We found this place on Yelp, as we usually do when traveling and it did not disappoint. I had oxtails and beef patties with a side of their housemade hot sauce and it was delicious. They have a covered area for you to sit outside with music and a tv for viewing. The staff was friendly and helpful, but most importantly, the food was incredible and we will be back for sure! Prior to out trip, I've been doing a much needed research just in case we need a break from eating lobsters. Based on reviews, I saved this restaurant on our must-go-to list. It didn't disappoint. Food was delicious! We had the jerked chicken, perfectly seasoned and spicy. The jerked ribs was just as good with fall off the bone meat.. but the highlight... are the super tender and flavorful oxtails.. we ordered 3. Omg!!! It was pretty good! All the entrees were served with plain rice and vegetables. They had other options for sides too (rice & beans, fried plantains) We also had some Jamaican drinks, e.g. fruit punch (blend of several fruits), pineapple and grapefruit soda. All the food from here is incredible -- bursting with flavor. I got the oxtail stew, which was prepared in a thick, brown gravy. The oxtail was tremendously tender. It came with a boat load of delicious rice that has small pieces of red beans mixed in. There was also a side of greens, namely cabbage, which offset the hearty gravy and meat. The combination was perfect. My partner got the jerk pork, which was equally as delicious as my oxtail. I also ordered plantains. They offer three different types of aioli sauce with them. The menu was uncomplicated, just enough. In time we're sure there will be additional delicacies. The service was pleasant, humble, caring. We saw quite a few take out orders being picked up.
