While the service staff was friendly and attentive, the overall dining experience was disappointing. Cinder Bar's "free-flowing" kitchen concept means food is brought out as soon as it's prepared, resulting in guests at the same table receiving their meals at completely different times. I understand that they are trying to get the food out while it's hot so it doesn't die in the window--it just seems more like they have a staff of inexperienced cooks that don't know how to time food tickets appropriately. This should be clearly explained when guests are seated, and servers should ask whether diners have been there before so expectations can be set appropriately. The Shrimp Tostada Salad presentation was also puzzling. The corn ribs may be a creative touch, but having to pick up a dressing-covered corn rib and eat it like corn on the cob in the middle of a salad feels impractical. Cutting the corn off the cob and incorporating it into the salad would make much more sense. I spoke with the manager about these concerns, but unfortunately she seemed dismissive of the feedback. The servers themselves were very pleasant, but the restaurant needs to take customer concerns more seriously, communicate its dining style upfront, and improve the timing and presentation of the food. Until those issues are addressed, I would not recommend Cinder Bar for a smooth or enjoyable dining experience.

We live in Marlton and had an appointment in Glassboro on a Monday night. The entire day we were trying to figure out where to eat after our appointment and were coming up empty. On the way to our appointment we passed Cinder Bar and decided that would be the spot to stop. Little did we know, it turned out to be a perfect place for a late night snack and a drink. We arrived a bit after 8pm. For a Monday night the bar was pretty busy. There were numerous TVs around the whole restaurant showing the World Series, Monday Night Football, the Flyers, and the Sixers. Couldn't have asked for a much better situation as a sports fan! The space inside the restaurant is great. The bar is huge, lots of tables, a big enclosed patio area with another bar, and a huge brick oven that instantly catches the eye (more on that later) that adds so much character to the restaurant. Our server Sydney was very good to us all night. She explained everything in the kitchen is made to order. She was knowledgeable about the menu. She was very professional. She checked in on us enough that we were never actually looking for her to put in an order or request but not enough to the point of being overbearing. The beer list looked great, but the Brown Butter Washed Bourbon Old Fashioned caught our eyes. In fact it was so good, my father-in-law and I decided we need to have a little DIY weekend and make it for ourselves. We decided to split a handful of appetizers and a pizza. The Vola wood fired pizza was delicious. The crust was light, airy, and crisp, and the brick oven added an incredible char and smokiness. The Cheesesteak Egg Rolls were simply the best I've ever had. The Bada Bang Shrimp were lightly battered, flash fried, and tossed in a deliciously addicting chili sauce. The Short Rib Poutine Fries were a hit as well. Melt in your mouth tender short ribs served over fries and topped with LOTS of cheese. The menu is so diverse, and we were all more than pleased with the selections we made. I had been to the Clarksboro Cinder Bar years ago and remember enjoying it, but we just don't make it out to the Williamstown area too often. When I heard Cinder Bar purchased the liquor license previously owned by Marlton Tavern I, along with countless others, were excited at the possibility of a Cinder Bar opening up in Marlton. I am still hopeful this will be the case eventually, but until then we'll have to make it a point to take the drive to visit this location again. A perfect spot for really any occasion.

Giving Cinder Bar another try since not being here for a while now, but may be our last time. Plenty of room inside but some of the chairs can be very uncomfortable. The high tops had extra cushions on their seats which seem much better. Order the ricotta whipped dip with crostinis and that was pretty good. Very light creamy ricotta and pretty to look at. The garlic parm wings were great but coming from a wood fired oven I'd expect them to have a char taste. My turkey blt was tasty and the cranberries were fresh with a strong nice tart taste. The bacon was very hard and came out of the sandwich whole on my 1st bite. Salad my fiancé ordered didn't have the dressing mixed in and needed to ask for a side of it. Waitress seemed annoyed for working that day which made that interaction bit awkward.

Randomly stumbled upon this place after a day of shopping at the outlets. Love the vibe of the place, bar is very nice with lots of tvs. Would love to come back at night to watch a game. Terrific beer menu, lots of options for all different palates. We ordered the steak frites and the peach bourbon salmon. Both were absolutely delicious! Honestly, they had a lot of great things on the menu so it was hard to choose, but we were happy with what we landed on. Service was great and our waitress was attentive. Would definitely come back!

