Was a good place to go but lately not very good. Staff is rude. I ordered a dish that was served so hard you couldn't cut it. It was a cheese dish. I was told that I ordered it was my fault- I asked that it be heated it was returned to the table still unable to put on a chip or cut. I asked for a replacement dish it wasn't much better. Management said my fault and I should be happy I wasn't charged for both dishes. I paid but did not leave a tip. Don't order the Queso Flameda it sucks. read more

Well my daughter and I went here to have a light dinner: We both order sweet tea and she took one sip and took it away from me cause it tasted old. We had to ask for silver and napkins. There was a layer of oil on the salsa. Once they brought our nachos they never once came back to our table. I had to ask for our check.there was a table behind us that was covered in dishes all they did was clear it and took a towel and wiped it.. they didn't sanitize the table. Our table was even dirty. Been traveling all around the country and haven't had this good of Mexican food yet! The warm Chips were served with warm salsas, one was smoked and the other a green sauce. We shared a combo fajita platter and added the shrimp. The steak was tender and flavored nicely, the shrimp was large and grilled in a garlic sauce, the chicken was tender as well. It only needed more peppers and onions. The charro beans were amazing! All and all this was a gourmet experience. And the service was friendly and attentive as well. Our experience here was not good in the slightest. The queso tasted like melted Velveeta. The "salsa" was sweet, mashed veggies, reminiscent of baby food. The tortilla chips were stale. The sweet tea was old. The steak was well seasoned, but had the consistency of bubble gum. My husband's chicken was sawdust dry. His flautas were basically a salad with some dry chicken, tomatoes, and a style tortilla. The rice was more remicent of Indian food rather than Mexican. And to top it all off, the food was priced rather high, especially for the quantity and quality given. I know we will never be visiting again. read more

I ate here on Saturday night. The restaurant was clean and I noticed they kept the people with kids in the same general area which was nice but might have been a coincidence. The chips were the thin kind I like and the red salsa was ok had better but they have a spicy avocado salsa that was incredible. I got a grilles fajita salad chicken and beef It was very good and extremely large. It comes with your choice of dressing I chose not to use instead used the green salsa and was very happy and full. Only thingI will say the chicken and beef were cold which comes that way and common on salads so it doesn't wilt the lettuce but i will remember to order it hot next time. prices are competitive and service is excellent. oh and their sweet tea was good and fresh not like drinking syrup just the right amount of sweet. only downfall I saw was limited parking on busy nights. read more

Having an early dinner with my kid's. Right as we walk in the door. The waiter greets us with a big smile & paper and crayons for my kid's. He showed us to our table. He was very friendly . 5/3/2016 Lunch was terrible. Service was the worst, slow and just didn't seem to care. Two tables got up and left because they didn't get waited on. Every one was trying to flag down a waiter to get service or a bill. An hour and a half was too long for lunch. I think the food is great, so I am confused by all the negative reviews about it. I have had it twice, the first time was ordering carryout through EAT24, which worked perfectly. We ate there this Saturday, and our waiter and the host were very friendly and attentive. Granted, it wasn't very crowded. I have ordered the Stuffed Chicken Breast both times--it is unlike anything I have had at the Mexican restaurants we ate in California for the eight years we lived there. They also have healthier options, which I appreciate. I will be eating there a lot from now on. read more

We have enjoyed good food at Cilantro's for several years. We have noticed how few people are in the restaurant. We have spoken to the manager several times about the lack of lighting on entrance street off Hwy. 1097 and lack of signage visible to traffic on 1097. We feel this good restaurant would do much better if above problems were corrected. read more
