Let me start out by saying that the pizza is acceptable. However, this place is pretty gross. Some of the "clean" plates had tiny bits of food on them. There was food on the floor. I started eating CiCi's pizza when there was a location closer to my house, I stopped going to that one because it was getting dirty and the clientele wasn't helping the situation either so I stopped going, shortly after that location closed and I thought that we were done with Cici's Pizza. I discovered this location by word of mouth and decided to give it a try and see if I had any better luck. I went in at the busiest hour, lunchtime. there was a large group of kids I'm guessing that just got out of school there to fill up the place, I didn't get deterred and proceeded to the counter. the girl behind the counter was pleasant and helpful, and even used those long forgotten phrases "Thank you" and "please come again" and of course "May I help you" I got my glass and proceeded around to the food. The salad looked crisp and fresh so I put together a small one and loaded it up with the small amount of toppings they had available. The group of kids had just gone through the line so that meant that the pizzas were all gotten and as I approached the counter, my assumptions were oh so correct and there was maybe a slice or 2 to be had. the workers quickly worked to fill the counters up again with fresh pizzas which worked to my advantage and I was treated to some hot right out of the oven pizzas which made this visit an exceptional one. would I return for another visit? yes just because the pizza and salad were both fresh and left me feeling satisfied, the cleanliness of the place leaves a little to be desired, but that might have been attributed to the busy part of the day.. read more

A family of 2 adults and 2 kids can get full on above average pizza, salad and so-so pasta and sauce for less than $20 - 'nuff said, pretty much. I will also add that garlic cheese bread is great, and the kids LOVE the freshly baked cinnamon rolls. I like the salad bar, with red onions, peppers, olives and a variety of dressings. I can custom order pizzas (NO EXTRA CHARGE!) pretty much any which way. My wife LOVES the bbq chicken pizza, but doesn't like the red onions. On the other hand, I don't eat chicken. So, naturally, we order BBQ chicken pizza with all of the onions on 1 side and all the of the chicken on the other! Oh, and on occasion, I like to order anchovies pizza - amazing that that's an option. They do switch pizzas out on occasion, and some recipes are better than others. Cici's Pizza seems to get a lot of crap about the quality of its food, and frankly, I have to disagree. If you're looking for beer and pizza with a ton of different toppings on it, look elsewhere, bit if you're looking for decent pizza, a game room, an adequate salad bar, two kinds of tea, apple pie pizza, brownies, mini cinnamon rolls, and a fair selection of drinks, you should at least give this place a chance. I may not be the world's expert on pizza, but I can appreciate a good cheese, Alfredo, or macaroni and cheese pizza pretty much any time. They'll also bring a custom pizza right to your table if you don't see what you want at the buffet bar, and you don't have to be buying a specific pizza for them to do it. I've only bought the buffet and drink option, and I've gotten pretty much exactly what I wanted every time. The only reason I never got a cheese pizza with olives, buffalo wing sauce, pineapples, and pasta is because I've been too afraid to ask for it. read more

I won't be back. The place is busy and they have lines waiting just to get a piece of pizza off the buffet. They can't keep up with the pizza or even clean plates, yet they still keep allowing people to come in. People are irate all around me. It's ridiculous. read more

Okay, this would be a 5 star for price, but 1 for taste and quality. So I guess 3 is a good mix. It's great for kid, especially on Wednesdays when the price is only 99 cents. I normally don't review small chain restaurants. I felt the need to make an exception for this place. I'm impressed!!! So clean. So fresh. Asked for a pizza to be made. Made a personal sized one, asked my name, and brought it out to me. The manager remembered my name and used it each time I spoke with him thanking him for the service. My friend and I went here after a day of shopping because we hadn't been in years. We walked in and immediately got a disrespectful attitude from the cashier. The food supply wasn't stocked and the cooks were screaming "will you watch counter while i go pee?" and "i gotta pee so badly" The person working on bussing tables , their pants were sagging, hat was not on all the wa, didn't offer to take our plates, and all around hadd a bad attitude.. Tables were not clean and floors were not swept. The workers behind the counters did not seem to care about their apperences. I'm sorry but in all honesty the only good things was the soda. I'm not sure what the people below issues have been but My husband and I have been to CiCi's to MANY times probably once a week and we have never ran into dirtiness or unclean plates the pizza has always been hot, the staff nice and helpful. People to do a lot of special order pizzas but I've been to other pizza buffets and they did also. It's cheap it's good and it's clean. We've been there during many rushes a high school football team of 27, birthday parties, after church rush, dinner rush and they have alway kept up. read more