First time here. I've always wanted to try this place but it always seems packed, which is a good thing. Of course, there was a wait since it was Father's Day. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was very friendly and engaging. Our food also came out very fast. We ordered a lot of food but the only items that stood out to me were the cheese steak egg rolls, potatoes (that comes with an entree) and the wings. The egg rolls had great flavor. The texture and taste of the potatoes were delicious and the wings were perfect! Unfortunately there were some not so good things: The breakfast pizza was too salty. The bacon was over cooked (too crispy). The lox was not good at all unfortunately. The deviled eggs were dry with very minimal flavor. I'll still go back to try other items on the menu and try another brick oven pizza and wings!

This is a nice place. They have outside setting. Looks great, but they said they didn't have a server for the 6 open tables. We got bang bang shrimp, and cheesesteak egg rolls, we split the rustic Caesar salad. The kid got the lemon pepper chicken sandwich. He said it was "pretty good", we all had a piece of the Philly Dilly pizza (surprisingly very good) and the Pizza Turnover. The Turnover was under cooked, but good. I will fix the unmelted cheese at home. Our server was super cool despite the hostess. All and all we would love to come back. Maybe they'll let us sit outside ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Friday, March 28, 2025: only my second time going to the Cinder Bar and had a great experience enjoying the service and food. I thought I was going "all in" with appetizers only but ended up getting a meal too. Imagine that! I tried to pick things I've never had before (or even heard of lol) and I was rewarded with a great dining experience. I took pictures of everything we ate! Amanda C was our server and she was great! Our drinks and orders were taken quickly and she was constantly coming around to refill our water glasses and see if we needed anything. In this industry, a smile and kind disposition go a long way! Overall, the food was good and reasonably priced; the service was exceptional. The place is open air seating with a huge bar right in the middle. There are plenty of TVs located throughout with mostly sports broadcasted. If you have never been - then you should go and check it out. Here are a few additional details I would like to make with the following disclaimer: none of these are intended to diminish the 5-star rating and are based solely on personal preference and/or opinion. On busy nights, there will be a wait time (it was Friday night and extremely busy). You can join a waitlist online, which is very cool and convenient. The music was very loud - a tad too loud for my liking. The wood fired calzone was slightly undercooked. The middle was barely warm to the touch and the dough was a little too doughy/chewy. It didn't matter: we tasted a little bit and took the rest home. It warmed up perfectly the next day in our air fryer. Again, none of these are deal-breakers. I definitely want to go back and try some of their signature cocktails and other menu options. I am recommending Cinder Bar as a great dining experience!

Found this place on our way home from an event ... we were greeted and seated within 2 minutes of arriving - the place was packed but our server was extremely attentive. She was friendly and offered suggestions on what to order. Food arrived hot and fresh. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. There is a good variety of choices ... we did get charged $1 for the honey mustard - not a big deal but kinda annoying.

My husband and I stopped by Cinder Bar after a midwife appointment in the area, and the reviews caught my attention--glad we checked it out! We ordered the lobster bisque, pierogis, sriracha deviled eggs, Winter Waldorf salad with salmon, and the whiskey burger with truffle fries. Everything was flavorful, but the bisque could've been hotter for my taste. The temperature I would give it a 4/5, but it was rich and tasty, just a bit on the salty side. The pierogis were a standout, perfectly crisp with great flavor with a side of sour cream, and the sriracha deviled eggs had the right balance of heat and creaminess. My salad was fresh, and the salmon was cooked beautifully. My husband enjoyed his whiskey burger, which was juicy and well-seasoned. The ambiance was a highlight--I loved the industrial-style lighting, especially the bulbs made from recycled whiskey and liquor bottles. Such a unique and cool touch! The hospitality was friendly, and the overall vibe was warm and inviting. Would definitely come back and try more dishes! Maybe next time, I'll ask if they can heat the bisque a bit more to my liking. Great spot for a cozy meal with a fun atmosphere!

