I love me some Dion's! As usual, I ordered to pick up through the drive-through, which is convenient and easy. I generally order on the app and then drive through and pick up my order and I'm in and out and no time. I ordered a small pizza and a full salad with no mix. I have been so impressed with Dion's over the last few years because I've been able to get my salad without Dion's mix. Prior to that they would regularly mess up and give me the mix, which I cannot eat. It would ruin my whole salad, and I would end up having to throw it out. This issue seems to have been resolved! My salad was delicious and was as described, as was my pizza, which was scrumptious. I don't know what it is, but there's something about Dion's pizza crust! I can't get enough! I highly recommend Dion's anytime you're craving pizza. Even though they don't offer delivery, ordering through the app and driving through the drive-through is generally a quick process. We always order, wait ~20 minutes, pick.it up. Good. This time I ordered via their website...an hour ahead. I'm absolutely positive they made it when they received my order. It came out of the oven, sat for 45 minutes. Crust was shoe leather... couldn't eat it Cheese, rubbery, like old, cold pizza. I Will not order via their website again, IF I order from them at all. Consistently good like it was 30+ years ago. Came in with family and there's been some menu changes over the years. Examples of this are the smaller gourmet pizzas and goodies. The service was fast and friendly. The place is clean and no frills. I guess they can no longer leave paper plates out. My guess is too many were taken. read more

The first 2 were good but the meatball sub came 40 minutes late, and it was lukewarm without chips. Kept in fridge over night, on a cooler/ice, ate 1.5 hrs into my drive. A great Sunday night pie. We had the opportunity to watch Robert through the window as he single-handedly churned out perfect pie after pie. He is the hardest working guy we've seen all day. The place was clean, well staffed with attentive workers who were quick to jump in as needed to assist. We watched the entire process from their viewing platform and it helped fill the time. Got a pepperoni pizza for me and my two toddlers last night. I bit into my piece and chomped on something hard. I pulled it out of my mouth and it was a coiled piece of metal! Thank gooodness I didn't break a tooth and I don't even know if my kids swallowed any pieces. This is not okay at all. I have been going here for years and nothing like this has ever happened. This 100% needs to be addressed to employees to be more careful as this could have caused something serious. read more

This place is horrible. I used to work here, and the pay wasn't the best, probably because they would consistently make me clock out and send me home 10 minutes into my shift, when I was scheduled for 3-4 hours. The GM, AJ, is a questionable individual, a cheap one as well. He would have us remove ingredients from salads to be used again if no one picked it up. Absolutely nasty. I worked there for a little less than a year and never got a single raise, while plenty of my coworkers, would get raises one month in the job. This was a very bad experience for us as we do big corporate orders frequently. We placed our large order today, April 28th, at 10:45 and were told it would be ready before noon. When we hot there, the pizza was ready but they were just starting on 3 sandwiches. They told us that sandwiches take the longest to make. Dion's is a really good local pizza chain. You've never had ranch until you've had Dion's ranch. I do really like coming here for their pastrami sandwiches and their pizzas. Their salads are also really good, but this location specifically is kind of a toss-up with getting the right order. I can order a salad and it literally come with nothing I asked for. This is not uncommon at this location. I never have that issue at other locations which is why I am giving this location a 3. The food is a 5/5 if I get what I ask for but since it is a struggle most of the time it's hard to rate it well. read more

I recently had Dion's for lunch at a tech conference. There were many choices from turkey to roast beef to ham, but one caught my eye: the lettuce wrapped turkey. I really enjoy Dion's sandwiches, with turkey being my favorite. The bread on their sandwiches is always so nicely toasted and crispy. So, I thought why not try the lettuce wrapped version. After opening the box, the sandwich was nicely wrapped with turkey, tomato and a pickle. It was served with chips. The lettuce wrapping was quite crispy and fresh. It engulfed the sandwich as I was hoping for with each bite containing turkey, tomato, and a pickle. One draw back was that it didn't have any mayo on it. This could have been the way it was ordered or maybe because it's a healthier version that is standard, I am not sure. It did come with Greek dressing so mayo or not that was an addition that could have sufficed for a sauce; I didn't use it this time. Overall, a great alternative to their normal bread and one I'll most likely ask for the next time. I'd definitely recommend it! read more

Dion's is amazing and quintessential NM. Their ranch is the best in this world. Literally. We take Dion's ranch cups when we travel bc people look at you weird when you ask for ranch with your pizza. I go to this location often. We love Dion's but the the quality of the food was not good. I ordered a Spinach salad and there was no spinach a ton of lettuce. If they would have just said we are out, I get it, but don't just give me whatever you have. This location has gone downhill so far, I won't be going back. The last 4 of my orders from this location have been wrong. I have severe allergies and the other locations do a great job of not messing up but the Paseo location just doesn't care. It's the closest to my house but at this point- I'd drive to rio Rancho to get better service. Visiting my family in this part of town we got there late and none of us had eaten. Since we were to tired (lazy) to cook, I offered to pony up for some Dion's. We order online and requested the 505 pizza (green chili) and a full salad. Short story is it was awesome! Green chili was hot but not too hot, full of flavor! The salad was incredible! Dion's is known for their pizza so that's what I indulged in, with green chiles of course!! What I got was two slices of crust with green Chile. There needed to be more sauce, more cheese. They did not slack on the Chile topping though I just say, there was plenty of that. I did need to ask for marinara sauce just to make it a little messier! The pizza was also luke warm when it first came out, like it had been sitting a few minutes. The Chiles I wanted to be hotter for being in New Mexico.
