THE BIG: Asian fusion spot located in Cedar Park. It looks like a converted fast food restaurant but the flavors do hit here. Plenty of parking in the lot outside. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I came here with a few friends for a Sunday lunch session. Interesting concept here as you get to choose between Thai dishes and Hawaiian dishes. I was feeling Hawaiian and my wife was feeling the opposite and got Thai. We got the fried calimari, spam musubi, pad see ew, and garlic butter shrimp. The best was the garlic butter shrimp, the pieces were gigantic. The spam musubi didn't hit for me as it was a meh musubi. Maybe I'm spoiled from my Hawaiian adventures. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, I spent around $65 for the dishes. It was actually pretty good and I'd definitely come back here to try more dishes.

Absolutely I would recommend this place! One of the best papaya salads! I did not care about their lunch menu and size of the meal, I would prefer regular menu. Service: Gonna start off with this, which is the reason I didn't give 5 stars. We didn't know that they closed midday which should've been told to us as we were being seated. So eventually we found out because our server kept moving so hastily it felt like she was rushing us so I asked her if she was rushing us and she told us that the kitchen closes soon because they shut down midday. This could've all been explained. We also got asked for an over medium egg with no run, it came out runny. Instead of them cooking a new egg they clearly recooked the same egg I could not believe this and told us it was not recooked when it visibly was. Food: the food was cooked to perfection outside of that egg situation which we just didn't eat. Everything was so good! Order away I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I will continue to go back to this place and know I will good a good tasty meal! Ambiance: this establishment looks nice but is not fancy, a very casual feel and not too big or not too small.

Been meaning to come here since they opened and so glad I did. They're remodeled nicely and I ordered at the table quickly. Here's what I had. Chicken pad Thai- delicious pieces of chicken and noodles. 4 of 5 stars! Spam Masubi- huge pieces of delicious spam on rice. 5 of 5 stars! Coconut ice cream- if I could give this 10 starts I would! Lunch time visit over the weekend - restaurant had folks seated at a few tables but plenty of tables available. Staff was friendly and polite. Ordered the Fried Fish and Shrimp which comes with a side of macaroni salad and French fries. The fries were great, the macaroni salad was good, not overly sweet, the fried shrimp were delicious, the fried catfish so-so. This may have been due to the particular fish that day, the manner by which it was filleted, or not being cooked quite enough. Bear in mind I have had wonderful fried catfish, so it is not the fish itself. Companion had the Pad Thai Shrimp and chicken. Spice level 5 out of 10 ( you are asked how hot you would like it ). The spiciness seems to be controlled by how much pepper spice they add to the dish, which can result in a little grittiness in the noodles. It was an ok dish, but not quite on par with other restaurants in the area such as Green Mango. A bit of a miss on value to price. All that being said, very nice folks working the restaurant and perhaps we did not select their best dishes.

We stopped in just at the end of Happy Hour so got the cheese wontons and wine at the Happy Hour prices, which was a nice surprise. The cheese wontons were perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce had a nice sweet chili flavor without being too heavy. My husband got the chicken fried rice at medium spice level. I had the red curry at medium spice level. The spice level was just right for his rice, but I would kick my red curry up a bit next time. I don't taste much heat, but it still had good flavor. I particularly enjoyed the large chunks and strips of zucchini, peppers and green beans with the chicken in the curry. They were plentiful and fresh. Portions are the perfect size. Our server was attentive and friendly.

I might be a little biased, but I'm really glad a place like this exists in Cedar Park. I regularly visit Honolulu, and every once in a while, I miss having a legit Hawaiian plate lunch. Cilantro Grill fulfills that craving really well. Their loco moco is spot on, and reminds me of my trips to Hawaii. My wife got their basil fried rice, and she thoroughly enjoyed the food. I hope this place sticks around.

Nice relaxing music-filled restaurant for a great dine in experience. You get Thai and Hawaiian food , all in one place . It's conveniently located with ample parking . Great service, helpful and very accommodating! Food was superb. The basil fried rice was the best, with good amounts of flavorful rice veggies and protein of our choice . Our server Mai was very helpful and she suggested to try out level 7 spice scale, since my mom wanted a bit spicy food . TBH it wasn't spicy-spicy but just enough spice to make it one of the best Thai yellow curry I ever had ! Menu is easy to choose from with pictures for every item. Loved this part ! Overall a great experience to come back for !

