The pizza was great, but they didn't make it as how they used to make it. And I just saw that a customer with 2 little kids left because they stoped serving pizza. I went in this place and there were a lot of customers taking up about half the seats... the counter with the pizzas was only about 1/3 full... they had cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. I got two slices, sat down to eat them and waited... they put out more pizzas... more cheese pizza and more pepperoni pizza. i grabbed one more slice and I asked the employee who put them out if they could make a pepperoni & sausage pizza. She snapped at me, "If you want a SPECIALITY PIZZA, you can order and pay for it at the register!!". All I ever saw them put out were pepperoni and cheese pizzas... nothing else... I think they had a dessert thing, I don't have any interest in that stuff. Not only that, it was very expensive, they charged me about $12.50 for a buffet & drink. I had just moved here..... the last Cici's I had gone to came to about $9 for a buffet and a drink with tax... . And that one had a decent selection of pizzas. I know that this Cici"s isn't supposed to only put out cheese pizzas and pepperoni pizzas on the buffet, I don't know what was going on. Not only that, it was a weird vibe... one group with an adult, a couple of teens, and 3 or 4 young kids were the only other people eating... all kinds of people were sitting at tables talking but I never saw any of them eat... none of them had any plates or drinks, they all acted like they were attending a work meeting or something. There were two guys far away from the buffet line sitting at a table with a laptop and a bunch of papers... and drinks from some other place. I hate that I wasted money in this place. The only reason I gave a 1 is because you can't give a 0 the store was nasty. The salad bar and pizza bar was not full food all over the bar there was a male employee behind the buffet handing out pizza slices to a customer so she didn't have to stand in line and wait on pizza the food wasn't good. Employees were not friendly. This location needs new management the manager on duty. I saw the familiar CiCi's logo across the street from the hotel that I was staying at and found myself awash in memories of when my kids were younger and always wanted CiCi's for their pizza and the video games. So it was not too hard of s decision on where I would be having dinner on this particular evening. Let's get this out right away, CiCi's will never win any awards for their pizza. It is a typical conveyor belt through an oven type pizza. However, you can't beat the price. All you can eat pizza, pasta, and salad for six dollars and change. This is s big allure there and, if kids are involved, the games will bring smiles to their faces and will hopefully be stored as a fond childhood memory. I will say that my daughter is still a fan of CiCi's at twenty three. My go to has always been the pizza ole, kind of a taco pizza and they made one up for me. Not necessarily good pizza, but it filled my stomach and maybe rekindled a few memories of a time of early parenthood. In fact, I seen a couple walking out with their child and I wanted to tell them to cherish this time for sooner than they think it will be gone. When I went on a lunch break there were four hardworking employees staying on top of every pizza and there was a lady walking around constantly cleaning and tidying up the restaurant. I was immediately stop by Megan who abruptly said "Our dining room closes in 10 minutes!" the entire staff stopped to look as if we weren't allowed to sit and eat. They are probably stealing from you please look at your receipts. I said "we need 2 adult buffets and 2 kid buffets". She said ok and told me the price of $36ish. I thought that sounded like a lot but paid and immediately noticed on my receipt that she charged 2 adult drinks. I said to her, you charged me for 2 drinks. She said I have you the cups didn't I?? And I said but I didn't say anything about drinks....I said I wanted 2 adult buffets and 2 kid buffets. She refunded me but that would have been an almost extra $5 if I hadn't noticed. Went to go get water from the machine and the water button got stuck. Went up to a worker and told them the button for the water is stuck and won't stop running. He came over and the button unstuck it self but he said "well you aren't supposed to get water from the soda fountain we sell it in bottles........I said why do you have a water button then and no sign or anything mentioning that....I'm not paying for water when its complementary at 99.9% of restaurants in America....and we aren't a family that drinks soda. DO NOT GO HERE! When me and my family came here they had NO drinks but water and sweet tea. Because of the inconvenience, we suggested that the water be complementary. I always wanted to try this place and despite the negative reviews, my granddaughter and I tried Cici's for the first time yesterday. She is a vegetarian so we were really happy to see a few veggie pizza choices. The salad bar alone was worth the