Good deal but the only thing we like as older people were the cinnamon rolls! We were quite discouraged to the fact that they charge for children 4 years and younger sorry baby had a pay for him he doesn't leave hardly a pinch of anything. This is the second time for trying cici's pizza, and it most likely will be the last time. Wearied both of the locations in St. Louis and both location sucked. All pizzas are oily and there is way less options comparing with pizza street. Another thing is they don't have ice cream, but they do have brownies and a cheesecake-like pizza. read more

This Cici's doesn't deserve even 2.5 stars. The pizza was cold in the middle and the bacon stuffed pizza was so cold the cheese had congealed. There was a hair on my boyfriend's pizza. When we asked for a refund, the cashier told us "I don't give refunds." Sad restaurant. The Cici's on Manchester (22 minutes away) is fifty times better. read more

My family and I called and talked to the manager and was quoted they close at 10 pm. So we just left our house which is 15 minutes away. We pulled in the parking lot just now at 9:25 pm. The doors were locked and we look and there still customers in the building and notion for the manager and the 2 employees shake their heads no. Mind you my 17 month old son and 7 year needed to eat dinner. I have worked in the restaurant industry for almost 20 years. Every guest is to be taken care of up til the time of closing. The star rating is accurate, we had not been here in a very long time. Everyone seemed very excited about the choices on the pizza bar, however I have never seen so many personal orders being placed by customers. The wait staff seemed to deliver the personal pizzas' promptly to each table who had ordered them. Cleanliness was another matter most if not all tables were trashed upon our arrival and 35 minutes later at least 4 tables had not been cleaned off! Yucch! Everything was OK, until after our meal, when Mrs. C returned from the ladies room. I don't know what happened in there (or what she encountered or saw) but she was white as a sheet and headed almost straight for the door. I brought the issue to the attention of the person who was wearing the blue shirt - he appeared to be a manager of some type. He profusely apologized and stated that he has personally checked the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of the restrooms before the little "rush" had begun. I think the rush was dinner time on a Saturday night! he never offered us any thing except he would check it out. We left. We will not be back. read more

I was happy to know that we would be able to stop at a Cici's to eat lunch on our way home from a vacation. I recently had weight loss surgery. Following surgery the surgeon had requested on his business card asking for supporting restaurant cashiers if they would charge me a child portions and child prices, my stomach is a 4 ounce stomach. Joe, the manager came up behind the cashier and abruptly said "we don't do that here". The young man waiting on us had a wet paper towel up to his eye. I asked if he was ok and he said that he got hot pepper juice in his eye. As Joe the manager swiftly walked away from us. The young man pulled the paper towel away from his eye and asked the manager "does my eye look red?" Joe the manager did not even look that way to actually SEE if the young man's eye was red. Joe replied, "NO". This manager needs to for one learn better communication skills and also know that if he has a crew member injured, he needs to address it. I was completely UNSATISFIED with the service I received! The pizza was cold, the pasta was hard & dry, & there were literally only about 4 different pizza toppings available, and since I was so disgusted by the food presented to me I asked for a refund, in doing so the store manager Joe rejected my request & became completely sarcastic with me which was not appreciated at all! I then asked for the store owners number in which he gave me a number that went directly to voice mail! Just went here for dinner tonight. The deal all you can eat for 5 bucks is freaken awesome if you're an obese person who eats more than a cow. The pizza is very mediocre and when we got there, there was a very limited selection of pizza. Didn't try the salad, lettuce looked brown, didn't trust the pasta either. Apparently tonight was the "every hoosier in South County night at Cici's" and their obnoxious overweight kids who waste their parents money at the game machines. Besides from that I lost my appetite when I saw some fatass kid (couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl) walked in and came back to his table with about 20 pieces of pizza and then began eating ferociously. He must've thought that Cici's was running out of pizza. This kid must've ate at least 40 pieces of pizza while he was there. Cici's almost suffered a loss on this kid but because they are able to make pizzas for 20 cents they barely profited off of him. Bottom line- Pizza is mediocre but it's a good deal if you are an obese hoosier, which consisted of about 75% of people there tonight. read more