I really want the food quality to improve so thought I'd note a few things... Drunken noodles: I left feeling full--of disappointment. The dish was so bland, I had to ask for spices and seasoning/fish sauce to remake the dish there. This was not worth $17. The beef was tough. Fish: again, super bland and not flavorful. My fiance felt full but not satisfied. Drunken noodles: had a weird gamey smell to it. We didn't even eat it :( The Hawaiian shrimp plate was the best out of all we have tried. It was actually so garlicky and buttery! Definitely would recommend this dish but I'm not sure if I'd order anything else... The service, however, was excellent. The waitress was so so sweet and attentive. They were also very accommodating.

Finally got a chance to try this place. We did pick up and it was extremely fast and ready. Our order was complete. We tried three Thai dishes. Yellow curry was absolutely perfect, coconut chicken soup was very good and the drunken noodle was also very good. My only warning is if you're from the Midwest like I am order on the low end of a 1 to 10 scale. I ordered things from 4 to 6 and I think I should've ordered between two and four. This place was such a wonderful surprise! I decided to check this place out one afternoon and I am so glad we did! Service was wonderful, everyone was very nice and answered our questions. Menu was Thai/Hawaiian. We got the katsu, spam masubi, macaroni salad, egg rolls and the pad see ew. Their website has photos of every dish of you are a visual person like me. We love this place! The staff is so friendly and the food is great! We wish they had more seafood options, like a whole grilled fish, etc. Our favorite go-to dishes are the papaya salad, crab fried rice, calamari, tom kha, and chicken & shrimp pad thai. You can't go wrong! Also, somehow they seem to be the only place that always has mango sticky rice, so get it! read more

Husband and I were excited to come here after we learned this was "Sip Sam Thai" restaurant. The staff and service were great. However, the first thing we noticed when we walked in was that the place smelled like expired meat, warm fish, and cleaning chemicals. The calamari was rubbery and flavorless, the spam musubi was unremarkable, and the butter garlic shrimp also had no flavor. I believe this was because the shrimp still had the hard shell on (with legs attached) so all of the sauce was on the inedible part of the food and none of the seasoning touched the shrimp. The macaroni salad that was served with this dish tasted -extremely- off. My husbands' Pad see ew was not much better. The meat and noodles were rubbery. I hope this place gets better because It'd be great to have a good Thai/Hawaiian place to eat in town. read more

I hate to leave a bad rating but I think it's warranted. First let me highlight the good: Papaya salad: excellent with just the right amount of fish sauce to not be overwhelming. All the ingredients tasted fresh and had a nice snap to them. The okay: location of the place isn't the most inviting. Kind of a depressing low traffic area. Also the place only had a few customers (20% full) which was concerning on a Saturday around 5pm but we decided to proceed and give the place a shot. The bad: unfortunately the chicken ruined both dishes we got (pad Thai with chicken and shrimp and drunken noodle with chicken). The chicken was so bad that we removed all of it from both dishes. It unfortunately smelled and tasted like a cheap quality chicken that had sat on the shelf too long. The chicken tasted unwashed. The cuts were too large and the cooking method didn't have that wok fried taste (dare I say slightly undercooked) which all culminated to a horrible dish. I had higher hopes of quality control for a place selling noodles for $18 but unfortunately it was disappointing experience. read more

Love their yellow curry. The Thai tea is also delicious. Lots of customizations to make the food just how you like it. Customer service is excellent. I always order online and it's ready in 10 minutes. One time their internet went out but they still got my order done in record time after I arrived and told them my order. The staff is super helpful and kind. Definitely recommend! read more

Finally decided to try this new place I kept seeing passing 183. I actually thought it would be Mexican based off of the name. Doesn't give Thai/Hawaiian vibes at all. It wasn't until I saw on the booklet we get on our mail that is was Thai/Hawaiian. Me and my husband were ecstatic to see something Hawaiian around our area. My husband is from Hawaii so he's always craving his Hawaiian food. The reason I took one star off this place is because the portions are relatively small for how expensive it is. Sure they want to name it a "grill" wish it was more of a casual for more decent pricing. I would come here maybe once in a while just because it's way too expensive and not big enough portions but other than that the flavors were GREAT! They definitely know what they're doing. But if you're expecting to have leftovers I don't think it's going to happen. read more

