Very good pizza, high quality fresh taste. The sauce was amazing, 10/10, the acidity of the tomato combines very well with the mild sourness of the sourdough bread. Not too runny and not too chunky. The bread was a nice char while staying fluffy with several pockets (I like them). I've heard a lot about this place and have always wanted to visit (my expectations were a bit high and it didn't disappoint). Interior/atmosphere: The inside was very calm and favors a social aspect. Was clean and organized, nothing stood out as wrong. It's not a traditional restaurant layout since the building was made to be a house, so keep in mind. I also know they have a backyard, but I didn't get a chance to see it, but I'm sure it was green and lively. Price: was nothing excessive, very standard for the area. Margarita pizza was $13 and tiramisu was $10. You can also get free "pizza bread" which is a bread roll from the dough batch used for the pizza. What a fun and delicious place. we did not make reservations (which they do take) and fortunately arrived a little before opening, because there was already a line forming. Luck was on our side, as we were the last party without a reservation to be seated. everyone else behind us had about an hour wait. All of the pies we tried were really really good. The tomato pie was really savory tomato sauce on sourdough crust. My son, who has never been a cheese fan, loved it! Their sourdough crust is chewy and tasty! They have a great selection of specialty cocktails and drinks, and a couple of options for desserts. The house made ice cream was pretty good, but we all thought the tiramisu needed a few more lady fingers. The atmosphere is casual and fun, and the staff was very sweet and attentive. I am an avid pizza maker and make pizza at home at a very high level. There aren't many places in town that impress me... I've been hearing about the turning peel on social media and decided to try ordering it for delivery last night. I ordered the mushroom truffle and garlic, and also a pepperoni pie with a side of olives. The crust was definitely unique, and I appreciated the complexity and texture of the sourdough. These are different pizzas, they are smaller and more personal sized, which was a nice change. Overall, the quality was fantastic and I was really impressed. There was already a line outside waiting for the restaurant to open at 5pm but we were seated quickly. The patio area outside was a beautiful set up, however despite it being heated it was still a bit cold (our table was near the door though). The ordering style is via QR code which I wasn't a big fan of since you have to pay and tip already. The pizzas were amazing, the toppings were so fresh and it was some of the best crust I've had. The sourdough crust is what they're known for, and it did not disappoint! It was the best part of the pizza. They offer dipping sauces for the crust which we unfortunately saw after we had ordered so we didn't get to try them. The service, while friendly, was a little disappointing. We ordered two pizzas and they forgot to fire the second pizza, and it took an additional 30 minutes to come out. I was also puzzled by the fact that they didn't cut the slices through all the way, and when we asked about it, they gave us scissors and told us to look underneath the pizza to finish the cuts because that's the way they serve them. Wow, Great Sourdough Pizza! Whatever you put on this pizza the star of the show is the Sourdough. We got there at happy hour and we got a margarita pizza for 9 bucks and we got a 3 meat pizza at $23. They have table or counter service. The wait staff is alert and attentive to our needs. This is an old home converted to a pizzeria restaurant. On the outside they have all kinds of plants around the tables in front and in the back. The place is kind of antiquey and homey. Very comfortable. Both were really good and the sourdough pizza crust had that nice chew to it that I've come to love. It wasn't too busy but I've heard it's busier for dinner. The only drawbacks on the pizza were the toppings had a tendency to slide off and the center of the pizza was a bit too doughy and oily. While the food is good, the ambience is the major draw for me. The entrance, interior, and back patio are all absolutely gorgeous! The owner did an excellent job making the restaurant very relaxing. This restaurant isn't my absolute favorite pizza place, but I regularly tell others about it and definitely recommend giving it a try! read more

We sat outside and the "oasis" patio is super cute. I wish the pizza had more sauce/toppings because the crust was so thick and delicious. I was a little disappointed that it's basically counter service. You either order on your phone with a QR code or at the counter. I don't really like being asked to tip before I'm even served (or in this case I wasn't really served. While some dark leoparding is normal for Neapolitan pizza, these crusts were excessively burnt and bitter, making them inedible. For the price, this felt unacceptable since a large portion of each pizza couldn't be eaten. I'm genuinely surprised this was served as-is, especially from a place claiming Neapolitan standards (AVPN). I wish I had opened the box before leaving to see the crusts. This place is very cute! It is in an old house so make sure to make reservations as it is small. My only critique of the location was that the patio was very warm - it had a roof and a lot of plants which created a greenhouse effect. At first we thought it was a hot day but as soon as we left we realized it was much warmer on the patio compared to the outside temperature elsewhere. The service was great! You can scan a QR code to order your food to the table. I found that they didn't have things like lemons or limes for the iced tea which was a bummer. There was also not a way to leave a tip if you ordered online so make sure to bring cash. The food was incredible! The sourdough crust was sooo good! I think the pizza here is good, very light and airy but personally at close to $20 a pie the pizzas are a bit small and lacking for me. It ends up being a small personal pie. Since it's Neapolitan style the crust is very thin, the dough has good chew but I feel like they could make some pizzas bigger to offset the topping ratio. I know they have lunch specials but that's not the point. The ingredients are nice but having them make the pizzas a bit bigger wouldn't cost a lot dough wise. I think this is why I continue to eat at Ken's Artisan pizza as a preference. Staff are super sweet! Recommend making reservations or ordering online for to go. I came here due to the great reviews. Unfortunately had a subpar experience. First, they require you to order off a QR code or at the counter and you must tip and close out to order food. The idea that you tip without table-side service and no one checks on you isn't right. The tipping starts at 20%, I am sure you can custom tip lower but it's not obvious how to navigate that on the app. I ordered the truffle mushroom and there was no truffle flavor. As well, the pizza came out with 1/4 of the pizza being a dough burnt bubble and the center was soggy. I am surprised the kitchen still served it. To pay $22 for a smaller pizza and 1/4 not being edible was disappointing. Lastly, our table inside had a fly issue and they kept landing on our food and drinks and it felt dirty. Full disclosure; pizza is my favorite food so I am of the mindset that even bad pizza is better than no pizza, but that also means I know GOOD pizza, and this pizza is off the charts good! The whole staff was perfect - they really take the time to make sure you're taken care of. I was definitely surprised to find a last minute reservation on a Friday at 8:30pm because the last time I visited, I couldn't get a table as a walk-in so make sure to reserve your spot online. Also, they charge $25 per person if you don't show up or cancel your reservation before a specific date. I thought it was weird that I couldn't find a phone # online.
