I absolutely love this Cici's. If my rating was based on the pizza alone, then I would give three and a half stars, but the staff definitely deserves five. The pizza is a little better than average, but not the best. You can ask them to make any kind of pizza you want, which is pretty great. I love the macaroni and cheese pizza, the alfredo pizza and the spinach pizza. They also offer salad (with many toppings such as cherry tomatoes, jalapenos, carrots, red onion, crutons, four different salad dressings, etc.), different kinds of soup and pasta with two sauce options (a spaghetti-type sauce and an alfredo sauce). Oh, and the four different kinds of desserts are mind-blowing. The cinnamon rolls are perfect. The service is fantastic. They always greet everyone with a smile. They always ask if they can help with anything you need. You can ask for a pizza with pineapple and green chile and they'll make it quickly and bring it to your table! Not the best quality but its inexpensive, you get what you pay for. And what you get is pretty good for the price. My favorite pizza's are the olé and the spinach. Unfortunately I have to leave this CiCi's a bad review... :( I'm a fan of this chains pizza buffet but this location def. let me down. I first called in asking a question about their pricing and the woman answering the phone told me I could go to cicis.com to get more info.... Only problem is it's actually cicispizza.com, lol. When my gf I arrived we place an order at the buffet line for them to make us a special pizza since there were limited vegetarian options. We wanted one half of the custom pizza to have pineapple. It arrives with Canadian bacon & pineapples. But.... We're vegetarian. So I tell the guy it's ok, we'll just take the meat off and give it to our dogs. He asks if he can make us another one and I say, "No, thanks." He then brings us another whole pizza with pineapple only. There's no way we can comfortably eat all this pizza. And guess what? I hate food waste. So after a few minutes I approach the counter and ask the same guy if I can have a to go box since he made us another pizza that we now can't finish... His answer is I can purchase one for $4.99. Or pay per slice @ .75 a slice. And he's rigid/stern on this, almost assuming an asshole-y tone with me. So to recap, even though it's his fault we have all this extra food, he won't let us take it out. I'm guessing he assumed we wanted meat on the pizza, he assumed we wanted to extra pizza even though I said no, and he assumed we didn't mind throwing away excess food like most other people. So, 3 assumptions = 3 fails. We ended up just scarfing it all and leaving very disgruntled. Really sucks this one is the only location in ABQ. Oh yeah, and I almost forgot- The desserts were old and stale being as they were closing soon and I suppose didn't see a need to put out anything fresh. Boo! read more

Worst buffet I have ever had! It feels like walking into a large hall where food is off to one side (wedding, birthday, ect...) except food is not worth eating. They use nacho cheese on their pizza, sauce is very watery,salad is old missing many items(tomatoes, onions,ect....). Now I should note the place was air conditioned, and relatively clean, but I ain't paying $6+ for that. I am shocked that in a city which hospitality is their Forte this restaurant is still in business. Not worth the $6.43 after tax. I want a refund. Go to Dell Taco in the same plaza, or soup plantation for a quality buffet. I should have known a buffet that advertises on television would be garbage... No matter the time of day or how busy they are, the employees are always friendly and helpful. Today we arrived about 30 minuets before closing. I just went here after a friend of mine told me to stop by. It is not the greatest pizza in the world, but the deals are fantastic. A great, safe clean family friendly environment. I have had no trouble with the staff, and they were also pretty short staffed. After a long day, my boyfriend and I got off work super late and had previously decided during the day to go eat at Cici's and when we didn't get off until 9:30 felt sooo bummed. I decided to call and ask what time they closed etc. and they offered to keep the buffet open for us a little longer so that we could eat. Noel, Adonijah, David, and Harold welcomed us so kindly and warmly, and rather than be upset and bothered that they had to stay a little bit later were still such wonderful people who made us feel comfortable and created an environment that just felt kind. Because of them, we were able to enjoy a great meal after a long day and we are so so grateful. This was not our first experience at Cici's. I myself have been going here to eat with my uncle and cousins since I was little and I've always loved the environment and the delicious food for such an affordable price. After our experience at Cici's today, it won me over to write a Yelp review which I don't typically do unless the place either was truly horrifying or abundantly amazing. My family and I are really bad, my husband and my 2-year-old girl, the cashier charged 7.99 each and 6.99 for my 2-year-old girl just and forced us to drink I told her I wanted my ticket since I felt that it was too much money. What was he paying for, he did not want to give it to me, he refused and finally gave it to me cheaply soon and I saw that the avia charged a buffet of a 6-year-old child for my 2-year-old daughter who is still in a car and he saw that she was even Asleep soon I let him know that because he did it and his answer was I charge for each member of the family I felt really bad and demanded my reimbursement from my daughter of just 2 years he threw me my money and even so he decided to charge me 0.99 cents that It's a 3-year buffet I told her and she said she won't eat anything at all if she wakes up and I told her it's okay, leave it so I know you're getting over all the time you were closed, the salad stinks since they serve it to you even and just add a few vegetables to her really m We never go back to customer service it makes me a little sad since we always go and now because of its new managers and cashiers we will have to stop doing it read more

