn't appreciate the singed parts of the dough. I thought it added to the mystic. So it might not be for everyone.

Just visited for the first time for the Portland Restaurant Month special, and I can't wait to come back! The owner and staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The space is so unique and cozy. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, which is great with the summer weather approaching. There is plenty of street parking available too. The food was excellent! We loved the arugula salad, truffle mushroom pizza, and the affogato. We would order everything again! Definitely get your own pizza, or a few to share...they are too delicious, you'll want to eat it all! The crust was perfect, crispy on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside. Highly recommended!

Turning Peel was sooo tasty and the crust was delicious!! I came on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy, after ordering t the counter the pizza was out within ~10 minutes. The outdoor seating is lovely and super shaded.

yummy cocktails all around! (even a special NA one!)

What a fun and delicious place. we did not make reservations (which they do take) and fortunately arrived a little before opening, because there was already a line forming. Luck was on our side, as we were the last party without a reservation to be seated. everyone else behind us had about an hour wait. All of the pies we tried were really really good. The tomato pie was really savory tomato sauce on sourdough crust. My son, who has never been a cheese fan, loved it! Their sourdough crust is chewy and tasty! They have a great selection of specialty cocktails and drinks, and a couple of options for desserts. The house made ice cream was pretty good, but we all thought the tiramisu needed a few more lady fingers. The atmosphere is casual and fun, and the staff was very sweet and attentive. We loved the east coast accent too! ;) I think it makes the pizza even better. We will be back and we will make sure to make reservations.

The Truffle Mushroom is phenomenal, first time here and my partner and I are already thinking of coming back as soon as we can. Friendly staff, innovative kitchen! They have a weekly special. Gimlet is refreshing!

I am an avid pizza maker and make pizza at home at a very high level. There aren't many places in town that impress me... I've been hearing about the turning peel on social media and decided to try ordering it for delivery last night. I ordered the mushroom truffle and garlic, and also a pepperoni pie with a side of olives. The crust was definitely unique, and I appreciated the complexity and texture of the sourdough. These are different pizzas, they are smaller and more personal sized, which was a nice change. Overall, the quality was fantastic and I was really impressed. I am looking forward to going there in person and trying some cocktails. This place is definitely worth trying and is not like any other place in town. A+ for creating something unique, special and high-quality.

This was an unassuming little place from the outside that opened up to a cute and cozy world inside! There was already a line outside waiting for the restaurant to open at 5pm but we were seated quickly. The patio area outside was a beautiful set up, however despite it being heated it was still a bit cold (our table was near the door though). The ordering style is via QR code which I wasn't a big fan of since you have to pay and tip already. The pizzas were amazing, the toppings were so fresh and it was some of the best crust I've had. The tiramisu was quite strong on the rum so I wasn't the biggest fan of it. I'd definitely come back for the pizzas!

I was sold on it being pizza made with sourdough. I was super excited to try this out, huge fan of pizza and sourdough. I got the margherita pizza, delicious! Also had the whipped ricotta with honey and garlic oil. It leans more in the sweeter side but a delightful addition to the pizza. We also ordered the Three Meats which was salty, but balanced with the rest of the pizza at the same time. The spot was inside a home converted into a pizza spot. It's cozy!

I have several reasons stacked up as to why - I am highly allergic to…read moreHops and Pot so getting stoned and tossing cheap beers back is not for me, nor is smelling it or people doing that since... yeah thanks no. A lot of dive bar food is made with beer whether the menu says it or not and it is usually just a tragedy. I get it - drunk folks do not care what they are eating but the menu is about the same at most places. A friend wanted to attend a Shakespeare interactive play here. Since it was starting at 7pm and I live in Beaverton I was not going to have time to get over here and eat so I looked up the bar online. I was curious at the Mediterranean food but also very happy since that is not made with beer. My friend arrived before me and grabbed up perfect seats. We realized it was going to be a full house so we had better order food which was super easy to do. Can I also throw in that on their wall behind the bar they have chips you can just grab from the bartender... FRITOS, which are one of my favorite things. But thank you - just that... I was not drinking and just having soda with the show and some food but I could genuinely see having a few drinks and just grabbing one for a small snack. Our food, even with the bussel busy Friday night, came pretty fast and all the folks taking orders and serving were super friendly, wanting to help. I wanted the chicken gyro but they ran out so I gave their falafel a go - the falafel was a touch on the over mark but was still pretty delicious and I opted for a 'side' salad which I thought was strange to upcharge $3 for until it arrived and was INSANE... so huge! I got a side of onion rings too which were ridiculously good...seriously some of the best damned rings I have had and I could not stop eating them so that, my friends, was dinner... I had to take most of the gyro and salad to go. That salad ...later...I had an avocado I needed to use up at home and with their dressing. It was incredible! Amusing thing is that there is a vegan restaurant my friend had wanted to try near here and we did. Had the WORST experience and this was perfect... when we are over here this just earned itself a place as a go to spot for me. I might even drink here sometime HAHAHAHA!

The bartender was taking so long to pour shots and make a mixed drinks that our 3 other friends walked out. We downed our drinks and left to go elsewhere because the service was soooo slow.
