    Steak Fajita

I can't lie I was a big hater on this restaurant because I found the name of it to be tacky and out of touch especially with their restaurants be located in predominantly white neighborhoods but uber eats was having a buy one get one entree deal so I decided to give a shot and I was genuinely surprised. This was an absurd amount of food for 22 bucks and the flavors were actually good. Can't believe I'm saying this but I would actually come back again especially for this deal!

The soup is wonderful with fresh, avocado, pulled chicken and little peppers. It was so refreshing even on a hot day we loved the chips and salsa which were flavorful. The fajita made with chicken was piping hot but my partner didn't like the onions or peppers as the had no flavor. I ordered the three item special with a soft taco chili, Reno, and something else it was OK the rice was a little crunchy. Our waiter was very sweet. He did not speak a lot of English, but I got to practice my Spanish. We sat outside with our puppy, and it was a perfect place.

New to the area- We ate here as a family for dinner. The seating was very fast, shortly after we sat down a server deliver fresh chips & salsa. Everyone was happy with their plate and the food was plentiful. Great service and food!

I really wanted to love this restaurant but they need to step it up, both on the floor and in the kitchen. On my first visit, I wasn't greeted even though at the moment I walked a staffer was grabbing menus from the host stand. I waited for her return but she never did. Fine, I'm relatively intelligent and have visited many restaurants before so since I only wanted takeout, I figured I could go to the bar for that. I picked up only the lunch menu from the stack on the host stand and went to the bar. At the bar I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which the lunch menu said was $8.99. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes (place was empty). Yay! Get the bill and it's over $11. Boo. The bartender said I didn't say the lunch quesadilla when I ordered. But you didn't see me holding the menu with LUNCH in big, bold letters? C'mon fam. He did offer to have them make me a lunch quesadilla but I didn't want to wait so I just paid. The chips and salsa are great! Salsa is fresh and spicy! Chips are hardy, not that bullshit that snaps in half when you pick it up. Love them! The quesadilla went in the trash. It was saltier than my mom when her novela is interrupted for special programming. I have a big thing about wasting food. I would rather throw an actual $5 out the window than food. Crazy but true. I say this so you can understand how inedible the quesadilla was that I ate one triangle and tossed the rest because I knew I'd never reheat it at home and try again. However, I tried the restaurant again the next week because I was craving Mexican again and had time to kill. This time I sat at the bar to dine in. Ordered the lunch shrimp quesadilla. It actually was pretty decent. It was falling apart and I had to eat it with a fork but the flavors were good. Large, fresh shrimp that weren't over cooked. It is smaller than the full price quesadilla but still comes with sour cream and all that. For $10 with the yummy chips and salsa, it was actually a very filling lunch. Maybe the third visit will be the charm? Not a whole lot to choose from in Middletown so I'm sure I'll be back the next time I'm around.

Pretty typical and tasty Mexican food... nothing to really rave about but nothing to complain about either. Lots of chips and salsa. We all ordered the 3 items Build Your Own Combo meals. The enchiladas, quesadilla, chicken tamales and ground beef chile relleno were all very good. We also enjoyed the rice and the charro beans as sides with our meals. I do have to say that the Margaritas were a good size and flavorful and my husband really like the Sangria. Definitely a nice addition to Middletown.

    A very good restaurant.

The pastor was nicely spicy, smoky, and a bit sweet from the chunks of pineapple.

It filled up fast, and there was a lively bar crowd, and also an engagement party celebration upstairs. All of the servers were so friendly, and happy to share their favorite dishes and beers, etc. We started with the wings, which were great, and then we had the house salad with salmon and the burger and fries. OK, I did not order the burger and fries, but my boyfriend did, and I ate half the fries on his plate, they were that good! Great, friendly, with generous pours for wine, and just a really friendly, great place with perfect food for a winter day. I wish I could find a place like this in Washington, DC.

There's a lot of potential here, but when your wagyu burger costs more than Le Diplomate's iconic burger in DC, I'm expecting something amazing. Every ingredient was very seasoned on its own, but when combined, the burger was overwhelmingly salty. I could barely taste anything besides salt. The cocktails were also overly sweet, and I regrettably had to send them back a couple of times. That said, our waiter's service was excellent. But this place needs a lot of improvement. Way too salty, too greasy, and overpriced.

Great music! Excellent whiskies and beers. Ambiance like a really nice barn :-)…read more We wanted a Memorial Day (2025) daytrip from greater-Baltimore. Harper's Ferry is very close! Like an hour (ish) drive. So what's happening in HP? The Barn out Washington St. had a MemorialDay weekend all-day mostly-country music event 2pm to 10:30pm! Very nice. They have a great little bar inside, and sometimes have food from one of the restaurants across the parking lot, or just walk over for takeout, or i think i read that they deliver here. By the way, parking can get a little tight for a bigger event like this one, but we were early enough, maybe 1pm, and we scored a space when someone left. I might as well add that there's several clean restrooms sort of across from the bar. We settled into a huge comfy couch near the back of the hall, behind the seating for roughly 30 at tables and picnic tables. There was also seating for roughly 20 at tables out on a deck. The first solo singer-guitarist, D.C.'s Kate Smiles, had a lovely voice and sweetly original interpretations of rock and pop and country songs that i knew, and a presence that made me say, Hey, Wow, I can relax in this mellow mood with a really nice whiskey from a list that my local bar would envy. By the way, they were out of the local whiskey, Devil's Due, so i had a warming fiery oaky slightly-sweet Elijah Craig bourbon, neat, with a water back. Mmmmm. The second musician, W.V.'s Andrew Copenhaver, moved among soulful blues and country, some classics, some modern. He could put an edge on his voice, and he could hit some deep bass notes, so it was a real pleasure when he gave us Folsom Prison Blues. When you can hit that low note, you have a right to do some Johnny Cash. By now i was into some crisp local beers. That little bar really has everything, including a versatile bartender who made every drink we knew, and we sampled his skills as the third musician, NoVA's Mark Cullinane, took the stage. He had a wide range of country songs, including a moving original that made us feel we were driving in our pickup behind his dad's. He had a great rich tone and great range. Like the second musician, he used some kind of looper to create full layers of harmony. What with all the beverages, we started to fade a little as the music moved into the set by NoVA's seriously-country Rowdy Ace Band around 8pm. They really lit up the hall and the patio and probably a good piece of nearby Harpers Ferry. We eventually moved on to our reservations for dinner across the parking lot at Snallygaster's restaurant. But that's another story. We had a terrific afternoon and evening. The Barn will definitely be one of our go-to spots in this town, and we'll be looking to hear these musicians again!
