I ordered a cortado as well. Hard to find that on most menus. The espresso machine was beautiful and my drink was caffeinated perfection. And I could not make my exit without a couple of items from the pastry case. I bought the pistachio ricotta cake and the amarena cheesecake. All of this was for me and I make no apologies. The service was great. All my questions were thoughtfully answered. The best answer? All gelato is made in-house. There were sandwich and breakfast items also on the menu. It appeared he was the only worker at that time so you may need to wait a moment if they are busy in the back. Either way, the cookies are definitely worth a short wait.
