Our gang of four enjoyed our steak dinner. Friendly, attentive service. Steaks come with a single choice of side, salad bar, and bread if you ask for it. Salad bars take a lot of attention and was kept clean. We chose a Ribeye and Filet Mignon cooked to our order medium-rare with fully loaded baked potato. Seating was mostly couples and tables of four. Larger groups were in another room. Full bar. Private parking lot. Open for dinner Tues-Sunday, lunch Tues-Fri, and brunch only on Sunday. Convenient from BNA airport and The Hermitage Overall good value for a steak dinner. The steak was of very good quality and taste. Reservation is essential. Two Small Gripes: * The baked potato had the consistency of a steamed baked potato * Bread was soft like you get at a wedding at a Holiday Inn.

Went for a quick date night - hadn't been here in several years. You have to text a number for reservations which is interesting but not a problem. It was a Friday night and got a reservation the day before. It was like 3/4 full at 6:30 and we were sat quickly. The waitress was very nice, we ordered the bubble bread, and I got a 6oz filet with salad bar and baked potato and husband got the 12iz ribeye with the same. The bubble bread was pretty good, very cheesy. Salad bar here is always memorable, 40 options or something like that of toppings. My filet was pretty good, they do their steaks on the grill so there's char flavor but not much else. Husbands ribeye was more of a medium than med rare and pretty thin - same comments on the flavor. Loaded baked potatoes were huge. Steaks are probably a little overpriced but still left full and happy.

Customer Service: Good, but I wish it was easier to communicate with making reservations, etc. Inside: waitress was good, when you get put off in the cut, you kind of get forgotten about. Food: I'll be honest, the food for the price is fine? Like. The bubble bread is not good. The steak again for the price wasn't the best and i was disappointed. The salad bar is the best part of this entire thing. I loved that.

The best salad bar in Nashville.

This place is so delicious and the service was spot on. 10-10 recommend. The ambiance is also very nice and clean. Salad bar was the best in town.

Moving here from Wisconsin, this place gives us that great supper club vibe we love so much. Staff has always been super friendly. Their salad bar is OUT OF THIS WORLD. And their Sunday brunch is great too. Steaks are always a solid choice. Opt for the side of grilled asparagus. Even my asparagus-hating husband loved it! The duck wontons are fantastic-we get them every time. The tuna appetizer is also fantastic, as is the bubble bread.

Service & food were outstanding! We really enjoyed hermitage steakhouse for our date night! Being local to Nashville we've driven past here thousands of times but have never stopped for dinner until now! In a city of trendy restaurants, Hermitage was a nice chance of pace of just being old school Nashville! It's difficult to figure out how to make a reservation at hermitage steakhouse considering there's no instructions on their Facebook (no website) & no one ever answers the phone number listed on Facebook & google! The host told us when we walked in you have to text a specific number they give you to make a reservation (how would we have known this? It's not published anywhere!) But good news is we were able to walk in and kill time at the bar while waiting for a table. Julia the bartender was awesome! She had great drink & food recommendations. We had drinks & an appetizer & then our table was ready. The lamb chops & the pork chops were both outstanding! Our server Tyler was very efficient & very kind! We could not have asked for a better server! There are very few salad bar places left in Nashville & hermitage does the salad bar right! Everything on the salad bar was fresh! & the salad bar was very clean! Overall we had a great experience at hermitage steakhouse & we'll return on another date night...now that we know how to make reservations...(4 stars because of reservation hassle)

Used to be great, but we went there this September, and the quality of service as well as the food has really gone down.

Inside the views are still wonderful, every wall is glass out to the tarmac and downtown beyond. Lots of space between tables, and lots of different styles of seating. Outside is another variety of seating, more great views, and a chance to catch the breeze. Nice selection of local draft beer. Friendly bartenders happy to make whatever cocktail you'd like, and a list of specialties to choose from. They're a little limited in the liquor selection, but glad to run downstairs to the lobby bar, if they have something needed for your drink. Shared the pimento cheese appetizer. Really good pimento cheese, and the special crackers it was served with were excellent. Wife enjoyed a salad with shrimp. I did the fried shrimp hoagie. The shrimp were perfectly fried, the flavors spot on. Just have to ding them a little for the sandwich being completely structurally unsound. Most of the shrimp had already fallen out of the bread when it was served, and it was impossible to get the shrimp back on the sandwich long enough to get it to your mouth. Still enjoyed it, would just have preferred a true sandwich to something that required a fork and knife. Still highly recommend if you want a casual meal, a pleasant time, and a great view. We'll certainly be back.

Nothing bad, just older looking and kind of drab. We had beers for appetizers. My buddy had the seared Ahi Tuna dish. He complained it was overcooked. I agree it was cooked more than it should have been. Colorful though.... I had the Steak Frites. Man.... That was disappointing. I feel duped. Normally this dish is like a nice hangar steak with fresh cut fries and a fresh chimichuri sauce. What I got were overcooked steak nuggets, with cold, frozen out of a bag fries, and a glob of C sauce out of a bucket it seemed. I'll likely be drug back here by my friend. He likes it. Their specialty is craft beer and pizza, and they I typically go for both of those when here. On a recent visit for a quick dinner, I wanted something a bit lighter because I had to go play bowling after and tried a menu item that's always intrigued me: the blueberry chicken sandwich on their house made panuozzo bread. I expected this would be like a chicken salad but the waitress said it came hot and melty, and I was in the mood for a risk. And man did the risk pay off, this sandwich was one of my favorite things I've eaten all month! It comes hot and melty with a house made pesto, blueberry compote, fontina, and thin pieces of chicken, perfectly cooked. The panuozzo bread is almost as if you made naan out of pizza dough, and it keeps everything nicely contained without making the sandwich too bready. The flavors are unexpected but work so, SO well together - truly a work of genius. I paired it with their shake shake fries, which have an awesome seasoning (not spicy, just adds flavor) and a Diet Coke. Service was so kind and helpful, even on a busy Wednesday night. I was able to get in and out within 40 minutes, which was a win for the time crunch I was in but I still felt relaxed to eat my sandwich at my leisure. I love it the level of consistency in quality and service here after so many years - I truly always know I'm guaranteed to have a great meal in a relaxed atmosphere with helpful servers every time I come. Nice dedicated parking lot in back is just an added bonus to the overall experience here!