First time trying this place with my husband. Food was pretty good. Not a typical menu for this type of atmosphere. Not sure if they were just trying to be weird and trendy but they had several odd things on the menu like pickled veggies. We played it safe and got pizza and chicken and waffles. read more

Went in on a cold night and for some reason was sat on the "closed patio" in the corner near the windows even though there was plenty of seating inside. Service was slow because we were literally the only ones inside the "closed patio" besides a very large loud party. The draft from on the "closed patio" made my date and everything around us VERY cold. So cold that when the food got delivered to the table it was ICE cold in literally 90 seconds. When I told the manager about she was stunned so without taking a single bite of my food I calmly asked them to take the food off the bill. She seemed annoyed by my complaints and request, so we left. Which leaves me with one question why seat a table for two out on the patio when there is plenty of seats inside? Needless to say, I will never be back to the Cinder Bar. read more

This is absolutely my favorite place to eat. Their menu is always changing with some new additions as the seasons change, which I love being able to try out their new food. Most of the menu items are meant to be shared, so they bring out each food item once it's ready so it's fresh (unless you request for meals to come out together). Some of my favorites are the bada bang shrimp, french onion grilled cheese, and the chorizo cheese dip. They also have a large drink menu and often do special cocktails each month. I have been here on many occasions and am constantly recommending it to others, so you better try it out too! read more

This was our first time at Cinder Bar and we were not disappointed. The perogies were amazing. The candied bacon was ok...I expected it to have more caramelized sugar, but the flavor was good. I loved the Cal-Italia pizza. The margherita pizza was also good- but it did need a little more garlic for my liking. My husband got the steak frittes which was cooked perfectly! The herb butter they put on the top of the steak made the dish! What really puts this place over the top are the beer and whiskey selections and the service! 4 stars for the food. 5 stars for the bar and service. We will for sure be back!! read more

This is my first meal in New Jersey. I must say it's fabulous! I had the shrimp tagliatelle, and the pierogies, I tried the edamame and the wings, and the pizza, all delicious. I opted for the no proof elixir, passion fruit crush, very refreshing. The atmosphere was perfect, good music, nice ambiance, very clean, service was wonderful & courteous and so timely. Have been going here off and on since it opened. The quality of the food and drinks has always been and remains high. We have especially enjoyed their specialty cocktails and wood fired pizzas. My criticisms are that the music levels are deafening even during lunch/brunch. With our party of four we were shouting at each other to make ourselves heard. I expect this din during sports events but not all the time. Service has always been good. The servers sometimes resorting to having patrons point out they want on the menu. I suggest the levels be brought down in some fashion. read more

If I opened my own casual get together locals hangout with just enough class to bring everyone in..It would be the Cinder Bar.... with a lot of Different tastes on their big mouth watering menu like the Crab Mac or Octopus salad or the philly dilly or one of my favorites shrimp scampi.And I'm sure in the near future more fun tongue loving food to be added....Who knows Mabye a tuna avocado roll wrapped in seaweed or salmon avocado cucumber covered in creamy kani or your way.. A southern bar favorite chicken liver cream cheese mixed creamy n chunky on cut up white bread or crackers.. Cinder Bar already has so many Different tastes for the pallette...forgot the Candied Bacon incredible....And I know these geniuses have more fun Different foods coming in the near future.. this great concept of a Foodie fun... and everything on the menu was prepared perfectly and a generous amount...... Give this place a try you won't regret it..Theres other locations.. I've only visited this one 3rd time all great..And a Great atmosphere...OK Why only 4 stars your thinking..Because it's only going to get better for me...and soon the 5th star I'm sure will be added to this Awesome Place...I usually leave 20% good food good service..I left 30% it was just that good and I'm hoping it never changes....I know nothing good last for ever...But I have a good feeling about this Fun food palace ..like to change their name to that!! We love Cinder Bar! Unique food, great drinks, fun experience. The staff are so personable and welcoming. We love being seated with Amanda and try to ask for her if she's working. Shes awesome! I highly recommend the Bada Bang Shrimp! If you're looking for a nice night out, definitely go here. read more

You're greeted at the host station with a smile there might be a wait, but you really don't mind.you are always asked where would you like to be seated The server arrives quick and friendly he or she takes the order.The wait for your food isn't long and they always check with you if everything is ok.They have a nice desserts selection and the coffee is ok,and the prices are resizable. read more

Good food, nice atmosphere, but unbeknownst to me after ordering two basic Makers Mark 3 oz. Manhattan got the check....$32.00 meaning $16.00 for each Manhattan. Should have asked before ordering but never thought it would be that much $....my fault. I have never paid $16.00 for a Manhattan even in Manhattan. Not a good way to rob your customers. A couple weeks later it still pissed me off and I could the manager, he sent me a $5.00 gift card....maybe for $5.00 they'll let me smell a Manhattan. read more

