I'm a bit of a perfectionist with extremely high standards, so I went into this very critical -- I knew exactly what I wanted. I had a nightmare trying to find a dress for my bridal shower (I'm plus sized, much wider on the bottom than the top, so I had to size up and was terrified it would never look right). The tailor here is phenomenal. She knew exactly how to cut and fit it so the pattern stayed perfect and the length was super flattering. So as soon as I got my dress, I went hunting online and found Wonhee. She is extremely patient and nice and obviously knows what she is doing. We brought her not only my wedding dress but a reception dress as well as my mother's dress. She recommended that she change the buttons on the back as they were too flimsy and gave me a beautiful bustle and altered straps. My mother and I were worried that it was too tight but she knew what she was doing because in the end it looked beautiful and fitted and didn't put too much pressure on the delicate straps to hold the dress up. She brings her expertise and makes recommendations that would never even come into my mind. For that, i am extremely thankful for her guidance and how she put our minds at ease. There settings were gorgeous. The lady that came to the site to run the ceremony was very reserved and patient. The was a lovely soothing calmness to her that make the whole chaos of the attire change during the wedding more relaxing. The company also provided us with an English script explanation of the Paebaek. We actually had to edit some of the English grammar but it was no big deal. Our guests commented on the lovely Paebaek and Korean friends who had the Paebaek ceremony commented that they appreciated the explanation as well. When I dropped off my dress, she didn't even ask for my name or contact information--I had to offer it. She only accepts cash, and her pricing isn't even competitive, so there's no value for the money. On top of that, the shop itself is dirty and unwelcoming. There was water dripping above the entrance, a musty smell throughout, and the space was cluttered and grimy. Even the changing room was unpleasant. Save yourself the stress and disappointment--do not bring your dress here.

I can't figure out why he did such beautiful work on my wedding dress before but such a poor work on a suit, which doesn't make sense to me. I would not recommend you to take your suit here to be altered though.

I will say I had a great experience with hair/makeup and dress but photography was such a horrible experience. We saw sample pictures beforehand and decided to go with Rahel but the pictures we actually got were no where near what we were given. I will preface and say that we were pre-warned that we were double booked that day and were not going to get the main photographer,however, I am not just upset at the quality of photos but just the lack of professionalism that followed. We ended up taking studio photos that day with the main photographer which actually were edited and came out nice, however, the pictures taken at the venue were terrible with the other photographers. Many of the pictures looked like we were inside a club due to horrible flash. Many pictures we were washed out with flash directly in our faces. Not just that but barely none were edited. We just got a photo dump of nearly 7 gbs of just raw pictures. We hired photography to get professional pictures but we just ended up with a photo dump of just raw photos and terrible ones at that. The worst part is I tried emailing the group about my concerns 3 times with NO response and am just amazed at their unprofessionalism with their clients. I guess once they have your money they just have no regard for you. If at least there was some dialogue about the situation I don't think I would have been as upset but the fact that before the wedding they were very responsive to the silence that followed afterwards is just what is very upsetting.

Receipts are all manual paper and communication is done via email. I was the one to reach out about my first fitting to organize, so you might need to be a little on top of scheduling (but that could also just be my anxious bridal brain reaching out super early). Maryann has a great selection. Most things are more traditional in style and I was worried I wouldn't find the right one but my dress felt unique to me. I got so many compliments on my wedding day. Maryann has a great eye and let me try on SO many dresses. She helped advise based on the venue and weather. She even recommended I get a block heel shoe because of the gravel. Something I wouldn't have thought about at all. She's a real veteran! I had a tight budget of $1,500 that I struggled with at other places. At another spot I even had someone put a dress on me that was $3,500 without telling me. Maryann was so respectful about my budget. When I sheepishly told her my cap she said, "oh, no problem! We'll find your dress!" She has a big selection with a lot of affordable options. All the alterations are done in house. They were more expensive than I expected at around $900 but they were great.
