Very Portland-esque pizza spot with homey, living room style decor and a beautiful back garden. The pizza was pretty good! But unfortunately mine was a bit burnt and I honestly didn't find it to be very flavorful. Crust was really good and dipping sauces is such a good idea. Wish we would have gotten the tiramisu! Drinks were good and honestly I'd go back just to have an aperol in their garden. Make a reservation! Folks behind us were told an hour or more for a table on a Friday night and we walked right in.

This is a quaint little place. The service was amazing. I really like the homemade limeade. My wife and I had a difference of opinion about the pizza. We both thought it was pretty good but my wife didn't appreciate the singed parts of the dough. I thought it added to the mystic. So it might not be for everyone.

Turning Peel was sooo tasty and the crust was delicious!! I came on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't too busy, after ordering t the counter the pizza was out within ~10 minutes. The outdoor seating is lovely and super shaded.

Just visited for the first time for the Portland Restaurant Month special, and I can't wait to come back! The owner and staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The space is so unique and cozy. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, which is great with the summer weather approaching. There is plenty of street parking available too. The food was excellent! We loved the arugula salad, truffle mushroom pizza, and the affogato. We would order everything again! Definitely get your own pizza, or a few to share...they are too delicious, you'll want to eat it all! The crust was perfect, crispy on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside. Highly recommended!

I am an avid pizza maker and make pizza at home at a very high level. There aren't many places in town that impress me... I've been hearing about the turning peel on social media and decided to try ordering it for delivery last night. I ordered the mushroom truffle and garlic, and also a pepperoni pie with a side of olives. The crust was definitely unique, and I appreciated the complexity and texture of the sourdough. These are different pizzas, they are smaller and more personal sized, which was a nice change. Overall, the quality was fantastic and I was really impressed. I am looking forward to going there in person and trying some cocktails. This place is definitely worth trying and is not like any other place in town. A+ for creating something unique, special and high-quality.

Staff was kind but also felt slightly judged. Aside from that the place is gorgeous, it feels so homey and the menu while small it's just perfect for what the place is. Will definitely come back!

A classic jalapeño pizza , it is sourdough so for pizza I wouldn't classify it as pizza but other than the burnt taste in the crust the pizza was very good and tasty .

This was an unassuming little place from the outside that opened up to a cute and cozy world inside! There was already a line outside waiting for the restaurant to open at 5pm but we were seated quickly. The patio area outside was a beautiful set up, however despite it being heated it was still a bit cold (our table was near the door though). The ordering style is via QR code which I wasn't a big fan of since you have to pay and tip already. The pizzas were amazing, the toppings were so fresh and it was some of the best crust I've had. The tiramisu was quite strong on the rum so I wasn't the biggest fan of it. I'd definitely come back for the pizzas!

I was sold on it being pizza made with sourdough. I was super excited to try this out, huge fan of pizza and sourdough. I got the margherita pizza, delicious! Also had the whipped ricotta with honey and garlic oil. It leans more in the sweeter side but a delightful addition to the pizza. We also ordered the Three Meats which was salty, but balanced with the rest of the pizza at the same time. The spot was inside a home converted into a pizza spot. It's cozy!

Pizza was one of my favorites in Portland, i got a white pizza add Italian sausage. I definitely recommend getting a dip for your crust because there's a lot of it.

We were excited to try this spot in our neighborhood! Ambiance was great inside on a wintery night. We were surprised, but not off-put, by the method for ordering. You can order via QR code at your table, or take a card up to the counter. Our pizza arrived surprisingly fast, but then our appetizer and salad never came. We flagged someone down because, without a dedicated server, the rest of our order was forgotten. They were busy, we get it! And once we made them aware it was resolved quickly. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and we are excited to return. One disappointment was the ranch, which was giving Hidden Valley.

Unique pizza establishment with a small inside dining room and an outdoor patio that is warm and well insulated from the outdoors. The sourdough crust is what they're known for, and it did not disappoint! It was the best part of the pizza. They offer dipping sauces for the crust which we unfortunately saw after we had ordered so we didn't get to try them. The service, while friendly, was a little disappointing. We ordered two pizzas and they forgot to fire the second pizza, and it took an additional 30 minutes to come out. I was also puzzled by the fact that they didn't cut the slices through all the way, and when we asked about it, they gave us scissors and told us to look underneath the pizza to finish the cuts because that's the way they serve them. It would have been better if they explained that in the first place and gave the scissors with the pizza.

10/10 recommend!! Their food was so delicious. Tried a couple pizzas but the Pepperoni Jalapeño Hot Honey was my absolute favorite! Their customer service is excellent, they're super attentive & super friendly. Recommend booking reservations bc it can get v busy.

