The place was pleasant and the bar looked stunning. The past 2 times I tried to come here circumstances didn't go in my favor (first time on my birthday I didn't realize they were closed, 2nd time my best friend just wanted to get takeout somewhere else which I was incredibly bummed about since she promised). Well last night my fiancé and I went and come to find out their kitchen wasn't working, not their fault! It didn't help it was the day in the windstorm. So we ordered drinks and we planned on heading out after. Our waiter INSISTED we order a waffle desert, that he wouldn't charge for it because of the inconvenience. My picky fiancé loved it! This was a take out order, so I will only address the food. FANTASTIC! I ordered lamb vindaloo and garlic naan bread, and my wife had garbanzo bean curry. We loved it all. (Cilantro India Bistro is so much better than the other Indian/Siri Lankan restaurant in town. Order curry there and I'd spend the evening swimming through the sauce looking for a piece of meat or vegetable. Our meals had plenty of meat or vegetables, not just sauce.) Had lunch there today with a friend and they knocked it out of the park. Excellent service, nice atmosphere, and terrific food. Very generous portions also. My Butter Chicken was outstanding and my friend's veggie and rice dish was fabulous, she said. Excellent Naan too. Exceptionally attentive waiters also. Give this place a try.