ALL YOU CAN EAT PIZZA BUFFET At $6 per person for all you can eat pizza, bread sticks, soup, and salad; how could you be disappointed? Answer: You can't. You get what you pay for in terms of ingredients, quality, etc. This is not a gourmet restaurant by any means. Nothing you eat here will be outstanding or life changing, but it will all be good. My least favorite thing was the marinara. It is fairly light, runny, and sweet. A bit ketchup-esque. But, it is not bad. In fact, nothing here is bad. I tried everything at least once and I liked all of it pretty well. The restaurant itself was clean and welll kept. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything was stocked up, the buffet was well maintained and contained only freshly made pizzas. The cinnamon rolls are delicious! The only people who will not have a good dining experience at CiCi's, in my opinion, are snobby hipster turds with puny appetites. Some people might scoff at the idea of a five dollar pizza buffet. Well, they would be right to scoff. Generally, the food here sucks, the service is non-existent, and the buffet is usually pretty barren. Most of the pizza is passable when it's fresh, and they offer a fairly large variety of toppings and styles. This is augmented by the fact that they will bake you any pie you want, just for you, if you ask. Some of their pizzas, like the buffalo chicken or the New Mexican, are unexpectedly decent, and their desert options are very tasty. So now the downside... The pizza tends to be mostly crust, with only a few bites per slice actually having toppings. I feel bad leaving the 'pizza bones' (as my nieces call them), but the crust is really bland. Because it's a buffet, of course, you can get as many slices as you want. Or at least that's the theory. In reality, the buffet is almost always running out of everything, with the staff scrambling to make pizza after pizza to fill it. I think this is because they give priority to the people order pizzas specifically, so when the the buffet line starts running dry and everyone starts ordering their own pies, they get even more backed up than they did before. Sometimes, ordering a pie of your own is the only way to really get something you want to eat. Good service in the regard, but a little misguided. Because of this system, nothing else in restaurant seems to get done. Tables don't get bussed or wiped down, and you can just forget about them taking the plates you've already used. Good thing you refill your own drinks or it would likely never happen. This is on a normal night. If there happens to be a kid's party or even a large group, all these problems become much worse. Alright, so why do I eat here? Well, when they are on their game and the place isn't too busy, it's well worth the five bucks. The pizza can be pretty decent and the service passable when they have fewer things to focus on. Other Cici's I've been to seem to handle their affairs with greater aplomb and organization as well, so maybe the aforementioned problems are just a produce of the way that this one location does things. read more

I love going to Cici's. I wish there were more around. Possibly one in Los Lunas. The BBQ pizza is my favorite. They don't put it on the buffet but they will make one for you if you ask. I had dinner Thursday 2-23-12 around 7pm and Everyone was great! the staff was helpful and nice, as was the Manager Steven, he was training a new employee and was "from what I saw" very detailed in everything he said. With all the coupons around two can normally eat for under 10 dollars for an all you can eat buffet. They have salad, pasta, bread sticks, pizza, and dessert pizza. If you do not see a pizza on the buffet you like you can order what ever you want. Kids love this place. read more

I don't know where to start... I loved this company for years, back when they had several locations it was a restaurant my family and I would often visit when I was a kid and it was great. Yesterday however when I decided to take my kid for her first visit to Cici's I was absolutely disgusted when I saw the gentleman that was putting up pizza boxes above the buffet step onto the buffet with his shoes and then not even clean up afterwards. Not only that but the buckets they used to refill the ice machine were disgusting underneath and the same thing... Right up on the counter where you get your drinks from the floor as the guy stood on a chair to fill the machine... and once again no one bothered to clean up afterwards. I am so disappointed. I used to love this place but now.... yuck. I never want to eat there again. My biggest regret was seeing this only after we had finished our meal. I am so revolted. I hope we didn't catch some virus, because heaven only knows what was crawling around on that counter there besides the pizza chef.