Cheesesteak egg rolls 8/10.. if they had a little more cheese it would be a instant 10/10 Peach glazed salmon with mango salsa and rice 10/10 ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!! The cocktails were great! Coco for Mango was an excellent choice. Bar staff could be a little all over the place when busy but were always apologetic for any delays. read more

We've gone here a few times and the food is always great. The salmon is delicious and the chicken & waffles doesn't disappoint. The variety of flavored wings leaves you wanting more. My husband likes the pizza as well. Our favorite dessert is the chocolate chip cookie skillet, which is topped with ice cream. Just heavenly! The other food is good here as well. The service and atmosphere are both good. We've gone in the evening where there was live music (an artist singing) one night, another night (no live music), and late day / early evening. read more

I really enjoy going to Cinder Bar, the food is always good and consistent, however I did not need all the attitude from our server April. She did seem a little overwhelmed and I understand, my daughter works in the restaurant industry so I am usually very patient and understanding. She just didn't seem very interested in working and it really showed. She made snarky little comments throughout our visit and I am definitely hoping we do not get her again next time we dine!! read more

First time I've visited Cinder Bar, great location. Great Customer service. The only thing I wasn't so pleased about, was that I ordered my appetizers and maybe like two mins after my main course came out. By the time I finished my appetizers my food was cold. I've ordered the soft crab sandwich, & I wasn't as satisfied. Maybe because it was cold but I felt like it needed some more seasoning something was definitely missing. Other then that the mussels & fried green beans were great including my fries and drinks were Looking forward to visit again, maybe I ll try something different. read more

Both times I've been it's a busy place. It's loud inside. There was a guitar player singing both times and we could not have a conversation. He was good just need to kick it down a notch. I had a sausage pizza with some yucky spicy sauce. It just wasn't for me. I tried it the 2 nd time and asked for pizza sauce instead. They were accommodating and quick with it. Came here on a Wednesday at 3 pm, it wasn't crowded, seated immediately. Waitress wasn't that great, not overly friendly and rushed us. The meals ordered were the grilled cheese and the vegan cheesesteak. I ordered the vegan cheesesteak on a bun with grilled peppers, it was delicious. The prices are a bit high for the amount of food you get. As for the ambiance, the sun was hitting in my eyes the entire time and to flag the waitress down after we paid was very difficult. Overall first experience here was pleasant but would make a few changes. read more

Since COVID I don't go out. That's hard for someone who dined out a few times each week. When outdoor dining was allowed I was hesitant. A friend and I were looking for a central spot to have lunch that we considered safe . Cinder Bar exceeded our expectations. You feel protected eating there. Both the staff and other patrons social distanced and wore masks when not eating. We saw tables sanitized as patrons left. The food was excellent. We had the grilled asparagus sandwich and subbed their amazing Brussels sprouts for fries at a small upcharge. Casey, our server, couldn't have been sweeter. It was hot and she saw that new glasses of tasty iced tea were brought before we even asked. I will definitely be returning! Had I realized that, I could've used a DoorDash coupon or ordered elsewhere. Instead, I spent $9.99 for a delivery fee, plus $2.99 service charge, tax, plus tip, and the order was essentially double the cost of takeout. It wasn't obvious that it was an outside partner until the tracking link was emailed. Plus the delivery driver made a stop along the way, so my food was lukewarm on arrival. Ugh. It also took an hour to be delivered compared to their website estimate of 25 minutes. Delivery aside, the food was pretty good. I really enjoyed my slice of cheese pizza - the sauce was perfect! The cheesesteak was also delightfully cheesy and cooked perfectly. I probably wouldn't order the tuna club again. I think I overcharged myself, as it didn't have a description so I couldn't figure out what came on it. As such, I added bacon and assumed it'd have cheese as the site referenced "substituting" cheese, so I didn't add that. Turns out - no cheese (so sad) and now bacon on two layers, so I assume they added extra. My mom had a cup of their chicken noodle soup, which she deemed "tasty." High praise from her. Since I overall enjoyed what I ordered, I'd likely go back sometime on a future visit. Though I do feel minorly ripped off by the online ordering experience so I'm more likely to try other local spots first.

