I went through the express car wash today get my car washed, bad idea!!!!!! When I came out of the express was one guy with 2 dirty towels started wiping one side of my car down and walked away. I pulled over to the side and asked him to finish drying off my car, and he got a bad attitude really quick. So I asked to speak to a manager and his attitude was worse. When I told him I wasn't coming back he said "Thank God"! This establishment is vial and they do piss poor work. There are water spots on my car and it is still dirty. read more

It's usually pretty difficult to have positive things to say about getting work done on your car. And even if you did have something nice to say, it's doubtful you would feel compelled to do so out of spite for a long history of overpayments and horrible service. Surprisingly, this isn't one of those reviews. In the several times I've visited CincoAuto2, I've been treated with unyielding courtesy, friendly and informative conversation, and what I have consistently felt was honest and straightforward information. They greeted me promptly as I pulled up, got right to work on my car, and I could see them actively working hard to do a full walk through to give updates and recommendations. When they've done all that, the mechanics come to get you and walk you back to your car to go over what they've found and inform you of your options. I've never felt that they were pushing me harder for the sake of the money, and I was able to either have them get right to work fixing something or get a quote and rundown of what I needed in order to mull it over. I've always been in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The waiting area is also infinitely nicer than any other shop that I've visited. It's clean and tidy, has a couple TV's for customers to watch sports or the news, and free wifi so you can spend your down time being productive or just watching Netflix if you wanted. The pricing for oil changes and inspections (the basic, routine stuff) is consistent with what you'll see at any other Houston area shop. You also get the oil change, once-over of the entire vehicle, and the vacuuming and wash before sent on your way. They always do a thorough job with the cleaning and I leave happy with my newly cleaned car. Truthfully, I wish that I never had to go back and see them again in a perfect world, but as long as oil needs changing and random issues come up, I'll make this my first stop. read more

Went in for an oil change and an inspection final charges were $52.50 for synthetic oil which kwik kar charged me for $25. Never got an inspection because two hours later the mechanic decides to tell me my check engine light is on and for some reason decided not to inform me so I couldn't ask them to go ahead and diagnose the vehicle. Receptionist asked if I wanted my tires checked for free and then later on my charges I get charged $30 for a tire rotation. Instead of complaining about the charges I will just never return which is prob worse for them anyways. I hope people read this and realize this place isn't worth your money or especially your time read more

I'm a painter and I usually check to make sure paint lids are secure but today I missed one. Beautiful silver paint all over the inside of my trunk and back bumper from when i opened the backgate. I did the best and quickest clean up I could then got my car to Cinco Auto 2 next to Second Baptist. They were amazing! Immediately took my car back and there is barely a spec of evidence now! And they wouldn't let me pay for it. They got a customer for life! read more

Hard to write a review on how they handle car detail when the last two weekends I've tried to get our car detailed and they haven't been able to do it either time. Paid $33 + $10 tip for a wash and vacuum. I don't think they vacuumed it, and they splashed Armor All over the interior. Streaks, drips...incredible. I complained to a young guy named Allister. This guy was an excellent customer service representative. Excellent. Promote this guy to GM, because if you don't, you'll lose all of your customers to the competition, like Hula, who is about a mile away. read more

I went in for a state inspection and whole process went smooth except check out. A guy (DIDN'T get the name but he was tall) at the check out counter left to do something without telling me and other customer what's going on and I had to wait about 5 minutes before someone other than him took care of check out.. I haven't been here, my husband has but I've called them and they were probably on the phone with me for about 40 minutes answering all sorts of dumb questions by me. Both times my husband went in to get a couple things checked out, they were beyond helpful and gave my husband the respect he deserves which convinced us to stick around and use them for all of our auto needs. Best part is they have a BMW tech and the computer to read your diagnostics. read more

I try to do car maintenance myself and I am knowledgeable of actual costs for filters, oil, etc. There is a reason why this place has NO pricing listed anywhere for their maintenance work (oil change, etc). This is purely done to rip people off. They don't review prior to doing work and their prices are minimum 50%+ higher than OTHER quick oil change places (hell they're $30 higher than dealership). BIG FYI if you use synthetic oil and drive a truck or SUV and you chose to go to this place, make sure you bring the Vaseline. read more

