Went to Cici's pizza in Sherman today for the buffet. The salad was great and the pizza was also. The lady that waited on us at noontime today was very friendly and sweet. And the guy who was making the pizza went on and beyond in keeping it stocked. Even though there were quite a few people there, there was a guy who was working very hard to keep the tables clean even though there were a lot to clean he kept a steady pace working hard for clean tables. Cicis is by far the best bang for your buck in Sherman, TX. For the full buffet with a refillable drink, you only end up spending about $12! The staff also does a good job at keeping the restaurant clean, even when many small children that make messes are around. Also, the kitchen is very prompt with their orders, not leaving an empty spot on the buffet for more than 5 minutes. Compared to the other Cicis that i've been to, this one is definitely my favorite!!!!! read more

Food is very dry, they bring out fresh food like every 2 hours they're is usually old dry food on the buffet tables are very unsanitary and floors are dirty found a hair in my table soon as I was seated. Very unpleasant but the food is tasty for the price when it's fresh. read more

Seems to me that CiCi's needs to do some serious quality checks on their restaurants. Every single one the reviews make them sound like the last place anyone would want to go. I remember the CiCi's that we had in our town got shut down for serious health violations - rats were eating the ingredients in the food locker. If they don't take their restaurants to task they will end up ALL shut down for good. read more

When you go to cici's you always know what you are getting food wise, it's always consistent and not crazily priced. What's really a plus though is when you come across an employee who genuinely seems to care about their job and putting a smile on the customer's face as Mark does from the Sherman Cici's. I came in today with the girl I've been seeing for a couple months and she is a vegetarian, she mentioned wanting a Alfredo pizza with pineapple so I went up to request one and I had just asked for it to be put at the buffet and he's like at the buffet? How about a personal one for the table? We look over at her and she gives the thumbs up. When I went back up to get the pizza he said if there's anything else to let him know. Wow I know it's a Cicis. I did not come in expecting much more than a buffet. But at 7:15 pm on a Tuesday they failed even that basic expectation. They fell behind the curve early on and did not have the skill set to recover. Add to that the two pieces of pizza that fell on the floor and stayed there like they were in it for the long haul. Very disappointed.. My boyfriend and I went there for lunch yesterday and I do my norm go to order a BBQ pizza to my table. The guy behind the bar walked passed me 4 times didn't even acknowledge I was there so I went to my table and told my boyfriend so he went up there and the guy did the same thing. Finally my boyfriend yelled to get his attention and got the pizza ordered. The guy brought the pizza to my table and I picked up a slice and saw something on the bottom. There was spinach and Alfredo sauce cooked in the bottom. Do they not clean their pans after they make a new pizza? How long has it been on there? So my boyfriend took it back up there and told them the issue and he brought another pizza to our table. Proceeded to tell us the black stuff was from the heat. We went to eat here for the first time and were not impressed. The restaurant wasn't all that clean, you could see trash under the tables through the window from the outside of the store. The food was blah, nothing special, didn't seem to have much, if any, flavor. They only accept cash, no other options. They do have an ATM machine so you can get cash, but you know the restaurant is getting the money from that too. I won't go here again. read more

Food was just ok. We arrived 2.5 hours before closing and they were mopping, sweeping, and shutting down the buffet. I went to refill my drink and tables and chairs had magically blocked me from my table with a 16 year old mopping behind them. Upon leaving I told the manager why I was unsatisfied and he said,"Yeah we have to start cleaning now or we'll never get done." Will never return to this location.
