Pollo enquesado (lunch portion) and added fajita veggies (no extra charge). Tasty, filling lunch for about $10.

Great casual spot for good Mexican food. Great service from long term employees. Weekday drink specials.

4-stars for consistency and following the strict COVID measures. Sooo.... Cinco de Mayo isn't traditional Mexican food, but it is delicious and scratches that itch for spicy south of the border cuisine. My go to's here are the chili relleno, the California burrito and the tamales. Their tamales are awesome and even for a "chain Mexican restaurant" these tamales are pure fire. Definitely go with the chicken! Out of the three locations I've actually sat inside of, this one has to be my favorite. I love the bar area and no matter where you sit you don't feel like you're right on top of the people next to you, especially during Covid. Every other table is closed and all the waiters have masks on. If you don't feel like sitting inside, they offer to go orders and at some locations they even deliver! Get the chili relleno!

    Best Margarita!!!

Best Team at this place. Lazaro and Pasquel are the best. Food and drinks are always the best.

This place is decent. Not your traditional Mexican in my option but I've been several times and the food and margaritas have been pretty good. I wouldn't say it's my favorite Mexican place but if someone asked me to meet them for dinner here I would be fine going and know I could get something good to eat. We like it because it is really close to home.

Roaches crawling on the wall right connected to our table.

Me and my family were here eating dinner yesterday evening everything was fine service was fine food was okay but not long after we were there we saw some bugs on the was didn't think much of it thought it was a fly at first but then kept seeing them and it turns out to be roaches we saw a total of maybe 5/6 crawling around where we were eating including on the wall beside our table. Unfortunately, we tried to tell our server and nothing was done. We paid and left. We will not be going back.

Great service! The prices are good for the portion. I ordered the shrimp fajita quesadilla and they didn't charge me extra for the grande size or extra sour cream. I was very pleased with this place and will most definitely return.

The #16 (shredded chicken on rice, topped with melted cheese) is by far the best dish on the menu.

How did I just learn about this local gem?…read more Fabulous place with AMAZING gelato! I brought home some fig and ricotta gelato. It is divine! I tried the Brio flavor (mulberry and lavender) and will bring some home next visit. I easily could have tasted ALL the flavors but I somehow managed a smidge of restraint. I ordered a cortado as well. Hard to find that on most menus. The espresso machine was beautiful and my drink was caffeinated perfection. And I could not make my exit without a couple of items from the pastry case. I bought the pistachio ricotta cake and the amarena cheesecake. All of this was for me and I make no apologies. The service was great. All my questions were thoughtfully answered. The best answer? All gelato is made in-house. There were sandwich and breakfast items also on the menu. I will have to go back to try those. Because I was on a mission. And my mission was gelato. Mission accomplished!

Apparently, not all the best bakeries lie within the big city after all. About 25 minutes out of downtown Nashville lying on the western periphery of Mount Juliet, BRIÒ makes a stunning array of Italian treats. Cannoli, gelato, waffles, crepes, milkshakes, sandwiches, you name it! Their gelato game is very strong! In fact, it's the highest rated gelateria on the entirety of Highway 70, one of America's longest roads that spans the country from Arizona to the Atlantic Ocean. With all that fanfare and these tremendous online ratings, I eagerly anticipated my visit. The mint gelato was tasty, maybe a little too minty for my preference despite my obsession with this flavor, but still delicious. However, it was the caramel pecan cheesecake that blew my mind! This is one of the greatest desserts in Middle Tennessee, properly firm cheesecake topped with candied pecans in a beautiful caramel sauce that accentuates every bite. This is life changing stuff!

It's not too sweet, just the right amount and it's so creamy. The ambience is chill and they have a few tables and chair to sit and enjoy the treats. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. They only speak Spanish but don't feel discouraged if you don't speak it. Just point at the pictures. The music is a great mixed of Latin genres but leans more into Mexican music. Not too loud. The place has always been clean when we have been there. They have a private parking. Overall, come try it. There is less parking on this side, however, so you may need to drive around the rear of the building to get to the remaining parking spaces. I was lucky to find one spot out front. There is also a handicapped space here as well. There is a short walk to the entrance. There are no steps but the sidewalk takes you around the edge of the grassy area so you have to walk a little further. If you park in the rear of the building in the larger parking lot the walk is a bit longer but more direct. Once inside, the lobby is small but the large display counter shows the variety of options available. There was someone working in the back who came out as some as I entered. It appeared he was the only worker at that time so you may need to wait a moment if they are busy in the back. Either way, the cookies are definitely worth a short wait. They are large and there is a large variety of flavors sure to pique your interest. The prices are as would be expected, and the freshness was evident in the first bite. This is a great option for a treat for that special someone, or just to treat yourself.

Gone is any semblance of atmosphere as previously noted. The entry room was full of tacky boxes the minute you walk in. The restaurant was nearly empty, which should have been a massive clue. They still make you do that ridiculous text to get a seat/reservation - which is not only weird and inconvenient, but absurdly unnecessary in this day and time of technology. Not only that, but - as others have also noted - the service was one slight touch away from downright rude. My wife and I both felt like our waitress thought we were an inconvenience. As for the food: The salad bar was just ok this time. Still fairly fresh veggies and lots of options for toppings/sauces, but none of it had very much flavor. Keeping with that theme, the steaks we ordered (filets) and the baked potatoes - both of them simply had NO flavor! It's like the kitchen has never heard of salt and pepper. Sure, there's some on the table - but for meat to be proper it has to be seasoned either BEFORE or DURING the cooking process, not once it arrives at the table. The meat was fine, I guess (though only after I had to send my first piece back as it was - once again - BADLY overcooked) but the biggest offender now? THE PRICES!!! Oh. My. Lanta. $52 for a tiny 6oz filet in HERMITAGE?! That's right. FIFTY TWO DOLLARS FOR A SIX OZ STEAK. That too much? Fear not, it's now an absurd $18 for a stand alone salad bar!! Where do they think they are? This isn't the country club in Brentwood, it's hwy 70 in Davidson County. Getting even less food than we got last time (including not being given any table bread) for WAY more in price, we will not return. This time for one appetizer, no drinks, and only 2 small steaks, our tab was $150. No way was the meal we were given worth it. Saying this experience and food was sub-par is being generous. We feel like we just got ripped off.