I have several reasons stacked up as to why - I am highly allergic to…read moreHops and Pot so getting stoned and tossing cheap beers back is not for me, nor is smelling it or people doing that since... yeah thanks no. A lot of dive bar food is made with beer whether the menu says it or not and it is usually just a tragedy. I get it - drunk folks do not care what they are eating but the menu is about the same at most places. A friend wanted to attend a Shakespeare interactive play here. Since it was starting at 7pm and I live in Beaverton I was not going to have time to get over here and eat so I looked up the bar online. I was curious at the Mediterranean food but also very happy since that is not made with beer. My friend arrived before me and grabbed up perfect seats. We realized it was going to be a full house so we had better order food which was super easy to do. Can I also throw in that on their wall behind the bar they have chips you can just grab from the bartender... FRITOS, which are one of my favorite things. But thank you - just that... I was not drinking and just having soda with the show and some food but I could genuinely see having a few drinks and just grabbing one for a small snack. Our food, even with the bussel busy Friday night, came pretty fast and all the folks taking orders and serving were super friendly, wanting to help. I wanted the chicken gyro but they ran out so I gave their falafel a go - the falafel was a touch on the over mark but was still pretty delicious and I opted for a 'side' salad which I thought was strange to upcharge $3 for until it arrived and was INSANE... so huge! I got a side of onion rings too which were ridiculously good...seriously some of the best damned rings I have had and I could not stop eating them so that, my friends, was dinner... I had to take most of the gyro and salad to go. That salad ...later...I had an avocado I needed to use up at home and with their dressing. It was incredible! Amusing thing is that there is a vegan restaurant my friend had wanted to try near here and we did. Had the WORST experience and this was perfect... when we are over here this just earned itself a place as a go to spot for me. I might even drink here sometime HAHAHAHA!

The bartender was taking so long to pour shots and make a mixed drinks that our 3 other friends walked out. We downed our drinks and left to go elsewhere because the service was soooo slow.

Warm, welcoming, nerdy, and friendly atmosphere…read more Did I mention nerdy? This is almost just as much of a D&D shop as it is a brewery! If you are not playing Magic the Gathering or D&D, you will feel like the 'weird one'! Beers are good, with a couple lagers, a stout, and some IPA's. The food is surprising! You'd think they'd phone-it-in, but there's a great selection of Latin food. Everything from Cubanos to bowls to burritos.

TPK Brewing is a super fun brewery that Steve and I have enjoyed twice now. There is a lot to love…read morefor me with this brewery. The fantasy and the Dungeons & Dragons themes are really fun and totally calls to me. So therefore with our first experience here I stocked up on a lot of swag- shirts! My first beer with this brewery was a Red Ale or Amber Ale, The Lady of Embers. This was a very enjoyable first time beer with this brewery. Flavor features in this beer are Caramel, a roastiness, maltiness, biscuity and a dry finish. It proved to be a fun beer to try out for the first time and we were eager to come back and try more of their beers. A bit of time passed and we were able to do that. This time we got three different beers of different types to give us a well rounded experience with their beers. Cascade Falls was the first beer on the second experience that we delved into. This beer is a Cream Ale and I haven't had one in a while so I was quite eager to get a hold of another one again. This particular Cream Ale had peaches and vanilla as the primary flavors and they were pretty good. It was sweet but not heavy handed which made this beer pleasant. This beer was a collaboration beer with another brewery, Thunder Island Brewing Company. After that I moved into dark beer territory and got a stout by the name of The Ashbringer. This one I rated very highly on Untappd because I enjoyed the flavor profile so very much! This stout has flavor highlights of roastiness, a spiced presence, coffee, chocolate and some clove. It was a really well made stout...well balanced and one I really got into. I believe actually this was my favorite beer out of the several I have tried. The last beer was a Marzen beer, a type that isn't too terribly common but always a good one when I can get a hold of it. The name of this beer was the Hasta La Raiz. This is a nice light bodied beer that has maltiness, roastiness, some fruitiness and a bit of a floral presence. It was a fun one to try out for sure. TPK Brewing also serves food and it's quite good! We grazed off of several different appetizers here that we really enjoyed. The first one was the Yuca Frita which was Yucca cut into big, thick French Fries sort cuts and we dipped it into a green sauce as well as a pico de gallo type of dip which enhanced the experience. In addition to that we got a beef empanada that Steve and I split along with the same sauces...also excellent and then to round out our snacking here we got the Arepitas De Queso which is a white masa cake mixed with cheese and then deep fried. It also had the same sauces as the previous two appetizers but we were fine with that... we were all about it and deep into it. Steve and loved this place and would be thrilled to come back to enjoy more of their food and beers !
