There are very few that make you feel like family is feeding you. The decor is wonderfully warm and inviting. Making you feel like you genuinely stepped into a restaurant back in Brazil. The food is indescribably good. We had some of the best steak and fish ever. The desserts were amazing. The spareribs were beyond reproach. Whatever restaurant you might consider. A big disappointment when we first arrived. We had made a reservation for four at 7, but they didn't have any tables for us. So we were seated in their barroom in the corner, surrounded by all sorts of things that the restaurant had piled on other tables that were not put away in storage as yet., such as piles of paper napkins in their plastic wrappers that came from the restaurant store, and an unused griddle, and ledgers on another table. We were assured by the owner's wife that we would not be forgotten with the churrasco service. We weren't. That was good but we still felt uncomfortable as if we were imposing, to be seated where we were, as a complete afterthought despite making a reservation on their website a few days ago. The buffet: The sides were not replenished and a lot of them were quite dried out. Many empty platters. The churrasco service: Beef sausage was good, not overcooked. Spicy beef sausage was very good. Skirt steak was cold, charred and very dry. Beef bacon was dry. Picanha was cold, tough and dry. Lamb was tender and correctly seasoned. Pineapple was not even grilled. It was covered with a thin layer of cinnamon as if to simulate grilled char on it. It was very disappointing. Filet mignon was warm, somewhat tender, but extremely salty. It was already in small pieces and these scraps were seemed to have been hurriedly removed off the skewers and repositioned prior to serving us. The dessert table had many empty platters. Probably the best things that were left on there was the watermelon and a lonely mandarin orange that I rescued. The owner came by to ask us if we would join him in a glass of alcohol with passionfruit juice, but we declined, not because it wasn't good. From our memory when we were there before, that passionfruit drink that we had in the past on our last patronage at this restaurant, about a year ago, was spectacular. Be aware that Check comes with an added 20% gratuity tax on it. Will we ever return? You bet we won't, and we don't recommend it. It has gone beyond downhill. read more

After trying to eat at this place for the past few weeks only to see that they're closed (thanks google), I finally got it right. I came in a little after they opened for dinner and was warmly greeted. I was surprised at how small it was inside but the lack of space made up for it in the delicious food. Since I've come the last two weeks and unsuccessfully I might add, I knew which entree I wanted to try. Once I sat down and looked at the drink menu to order, I found out they only served the buffets on Sunday! Whoops! I decided to stay since I came this far. Drink wise, I got the passion fruit Batida but with no milk. As I made my way up to the buffet, I was amazed at everything that was out. I managed to get quite a few things on my plate but didn't want it be overflowing as not to waste food. Some of the things weren't labeled, so I had to make an educated guess and hope for the best. I really enjoyed the fried grouper, plantains, and pasta with white sauce. The other things were good too but weren't labeled. I didn't eat very much but got full pretty quickly. As I went up to pay, the head chef asked how I liked everything and offered a complimentary shot. I ended up staying and talking with the staff and had the best time. I went with a group of 16, so I was able to see the variety of the dinner menu! The saying You can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu is real. Everyone raves about their unique dishes. I enjoyed a few appetizers as my entree! The pastel was my favorite. I ordered one of each type (beef, chicken, and cheese)! My next visit will double the order of cheese and chicken pastel! The beef rib tips were great and, the sauce! They happily accommodated my request for French fries for a little one and the group all wished they had ordered them for themselves. Fun and friendly, family-owned vibe that perfectly captures the spirit of South Grand. The husband-and-wife team are warm and hospitable, the food is fantastic (though it does cost), and their Sunday brunch is a masterpiece. They'll not only bring an oversized steak skewer to your table and carve it in front of you, but will often sit down to chat and offer complimentary shots of their house liquer. Possibly an off day for the restaurant as we had been here before (not on a day where they had the buffet) but were very disappointed. We went on Sunday for their brunch buffet churrasco - delightful! The staff were wonderful and very sweet about my large party bringing our kids. They also had kid pricing for the buffet which we appreciated. Plenty of food and dessert options. The churrasco options are not as plentiful for the brunch compared to the dinner - only picanha and pineapple. Rachel makes the most creamy, delectable Batida (blended drink with condensed milk...I recommend the coconut) and George makes the best, melt in your mouth flan I've ever had. I brought my partner here to celebrate his birthday. The venue is small in size so it felt compressed at times when getting up to get food from the buffet. My friend and I had been looking for try Brasilia, and our experience was less than desired. It took a while for the waiter to get our orders and we had to remind him about what was ordered. They were very apologetic about the delay and forgotten orders but we spent 2 hours in there, which can be frustrating eventhough we got a table right away. The appetizers were the best part of the experience. We had chicken and beef pastel, I prefer the beef pastel. It was well seasoned and the pastry was flakey. The coxinha was delicious, the chicken was savory, and the dip really tied it together. I didn't enjoy any of our entrée, the chicken in the vatapa de frango tasted plain and dry. The cod in the peixada was not seasoned. I wish my experience was better because my brother had a good time at Brasilia years ago. read more

Such a yummy experience at Brasilia last night! We went in for dinner and were seated and waited on right away. The service was great! What I ordered: I got the peixada. It was a bed of rice, veggies, and a dish that was slightly like a fish curry soup hahaha. The flavors were delicious!