Underwhelming experience. I came in for an oil change and car wash, ended up paying more than I wanted and was very disappointed. What a waste of time?! An hour and a half for an oil change is ridiculous. After my oil was changed and car wash was complete, I noticed the kick plate under my car was dragging on the concrete. It was taken back to the bay and put back on. Definite lack of competency on behalf of the lube guys. After getting home I noticed oil puddle on my driveway. You could imagine my enthusiasm about going back to the establishment. The manager had it looked at and offered me a free carwash. I think a refund would have been more appropriate. My car was pulled around and I got out of there. Manager wasn't concerned, carried on eating his dinner. He never checked back to see if the problem was remedied. Stay away! read more

Even though I read the Yelp reviews, I still decided to go try out the car wash. Not surprised but it was horrible. Before I left my car, I even made it own that they had bad Yelp reviews and if my car was not done right I would most likely review bad. As other Yelp reviewers mentioned, the basic stuff was overlooked. They were not understaffed or anything so not sure how the work is not done right. The hood was not even cleaned! We've had our oil changes done here three times. They don't try to upsell you and often if you need fluid changes they will work with you on the price. We felt like the technicians and service manager were honest and knowledgeable. The manager even washed our car for no charge after doing lots of work on our other car. The exterior washing was very good. The interior cleaning is good not great; the interior still had spots, and the tech vacuumed up my earrings. The waiting area is very clean and nice. We will continue to go there. Don't forget to check their website for coupons. read more

This is a review for the car wash only. Regarding the car wash packages, the only one I would recommend is the $8 car / $10 SUV Express Wash. Anything else is just a waste of money. Yesterday my wife took our SUV in for the $50 wash. When I drove the SUV the following day I noticed they hadn't cleaned the inside of the windshield, this after she had specifically asked them to (it was difficult to see the smudges etc on the inside of the windshield with the light when she left so we didn't see it till the following morning). Also there were some splashes on the back seat upholstery. They hadn't cleaned that either. So I had to go and clean the interior of the car the day after we had spent $50 for them to do exactly that. On the exterior there were still dead bugs stuck on the windshield too. Slowest service ever. Pricey, oil change $33.30 after -$5 coupon. Simple oil change & free car wash took over 2 hrs on a Saturday. I'm here on a Monday morning & after 40 minutes the car just left the bay from the oil change. I'm still waiting to see it go through the car wash. It's been 50 minutes. I'd rather drive to my usual place, even though it's 20 min away. They get the oil change done in 10 min & maybe another 25 min for the car wash. I was so happy when this place first opened because it was close to the house. After a few times visiting I've gone back to places off of Mason. Would get Pkg #3 and was happy with the results. Soon though when I'd pull up they'd tell me whatever excuse (understaffed or didn't have time) they had for Pkg #3 wasn't available and Pkg #2 was just as good. After getting Pkg #2 a couple of times I stopped going because basically it left a lot lacking in what I wanted the end result to look like. Btw, learn to use compressed air and blow the water out of side mirror housing and trunk lining. I hate leaving a car wash place only to have water come flowing out creating water spots. This last time though was the straw and the only reason i went was because i needed an oil change. Once the car wash was completed (which i paid to upgrade btw) the attentent didn't wave to say the car was ready, i was sitting outside and they pass these cars off between so many people when drying them off I no clue it was done, he went inside with ticket walking right past me, goes inside calls out MBenz is ready (I assume because I can't hear him), walks back out and gets in MBenz and pulls it into a parking space for unclaimed cars. I get up and start walking to him. Get a few feet away and motion my hands out like um hey why didnt you tell me it was ready. He gives me a very poor look and ask for my paperwork checking it matches the suv before giving me the keys. Now surely this cat didn't think at my mid thirties could afford the suv I brought in that day. Thanks dude! read more

My wife went in because it was a convenient location for an oil change and car wash. $192 later she came home postponing the suggested fluid flushes and pushed into new air filters. Her vehicle is a 2013 4Runner and this is ridiculous. Quite plainly she was taken advantage of for service recommendations and costs and we will never return. Ladies especially beware of up selling and add-ons. The car wash is not worth the extra $100. read more

