The restaurant opened for business on the 6th, we got there on the 11th. We arrived after 2pm, and they were taking down the lunch buffet. It looked huge. The bad thing about arriving after two is that there was a shift change, which meant that customers were seated but not served. We waited an hour for our appetizers. There were customers seated after us who got their entire meal and finished by the time we got served. Not the best way to treat customers. Fortunately, the food was great. The samosa appetizer was really good. I also had paneer korma which was out of this world. Flavor, flavor, flavor was the name of the game. I have not had any better, which was a very pleasant surprise. Florida has many Indian restaurants, and frankly, none of them come close. I can't wait to go through the menu! read more

Delicious Indian food! All the dishes were pretty sweet in addition to some being spicy (depending on the level we ordered). Overall, I thought the spice levels were pretty tame (I could easily handle a 6 and I don't typically order over 4). We ordered many different dishes and shared them all. It was fabulous! They were very easily able to handle our group of 6, which was great. Our waitress was attentive and gave great suggestions and the meal was well paced, which we especially appreciated as we were seeing a show afterwards. Favorites included the saag paneer, chicken korma, and garlic naan. The mutter was also great! And the punugulu was the perfect appetizer for sharing. The masala (tea) was the only thing I wouldn't get again. It was fine, but not as rich and flavorful as other places I've had it. read more

Major disappointment Or DISGUSTED. Arrived at 1:45. Slow service. Took forever to take our drink order. We should not have been allows to order the buffet so late in the day. We did not know the buffer hours. Apparently ended at 2:30 but by 2pm they are on the dregs of their serving dishes with only rice coming out fresh. I scrapped the butter chicken (which we had been anxious to try) and got a few lumps which turned out to be gristle. $50 for a horrible lunch for two. read more

Omg such great flavors in the food at Rasa! Our server was so nice and helpful as well. We got cocktails to start and they were great--the masala old fashioned and the chai-tini. Everything we ordered was delicious and perfectly balanced. You order the spice level to what you like, so we got medium spicy. We got the samosa chaat to start, chicken khorma, malai kofta and garlic naan. Everything was so good. Definitely recommend. read more

A new gem in Bangor! The drinks were tasty, service was friendly, and the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. The real star is the food. Although a little slow, it was well worth the wait. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and deep, deep flavors with the perfect amount of heat. Samosas , tandoori chicken, lamb josh rogan; it was all top notch. Even my 4 year old loved the garlic naan and butter chicken! Can't recommend it enough. Make sure you call ahead! read more

Tasty selection of curries and other dishes on the all you can eat buffet. Elegant interior design and friendly service. We went for lunch, but the atmosphere would be great for dinner. I may have missed it, but I couldn't find the price for the buffet listed on the menu, or anywhere-so I think it would be good if they could do something about that. read more

Welcome to Bangor, Rasa! We've been twice now (luncheon buffet and dinner take-out) and really enjoy all that they are offering. The food has been really delicious, colorful, well-seasoned, and quite plentiful. We've had the pleasure of trying several of their dishes. Very friendly, polite, welcoming owner, hostess and wait staff. The lovely folks at Rasa are very attentive to guests and helpful in answering any questions. They seem genuinely happy to be hosting guests and sharing their Indian creations. The restaurant is full of light, with large windows and gorgeous lighting. The space is beautifully decorated and the tables are comfortably positioned so as to create both a feeling of intimacy and community. There is ample parking in the adjacent lot and also along Exchange St. and York St. We're really looking forward to dining in for dinner soon! read more

One of Bangor's best restaurants! The menu is a great taste of Indian classics, and the kitchen is able to accommodate for allergies, especially gluten sensitivity. The staff and server were wonderful and the ambiance was very calm with good music. The interior is well crafted and creates an awesome dining experience. You will not be disappointed. Food was excellent. I enjoy Indian food and have traveled a bit, this restaurant is on par with the best Indian food I've had anywhere. Price was reasonable especially with the quality of food received. So lucky this place opened in Bangor. Ordered Butter chicken at a 5 with garlic naan. Aces! Rasa just opened a few weeks ago, and I have already been for both the lunch buffet and dinner. The food is great! The lunch buffet has so many choices! The dinner service was also very good. The curry Margarita and house lager were unexpectedly good. The Samosa chaat and chicken 65 appetizer are recommended. Both entrees of butter chicken and khorma paneer were excellent. I had to stop myself from eating more...the flavor was on point. 10/10 would recommend! read more

i visited your restaurant Friday afternoon with my daughter. Both the service and food were excellent. We had no complaints in those areas. Our waitress and a few of the wait staff all ate from the buffet at the bar. We both found that to be a bit tacky and unprofessional having been waitresses before.