Loved my first meal at Cilantro Grill!! The owners are so welcoming, and we had very prompt friendly service. Loved the water feature inside and outside surrounded by flowering bushes. Great menu full of Hawaiian and Thai favorites. Had Kalua pork with white rice and kimchi substituted for macaroni salad as I am gluten free. The pork was wonderfully flavorful, juicy and smoky and meals provided large portions, which gives me a second meal to take home. We had carryout last weekend. My husband picked it up, so I didn't see the inside of the restaurant, but my husband said it was nice looking and packed! I had the Kalua pork - it was AMAZING. Very fresh and flavorful. I especially loved the creamy macaroni salad. Portions were huge. My husband had the BBQ chicken bowl and it was delicious as well. I'm excited to try the thai food as well, but I'm already craving the pork again! I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

They took a drive thru facility and made it nice on the inside. I've only had takeout and the food was fresh, hot and ready at the time I was told. Very nice staff, always greats with smiles. The green curry with chicken spicy is all I've had here so I cannot wait to try more as their green curry was on point. One of the best Thai food restaurants in Cedar Park. Round Rock is severely lacking in authentic thai flavors so this makes the drive for me worth it! Green curry, pad thai, and Thai egg rolls are all delicious!! read more

Food is overall very tasty, good quality, no complaints. But it is quite expensive for the quantity. One of the general positives of thai food is quantity for the price -- this aspect is so much better at nearby Lemongrass which is owned by the same owner! For that reason I will recommend that place over this one. read more

I am a picky eater and prefer hamburgers over almost anything. But this was delicious. I ordered the BBQ Plate which came with Chicken, Beef and Spare ribs. All were tender and Great Flavor. I wanted to like this restaurant so much, but we left disappointed. Staff were friendly and food was ready to go quickly but I just couldn't get over the flavor. Thai is my fave and we're always trying new places (Thai Spoon in RR is our jam) but the flavor for pad see ew was severely lacking, almost a sour flavor. read more

It's perfect because it's still very filling and it saves you a little bit of money if you're looking for great Thai food on your own or to take someone to have , please come here. The restaurant isn't very big and seating gets crowded when it's packed but most days the turnover is pretty fast and the wait is never long. It's is not very loud for how small a space it is which is a plus.

I have ordered the following items from here - 1) Tom Kha Soup - an absolute delight with just the right amount of spice to give it a nice kick without becoming overwhelmingly spicy! 2) Pad ka Prow - minced basil chicken stir fried with green beans in a very light gravy. So delicious and light, served with jasmine rice. I often crave this! 3) Yellow or Panang curries are my personal favorites but really you can't go wrong with any of their curry choices. 4) Basil fried rice - a classic, must try dish at any Thai restaurant and Chada does it right! One of the few meals I actually like uncooked tomatoes in. The tzatziki sauce is so perky, it compliments the seasoning of the extremely flavorful and tender lamb perfectly. The Gyro Plate was one of the first "bigger" meals that I got. It tasted heavenly and was worth the extra price from the gyro wrap. It was my first experience with their hummus, which is some of the best I've ever had. I brought some home to my family because they sell tubs of hummus to go (for a similar price to what you could get at HEB, actually, and much better) and they ate it all within minutes. This has been a regular thing too. During lent I would order a lentil soup, pita, and falafel side that totaled at just under $6. This is an incredible price for how good it is. The falafels are genuinely the best falafels I have ever tried, crispy (but not hard) on the outside, and fluffy (not soggy) on the inside. Flavor was amazing. Just last week I ordered a lamb kebab plate. Folks, be prepared if you order this. This meal is HUGE. The lamb was heavenly, and I was really happy that they grilled the kebabs with some onions and peppers, really added flavor. The kebabs are made to order, so they're always fresh. Its worth the wait fellas. Come back and give this one a try if you're not rushed. Can I also mention they gave me a free soda on this one? What a nice restaurant! They're always quick except for kebabs (but give 'em the grace because its fresh cooking). 10/10 restaurant, give it a shot!

It was their very first time trying Mediterranean food, and they absolutely loved it! We started with two different types of hummus served with pita. The hummus was incredibly flavorful, and the pita was exceptionally fresh. We also ordered the falafel, which was perfectly prepared and delicious. For the main course, we shared the Chicken Shish Taouk with sides of beet salsa and Lebanese potatoes--everything was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. Honestly, the highlight of the meal for us was the drinks. The mint juice and beet juice were so refreshing and easily the best part! We finished our meal with baklava and basbousa for dessert, and both were fresh, sweet, and incredibly tasty. Beyond the fantastic food, the ambiance is very neat and clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We were regulars at Lemongrass before discovering this gem, and to our delight, we found familiar faces from our favorite restaurant when we first walked in. Wow !!! Best Thai food in Austin hands down. No need to go the war zone downtown or the frantic atmosphere of the Domain, this place has much better food.