price of the meal. The place was clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the food was great for $9 (I had a coupon). I just had the most humiliating experience at Cici's Pizza here in Huntsville, University Drive. I went with my kids and their soccer team. While everyone paid separately, I have personally chosen to order a large pizza for myself and my kids to eat there along with 3 drinks. The place was pretty busy. We waited to be seated and again for our pizza to get ready. Ok so far! As I went up to check if my pizza was ready, the person who waited on me sliced my pizza, placed it in the box and as she was handing the pizza to me she told me as per restaurant policy since it was a "To go pizza" I could not eat at the restaurant, therefore I had to leave. I was appalled. She knew I was with the group of kids there. I had to return to the table and tell all of my daughter's teammates that we had to leave because we could not eat the pizza we had just bought there with them. I was never told any of that at the time of purchasing it. My kids were crying they had to be pulled away from their friends as we celebrated the end of the season. We are a military family, by the way, and we have NEVER EVER been treated that way anywhere in the world. I feel so angry and upset with the horrendous customer service there. read more

No matter what they say about the pizza being so so, I think it's pretty good, especially for the price. Let me start with the cheese. I hate pizza with cheese that's too chewy. You're trying to chew and swallow and some of the cheese doesn't want to let go and drop down. It's saying, "I ain't going down there." OK, don't let me get sidetracked. My point is, you can down a lot of CiCi's pizza because the cheese isn't all chewy. Now, that covers the cheese; The crust. The crust is pretty good and not too filling. Yes one of the tricks to pizza buffet style eating is to not fill up on the end crust. Man, I sound like a pizza eating fool. Anyway, you won't feel full eating CiCi's crust (for some reason I've yet to figure out). The cheesy/garlic bread is excellent and I sometimes eat more of this than pizza. make sure to get some when it first comes out and is fresh. Sometimes when it gets cold, its not so good. But the workers will be happy to let you know when some more comes out or bring it right to you. Same thing with pizza. If there is something you want, they will make it for you right then. They will bring it to you when it comes out. They will bring however many slices you ask for. I've seen some people get the whole pizza with their favorite toppings and eat the whole thing. Remember now, this is a buffet. This is not the place to go if you are looking for somewhere nice and quiet with dim lighting. This is an open air environment where filling on pizza is the goal (or at least that's the way it seems). The staff is very friendly and that is the CiCi's way. They keep the pizzas coming constantly. And there are lots of "welcome to CiCi's" and "thank you for coming". The place was trashed, we should have left when we seen the health score was 87. All of the pizza's looked the same, there was only 3-4 options anyways lol. What really made this with three star review was that the place was completely filthy with no attempts to clean it up. I have been to this Cici's several times and every time I've had the same below average service. I believe in giving places more than just once chance, but as much as I like the pizza that's on the buffet..the environment ruins my visit every time. Me and my fiancé looked for a decently clean table for a good 5 minutes before settling for the best one and cleaning it our selfs with napkins. I only saw someone cleaning tables once and it consisted of taking the plates and every other table he would wipe it down with a dirty rag. Which explains why most of the tables that are "clean" are sticky and sprinkled with crumbs. The floors are also sticky.. The buffet does have decent pizza..when there's pizzas to choose from. Usually it was a few pizzas with maybe 3 pieces left and sometimes they were cold. One pro is the desserts. They are pretty awesome and fresh because everyone was eating them, but still doesn't justify everything else being horrible. Stevi B's is 100% better all around, if you haven't tried it then you definitely should. read more

Went there on a Friday for dinner the manager and staff had very little pizza on the buffet despite a 3/4 full restaurant, 4 pizzas to be exact and none n the oven or no staff making any, then came the bus load of high school football players there was literally no pizza and the manager and staff could not keep up. My family and I left and went somewhere else to eat. The restaurant was dirty. I have been to this cici's before and it was bad then. But it is worse now. I would not recommend this cici's to anybody for birthday parties or even for lunch or dinner. The manage needs to step up. One time I was in there for lunch and advertisers were in there getting a feel foe the restaurant so they could advertise it.