We have been bringing our cars to CincoAuto2 for years and have never ever been disappointed in efficiency or the quality of the service plus their prices are so reasonable for what they do. We usually get their awesome washes (makes our cars look so bright and new and smell great!) but we've also gotten their full detailing, oil changes and inspections with terrific results. Everyone who works here from the check-in guys to the person who rings you up to the guys who do the actual work are just terrific and so friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, their spacious waiting room has nice restrooms, speedy Wi-Fi and comfortable seating or (if you bring your dog like I often do) you can sit on one of the covered benches out front to wait for your sparkly car to be brought around. We've also left our cars there and picked them up later - they call when they are ready and park them adjacent to their building for pick-up. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Took my car there to get an oil change and an inspection. The price was pretty fair and i got to use a 5$ off coupon that I had. The oil change and inspection was completely pretty quickly, the waiting area was neat and the staff was accommodating. All in all, the initial experience went well. The following day, my car began to overheat while driving down the highway, so i pulled over. When i popped the hood, it was immediately clear that they had failed to put the radiator cap back on and my coolant had leaked out all over the engine. I had to call my father in law to come bring me (and my wife and 5 year old son) coolant at 9pm on the side of the highway in the middle of nowhere. I of course went to Cincoauto first thing the next morning to complain to the manager. Cincoauto could have very easily taken the approach that i cant prove that they left the cap off and they would have been right, even though we both knew it was true. Instead, the manager Cody accepted responsbility for the mistake (its OK, it happens to everyone) and said that he would do what he could to make it right. Cody personally apologized and took it upon himself to offer to flush my entire coolant system (120$ value), check the engine for damages from overheating, and give me a free oil change next time I come in. I of course wasnt happy with the cap being left off and the subsequent problems it caused, but I was extremely impressed with Cody and straightforwardness and willingness to do what it took to make it right. He single handedly earned my business again just because i was appreciative of the way he handled this matter. read more

Classist, rude, waste of time. I drove in on a weekday to have my car detailed. The manager over the vacuuming area said they were too busy (fair enough) but that I could come back the next day at 8 AM. He even offered to send me a reminder in text messaging if it would help. Next day, came back at 8 AM and I was told they didn't have the manpower and they couldn't take my vehicle. My husband was very upset and went in to talk to the manager. They said they knew nothing about a customer being turned away. The manager at the vacuuming station then offered to take my car. Not sure what changed in 5 minutes (other than it was a man asking) but they will never get a dime of my money. read more

On June 25 I'd driven to downtown Houston and received an alert on my car dash that my left tail light was out. The nearest Mercedes dealer was almost 20 miles away. I really didn't want to have drive that far for a busted tail light. My partner mentioned that Cinco Auto might have the bulb needed, so I took a chance and drive there instead. Incidentally, it's only five minutes away from my house. I pulled in and told the gentleman what my problem was and he said he thought they might have the bulb in stock. I waited about ten minutes tops and Austin came in and told me that they had already replaced it and that they didn't see the need to charge me at all. I was completely blown away cause you bet your bottom dollar Mercedes would have charged me and awful lot at that! Since so many people post when they have a negative experience, I think it's also important to post when we have consistently positive experiences! We take all 3 family vehicles to Cinco Auto II for everything from car washes and oil changes to routine maintenances and we have all been very happy with each visit. The front desk staff is always nice, the guys that greet you in the car wash area are always helpful (the last guy even pulled up my previous car wash when I couldn't remember what I had done the last time), and when I pull up to the garage, the guys there are also always friendly and offer sound advice. Although I have had to visit the Jeep dealership for occasional recalls and a one-time weird electrical issue (identified by Cinco Auto at no cost) (also recall related), I am very grateful to have Cinco Auto close by for our regular upkeep! read more

I had them do an auto inspection for me and it went ok, but just know I asked them to install brake pads on my truck and they refused to do it. The mechanic tried to tell me that they had to to resurface the rotors and drums even though he hasn't even looked at my vehicle yet. Seriously, terrible customer service.