So we just finished up Brunch at the New Cinder Bar located on Cross Keys road in Williamstown, Nj for their soft opening. Let's begin with the cocktails, simply Outstanding. We had the Banana Hammock, Suns Out Guns Out, Orangello Martini and Put A Lime in the Coconut. They are amazing and priced perfect. Now to food, we had Lobster Benedict, Short Rib Benedict, Texas Biscuits & Gravy, Bananas Foster French Toast & Chicken N Waffles. Both Benedict's were exceptional, the Fresh Made Hollandaise adds the perfect richness and brightness to the dish. The poached eggs were perfectly made. The short rib was tender, yet had some crunchy textures on its edges which made the dish even better. The Chicken N Waffles were good, chicken was tender and crunchy and the waffles were fluffy, yet had just enough sweetness to not over power. The only thing that would be added was a simple sprinke of finishing salt over top so when you take a bite you get the savory, sweet and salt all together. Texas Buscuits and Gravy were very rich and tasted great. The small offering is perfect for 2 people to share. The biscuit was decent, the gravy was very good, the roasted peppers used in the gravy gave it just enough heat. Lastly the Bananas Foster was decent. Definitely something to share but I think the single service is enough to share. The crunchy coating was good, the raisins incorporated into the Bananas Foster sauce really added the tangy Brightness to the dish. Now onto our Server Mke McCue, absolutely exceptional. Very attentive, knowledgeable about the menue and gave suggestions of his favs. We will definitely return for another amazing experience. read more

Our visit to this restaurant was deeply disappointing and troubling. My boyfriend and I came in for appetizers and drinks, but what should have been an enjoyable outing quickly turned sour. After we ordered wine, the waitress asked for our IDs, which is standard. However, when she looked at my boyfriend's ID, she immediately declared it "fake." My boyfriend is Colombian and speaks with an accent, and it was hard not to suspect that this judgment was influenced by bias. She took both of our licenses and left. After several minutes, it became clear something was amiss. When I went to check, I found a group of employees huddled together, seemingly scrutinizing our licenses. At no point did anyone attempt to clarify or resolve the situation with us. I asked for our IDs back, and we left without further interaction. This experience left us feeling humiliated and unwelcome. The lack of professionalism, coupled with what appeared to be discriminatory behavior, was shocking. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone who values respect and fairness. This kind of treatment is unacceptable anywhere, especially in the service industry. read more

We ordered many small plates to have a try at everything. To start was the quinoa and berries, which was perfectly sweetened and served warm. The cheesesteak egg rolls and empanadas were awesome! I was very excited to see this new establishment open up near me. And was excited to try it. I had heard rumors of being unprepared and not ready. I know restaurants go through growing pains when they first open up. And I am happy to say I was not disappointed. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. We went on a Thursday for lunch and was seated right away. Our server was friendly and courteous. She provided suggestions to the menu and gave us all the information we needed to make our choices. We were in with a group of friends Friday night, it was extremely busy so we ventured to the smaller bar outside. It was also very busy outside, but Sam the bartender knocked it out of the park. She was efficient, and always had a smile on her face. It was obvious she was very busy, but she attended to me and my group as well as the other people at the bar as well as being friendly and personal. We eventually got a table, food was very good, drinks took a little while once we were at the table, but we floated back to the bar outside afterwards. We are so excited to finally have an upscale bar/restaurant in our area. The patio/back bar area has such a cool set up and will definitely make for a fun night out. Stopped into Cinder Bar for brunch. The cocktail menu is extensive and one of the best in the area. There's something for everyone! The brunch menu has a wide variety of delicious items ranging from omelettes to skillets, waffles, French toast, Benedict's, crepes, parfaits and sandwiches. I had the huevos rancheros and it was one of the best I've had. I also tried the buttermilk waffles, so delectable! You've gotta try this place out. You won't be disappointed. Not my first time to Cinder Bar. But my first time to the new location in Cross Keys. I've never had a complaint about the food, drink, or service! Fun, "gastropub" atmosphere and signature cocktails and brick over pizzas that are amazing. I had my favorite, a toasted old fashioned bourbon cocktail and tried the empanadas for the first time! First time patron. I had the Wood Fired Brussel Sprouts, which were amazing. I nearly ate the whole plate on my own. Went to Cinder Bar on Saturday Night before the Flyers Game. The place was packed and on a 45 min wait but, we decided to hit the bar and found two spots. They had a great beer selection and the food came out fast and was very good. Only complaint would be a better number system for delivering food as the food runner offered our food to about 3 other guests before it came to us.
