Cup of Egg Drop Soup with Crunchy Noodles
    Jerry E.

First visit, at dinner time on a Friday evening (about 5:30 p.m. I give them a solid 4 for the food, but a 2 for service. I don't have anything negative to say about the server. He was congenial and hustling. But it appeared they didn't have enough staff and they weren't well trained (a management issue). I had to ask separately to get sweet and sout sauce with my egg roll, had to ask a second time for my crunchy noodles, and had to ask separately for soy sauce for my entree. The sense was that the server had to take care of way too many tables. Just too few staff, and insufficient training. The othet negative is that they charge extra for little add ons that most places include. On the other hand, the food was pretty good. I want this place to succeed. I did enjoy everything I ordered. Had Pork and Shrimp Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce, Egg Drop Soup, Crunchy Noodles (that cost extra - most places don't charge for these), and Shrimp and Lobster Sauce. And it was Friday evening rush time. Just need for management to more fully train staff on how to fully take care of customers. I do like the food here. I wish they would improve the othet service related details.

Good service, great tea and good food. We were seated right away, had immediate service, our drinks were never less than half full. I grew up with Hao Hao in Round Rock and was super excited to see this location. It did not disappoint. We found the restaurant quiet and well decorated. A few people seated at the bar and a few tables filled and we were able to chat easily during our dinner.

As you walk in, the bar overwhelms the restaurant space and did not appear ready for a full bar at the time, seems more like a staff work space? We were sat at the opposite end where most seating is. I'd guess there were a total of 6 booth seating and a few 2 seat tables I couldn't quite remember but not a large space. Lots of stool seating at the bar mentioned at least a dozen+ We started with the pork/shrimp spring roll that were in generously filled with a char siu like pork and good sized shrimp halves served with peanut sauce. Nothing unique to review except the wrap was chewy. Entrees were the Neptune platter and combo vermicelli bowl with pork, chicken, beef and shrimp. The Neptune was ok, it wasn't bad but nothing blew my tastebuds out of the park. The meats in the combo vermicelli bowl were chopped so fine, and minimal that you could not identify what proteins you were actually given in the combo. Their bowls are prepared different somewhat like a stir fry rather than the traditional bowls. The flavor was ok, again, not a home run on any of these dishes to bring us back to this place. Staff were stoic with very little personality that welcomes guests. It's free, use it to your advantage. We still tipped well in hopes that it would bring some smiles to other guests after us

They are still new so they have work to do. The sauces are very heavy on the entrees. Food could have been warmer. They charge extra for a soup change or fried rice. I try again in a few months if near. Very lovely setting. The serve beer and wine. Tables are very close together. There is a room for private party

A great Vietnamese food option in the Leander area. Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well-organized. I would recommend it for a small or large group.

Chicken fried rice was great. Chicken wings were great. Combo lo me in was great. Inside was clean. Music was good. Service was great. Simple as that I highly recommend this place!

First time trying this new restaurant, it's a smaller space. They do have bar seating, tables and a few booths. It looked like they carry a few different kinds of beer. The service was great, friendly and super attentive! We ordered the spicy chicken platter that comes with steamed rice (we ordered fried rice), eggroll and a choice of soup. We chose the wonton soup and also ordered a plate of crab wontons. Everything was fresh, hot and tasted great. The spicy chicken wasn't spicy to us. Next time we're going to request, if possible, that they make ours more spicy. We will definitely return.

It has been one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants-and one of the only places to serve the Vietnamese pancake that I love. I sat down, getting ready to contemplate the menu. I was shocked to see it was a brand new menu. I asked my server about it, and he concurred that it is a new menu, but that the owners had taken many of the former choices off. . NO more fried rice-always my grandson's favorite. Although I was disappointed when it was time to order, I chose the Mixed Protein Bun. I requested shrimp and eggrolls. It is a bowl filled with rice noodles, shredded lettuce, cucumbers, shredded carrots, and your choice of protein. It also comes with a generous portion of fish sauce. After one bite, I knew that the old chef must have left. My food was so bland. To start with, I don't think it was salted at all..... which quite often affects the flavors negatively. There were no other spices or sauce or anything tasty in my bowl. I was very disappointed. I didn't even eat a quarter of the Bun. I didn't take the rest to go and I won't be returning, unless I see that they have returned to their former style of cooking. So I'll definitely be watching the reviews. It makes me very sad to have to write a negative review, especially about a place. I have enjoyed so much in the past!!!

Young kids doing hard work on a friday evening instead of partying. And they did a great job!!! Second, the food: We had the soup dumplings, the won ton in the chili sauce, the minced pork noodle and the stir fry noodles with beef. The food was amazing, could be a little bit more spicy though, but they have some hot sauces and chili oil to turn it up a notch. The noodles were perfectly cooked, not to soft and not al dente. Prices are good, portions are plenty. Also, they have these super delicious garlicky cucumbers in a savory sauce/dressing at the self serve section. I should have taken more of those. When you walk in, you're greeted by the staff, place your order, and then choose a table to sit at. They have a nice variety of noodle dishes, including soups and dry noodles, along with plenty of appetizers and dumpling options. My husband and I ordered the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, 6-piece soup dumplings, shoyu beef ramen, and red braised beef noodle soup. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken was probably one of our favorites. It had a good amount of seasoning and a nice crunch, and it came with a spicy mayo dipping sauce that paired really well with it. The soup dumplings were good overall, although they were a little sweeter than what I personally prefer. I'm more used to soup dumplings that are on the savory side, and I also would have liked a little more soup inside the dumplings. Still, they were pretty good! My husband really enjoyed the shoyu beef ramen. He liked the noodles and broth, although he felt the beef could have used a little more flavor. The red braised beef noodle soup was delicious. The noodles had a nice bounce to them, and my favorite part was definitely the braised beef rib. It was so tender and flavorful! I did think the broth could have used a little more seasoning, but overall I really enjoyed the dish. They also have a sauce bar where you can grab your own sauces and customize your meal. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back to try some of their other noodle dishes!

And honestly it's better than any fancy restaurant out there. I love the amount of plants in the space and the TV plays cooking videos and it's so nice to watch while waiting for your food! Speaking of waiting for your food, the food comes out super quick! Within 1 minute of ordering my drink, it came out! And a couple minutes after follows the food. The service is amazing as well, the servers are super sweet and are very quick to serve you and get what you need. The menu offers a bunch of things, appetizers, main dishes, desserts, and the drinks! I love how the desserts and drinks are also Vietnamese (most of the time I notice restaurants tend to have the basic selection of fountain drinks and desserts, but this restaurant has a wide variety of drinks and desserts so you can try something new every time you come here!) Most of all, there's a bunch of vegan dishes which I absolutely love. The food is always delicious I've been trying the vegan dishes recently and I love them a lot (as someone who doesn't like vegan dishes normally)! The chicken pho is also so delicious it tastes better than I make it at home! So much flavor. The drinks are so good as well. They also give you a big portion and I normally have leftovers, but the portion size is amazing for the price that you pay. It's definitely more affordable and such a bang for your buck. This is definitely a spot to try and trust me, you'll probably fall in love! If I was an Austin tourist I would definitely hit up this restaurant. I could go on and on about this restaurant.
