Had I known this was going to be like another fast-burrito place, I may have kept walking. But for a quick lunch pick up, it was good. Way better than any wanna-be chipotle style restaurant. I got the habanero chicken-- it was amazing. The food is perfectly seasoned (not salty like chipotle or bland like hotheads), I do like this place better than Moe's, but Moe's is definitely a close second. This place is a blatant ripoff of chipotle. Right down to the order process. Unfortunately, it does not meet the strict standards of a franchise, and thus, I was quite disappointed in my burrito. The rice that claimed to have cilantro was overwhelmed by the generous acidic lime juice. The chicken was dry and bland, like it was boiled instead of grilled. The tortilla was under-done, ended up being a little wet and a chewy texture. I've been here twice. Once when it first opened and last week. This is the generic version of Chipotle. It's okay, not spectacular by any means. The location downtown helps add variety to lunch spots and the nachos/salad are quite tasty. Avoid arriving right at noon on Fridays or you will be in line for a bit! read more

It's a standard build your own burrito place with a few different choices versus the national chains. I'd say the food is pretty good but only the hot salsa has any flavor to it. Not a bad lunch spot if you're in Downtown. read more

After reading a glowing review of this brand newcomer to the downtown lunch scene in Columbus Alive, I immediately texted my room mate and told him that this was at the top of our list of things to do on our day off today. I forgot to take in to consideration that my bike was in the shop, which led to the unfortunate task of driving there. Being located at the corner of Everything & Everything Else (i.e. Broad and High, the two main thoroughfares of Columbus) made the search for a place to park on a weekday afternoon daunting task. Once we finally parked and made out way in to the restaurant, I was shocked at how understated the inside was. No signs, no posters, nothing. Just while walls and a Chipotle-style cafeteria counter containing the goods. It's easier to break it down one ingredient at a time, so here goes: -the rice was without a doubt the worst part of the burrito- starchy, clumpy, and ostensibly over-cooked to the point of being Risotto -the fajita vegetables (peppers and onions) were crispy, fresh, and available at no additional charge -the black beans were a spot-on replica of Chipotle's, while the pinto beans were a lot mushier and tasted like they came from a can (which is probably where they came from) -the steak was shredded, as opposed to diced, and was much more sinewy that what I'm used (Chipotle's barbacoa is what came to mind, minus the barbecue undertones) -the chicken had a great texture but was otherwise bland -the hot salsa was overbearing and far too spicy to be included in the same space as so many other distinct flavors -the tomato salsa was fresh, tangy, and full of chunky goodness -the avocado salsa (extra $, unfortunately) was clearly the saving grace of the whole thing- chunky, mellow, with a slight hint of lime. YUM! So there you have it. Cinco has little edge over Chipotle besides the free fajita veggies and the righteous avocado salsa, and the idea of eating here when you're not already in the area is ludicrous. If you work downtown and are in dire need of a new lunchtime distraction, however, you might become a big fan. read more

Cinco is the Chipotle (nearest location in german village) of downtown Columbus, OH. It's located right at High and Broad. They offer they same menu set up as Chipotle, only diffrence is they're open for breakfast. The food is ok and offers variety for lunch in this area. read more

I have only eaten here once for lunch but will probably not return. I had the chicken salad and the chicken was dry and the lettuce a bit brown. I could get over those two but the tomato "vinaigrette" was very oily and super sweet. I ate half since I was very hungry and threw the rest away. Very disappointing. read more

Cinco is my favorite go-to joint in Downtown Columbus. The food is always hot and tasty, the service is great, and the prices are good. My favorites are their spicy chorizo, and habenero pork served in a variety of bowls, burritos, salads, tacos or with chips. Is it perfect? Well, no. Bottom of my list is their buffalo chicken - thankfully they only offer it one day per week!! When the place is packed, the seating is a little awkward. Still 5-stars in my book. There's usually an upscale crowd from the surrounding banks and Capitol Square, and the music from the 80s is a nice touch! read more

Just ate a burrito here and they charged me $1.50 for regular lettuce instead of shredded lettuce (aka difference between a burrito "box" and salad). As usual the quality was terrible and slightly offended me considering how expensive it was. If you are looking for a homeless mans chipotle go here. I really like this place. Is everything perfect? No. But I give it five stars anyway because the same group of nice guys seems to have worked here for years, it's locally owned, Who's Johnny is on the sound system (80'and 90's fare is always playing - I'm transported to high school every time), and they have kale. I can eat healthy here and also be satisfied because it's tasty. I would like to see brown rice and maybe some fresh herbs as toppings. But it's pretty good as is. I get the Spanish rice because the plain white is a bit over seasoned for me with lime juice or something tart. With pinto and black beans, mushrooms, kale, hot or green salsa, lettuce, and guacamole, it's a very good lunch. For meat and cheese eaters, the offerings look great, too. First and foremost the service is always excellent. Even when there is a long line it keeps moving and the employees are always pleasant. My favorites are the buffalo chicken and habanero chicken in any form (burrito, burrito in a box, tacos etc.). The quesadillas are also fantastic! The standard menu is fine and always satisfying in terms of the amount of food. The chicken could use a little more flavor but a little hot sauce does the trick. Overall if you need a quick bite and are really hungry I would recommend a stop. read more

I work downtown,so I totally appreciate Cinco's! I eat as fresh and natural as I can, so those who compare this to their (they also own) Burger, Dogs and Fries...yuk! Bad (S.A.D.) palate!!!! (S.A.D. = Standard American Diet)...it apparent their body-system is suffering! I get the veggie salad EVERYtime and my splurge is the southwestern dressing...LOVE IT!!!! So, yes, I AM A FAN and I would suggest others trying it as well...not a Chipotle, but I'm not really a huge fan of Chipotle anyway! ;-) read more

We enjoy Cinco and eat there two to three times a month. They are very much like Chipotle, however, they are locally owned. The staff are always friendly and quick. The line gets long at noon but they are fast. I like that they offer specials every day. I recommend the Buffalo Chicken when it's available and the queso dip and salads are excellent. The quesadillas are also very good; it takes a little longer than a burrito but they are worth the wait. The prices are good and you can get in and out during a half hour lunch. I work at the HNB next door and I must say this place rocks, If your looking for a twist and a turn to Chipotle then Cinco's is for you. The owner Mat is a one of a kind guy who is very involved with his customers and works the line himself. His breakfast menu is better than any fast food chain you can name no joke. The beef is just like shredded steak and the sauces that you can put on offer a never ending surprise to what I will be blown away by next. Also as far back as 2008 from what I understand Mat has been running Cincos for maybe a year or so so give him a shot! read more

I eat lunch here at least once a week. Cinco is your traditional Mexican lunch except with more choices than Chipotle. Cinco offers additional toppings you don't find other places like kale, jalapeño chicken, and mushrooms. The breakfast burrito is also delicious. The service is personable and friendly and they have a generous loyalty program via app to score discounts. You get a lot of food for your money; its a great value and depending on how much you eat you can make two meals out of one. Cinco is my number 1 downtown lunch choice. read more

I was excited to try Cinco's in Dublin after hearing about it. The restaurant was clean and the employees were nice but the food is awful. I ordered a shredded beef burrito in a box and found it lacking in any flavor. The meat tasted like nothing and the tomato salsa was giant chunks of tomatoes without seasoning, The "cilantro lime" rice was plain white rice. I did not see any evidence of any cilantro and it tasted like the minute rice my grandma made. The chips are obviously store bought and poured into brown paper bags. The entire area where the food is prepped look sad and I should have followed my first instinct and left before ordering. I will not return. read more
