This is my first visit to this casino, since it transitioned from the Lumere Casino, The casino is now a Caesar Casino property. I had a good experience at the casino, but there's not as many slot machines and tables as I expected. The staff is very helpful.

Meh I don't know. First, we walked here which takes you through a rougher part of town, under a bridge where you may be accosted for money, and then down a hill. I would recommend Uber'ing here. The inside was nice, I liked the decor, seemed clean. We were only eyeballed and then let in as it was obvious we were over 21, and the security was nice enough. However, this wasn't the best experience I have had with how pushy players are, the dealers a little too weathered and overworked, and the staff much of the same. Looks like they have some entertainment there and again - nice place but not sure I will return. Recommended to try - I liked it as a one-time visit.

    Mold in the vents

What a horrible experience from the beginning, we made reservations several weeks ahead of time we got an email stating be there by 12:59. We were not able to get there until about 2 o'clock where we are informed. There are no rooms ready and check-in is not till 4 PM.. we went next-door had a nice dinner and came back at 3:30. They were finally rooms ready but they let us know. We have to pay an extra $15 for early check-in even though they are aware of the mixup with the emails. I called her one 800 number the lady had me hand the phone to the desk clerk where she told him to waive the fee he told her no at this point I was frustrated enough. I said just cancel my whole reservation and give me a refund. No they wouldn't do that either. I would have to pay a cancellation fee. I get into the room and it stinks and smells musty and this is even a suit I start looking around. There's mold in the vents half the elevators near our room were shut down so we had to walk to the other side get in those elevators, then walk all the way back around. There Is piles of laundry on the floor in the hall just a horrible experience all around

I realized why I don't enjoy coming to Lumiere immediately after I walked in, the cigarette smoke is overbearing. I remember when they first opened it not smelling so overwhelming but I guess the years of patrons smoking is seeping into the building. I'm used to non-smoking casinos, I hope Lumiere will change the policy on smoking, it smells disgusting. I was proud to see how the team wore masks and many people were cleaning the slot machines throughly. Many of the seats were removed allowing for social distancing. I'm sure the regulars who want a socially safe environment enjoy the casino but the smoke makes me feel unsafe, I won't be returning.

    Dirtiness

We booked the top suite for 1 night with the kids. When we got there one elevator was broken. We went up to our room on the second floor. Everything was bland, the couch was tiny, it had a table with four chairs, just a couple wall hangings, no brochure for what to do in the city. Bathroom small and old, bedroom decent sized. We could not switch HDMI for the kids to play there XBox they don't have that. It had a gas smell in the room. The bed was not very nice at all. The room was filthy, dried blood on the light fixture shade, mattress stained, couch had cigarette burn, staines all over the furniture. Pubs in the showers and on toilet. We did not stay we checked out late at tnight. Did not feel comfortable staying. Best stay at the four season or elsewhere. Terrible room for a luxury suite.

My girlfriend and I made a random stop at Lumiere Place since we had finished our initial itinerary in St. Louis. We had no expectations upon entering the casino, but it was not one of the better ones that we had been to in recent memory. First off, the parking was free on the Sunday that we had visited so we didn't need to apply for a casino rewards card, but we did so anyway on the casino floor rewards center. Second, we didn't explore much of the casino, but we did make our way around the floor a few times and it wasn't that big. Of course, there were slot machines everywhere and the table games were mainly in the middle of the casino, with the exception of the small poker room. Third, we really disliked the fact that the casino allowed for smoking throughout so there was smoke EVERYWHERE we walked. Basically, it was unavoidable. Lastly, since we're from the East coast, we weren't used to the free self-service beverage stations located on the casino floor. We were shocked to see that, but I guess that's how they do it in the mid-west. Good for them and good for the customers because who knows how much people have lost here. We didn't get a chance to eat at the buffet, sit at the Wet Willie's by the casino floor or explore other parts of the casino, but there didn't seem to be much else inside. There was nothing too glamorous about the casino or anything that stood out in particular.

I'm not much of a gambler but I do love to get out and about around my city. I've played a slot or 2 or 3 or 4 however, I come for people watching, food and amenities. I've eaten at The Kitchen Buffet restaurant which wasn't bad; the food was pretty fresh and well rotated, the also make fresh omelets and waffles to order in the mornings. There is sushi, chicken (fried & baked) pork, turkey, beef. Plenty of salad options and a small fresh fruit area. Desserts consist of pies, cake, cookies, gelato and mini tarts. Lots of seating and not disturbed by the nearby casino crowd. It 's nice if you're with a large group and don't mind buffet style dining.

The hotel was nice and a great view, but if you want to win here good luck. I loved the stairs when you drive in and the view of the bridge.

A surprisingly nice casino for the midwest. Impressed with the amenities and the layout. A nice, modern look as well. I enjoyed my visit.

The staff were very nice and courteous from everyone I encountered while there. I arrived early and my room was available, which I was thankful for; however, the early check in fee was a little steep but at least they were able to charge less due to the agreement with the conference organizer. The last day of the conference I asked to have a late checkout as I wanted to be able to go back to my room after 12 pm and change clothes. I was told that for a late checkout it'd be a charge of half the room rate. That was way too much. I wasn't going to stay long, I just wanted to keep my clothes in the room until I could come back and change before heading out the door to the airport. I'd recommend this resort to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the St. Louis area and look forward to my next trip...I'll just make sure not to check in early, or ask for a late checkout.

Having access to the VIP lounge, plus front parking, makes visits smooth and convenient. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and really comfortable, which is perfect if you want to turn your casino visit into a full overnight stay. Overall, Casino Queen has become my go-to spot. The wait-staff situation is kind of confusing and at times we were waiting for so long my husband just went to the bar. We saw our waitress behind the bar for a good amount of time as well without taking a break to check on her area of seated tables, we assumed/hoped they were just shorthanded, or maybe they just assume people are planted for a while.

As for the hotel, we didn't like adjoining rooms next to strangers and the people to our other side played loud music but we didn't want to cause any issues. First, the bathroom door was a barn-door style, which offered about as much privacy as a screen door. Not ideal when you're sharing a room. The king-size bed was another disappointment. The mattress cover and sheets clearly didn't fit the bed properly, so every time we tried to get comfortable or move around in our sleep, everything came loose. Nothing says "luxury hotel" quite like wrestling with your bedding all night. To make matters worse, the room was hot as hell. We turned the thermostat all the way down to 60 degrees and set the fan to high, but it never seemed to make a difference. Whether the thermostat was just there for decoration or the air conditioning had decided to take the night off, I have no idea. Either way, getting comfortable enough to sleep was a challenge. Then there was the shower. That was an interesting experience. To turn it on, you literally had to step into the shower because the controls were on the opposite side from the door. So, if you enjoy starting your shower with an unexpected blast of cold water, this setup is perfect for you. If you'd rather ease into warm water, well, sorry about your luck unless you're one of those lucky people with Go Go Gadget arms who can somehow reach the controls without getting soaked. As for the shower floor, once it got wet, it was slick as hell. They did provide a tiny rubber mat, but stepping on it felt like walking barefoot across a pile of Legos. I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, and for the price, this one simply wasn't worth it. I've stayed in $65 a night hotels that provided a much better overall experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling like I paid premium prices for a budget-level stay.
