The design is very industrial, you get a good feeling when you come in to this establishment. Their menu is not super big, which is nice, you don't have to page through to figure it out. The food is outstanding: Bada Bang Shrimp, cheesesteak egg rolls. Jersey long hots pizza, .Short rib cheesesteak sandwich, Fire roasted cobb salad. These were all made well, super tasty and presentation was immaculate. Their drinks are awesome. So many beers to choose from. I really enjoyed the Cinder Punch and the Toasted Old Fashioned had a very interesting taste (I think because of the cinnamon stick they place in in. The dessert shooters 3 flavors to choose from were delicious. You have to save a little room for one of these delicious treats. Our server was super pleasant and our total guest experience was a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu and drinks. I've been fortunate enough to eat/drink at the original Cinder Bar in Clarksboro a dozen+ times and have been patiently waiting for CB2 in Williamstown to open their doors. The new digs have a similar tone utilizing reclaimed local wood, high tops, and long family style tables for larger groups. CB2 also features a stellar menu of wood oven pizzas & artisan sandwiches, endless whiskeys and countless beers behind the HUGE bar. (my "Old Fashion" was perfect). From the recommendation of a delicious cocktail (Honeydew Darlin) to his addressing an issue my daughter had about her shrimp, John made our dining experience enjoyable. This place is absolutely outstanding. The first time I was here I ordered apps and drinks which made me eager to come back. This time, I decided to go for an entree and ordered the cedar plank salmon. It was amazing. The maple glaze was the perfect amount of sweet and stood out to me among other salmons I have received. I get it new place, popular at this time BUT their system for seating customers is very dysfunctional in my opinion. TOO much relying on someone walking around with an iPad to tell hostess when a table is ready. We were a party of two, several two-tops sat empty for way too long. When I questioned the hostess the answer "I need to get notified by manager when the table is ready". All you had to do was look and you could see the tables were ready. I'm guessing once the "newness" wears off it may be better. Ordered their Garlic Truffle Parmesan wings, they had a good taste but on the small side. My wife ordered perogies, they arrived at the end of our dinner but after I requested to just remove from tab they were comped. We both ordered the Steak Frittes, these were excellent. The staff was friendly and came around often to ask if we need anything. Now for the food I found it underwhelming. I got the wood fire wings with Carolina reaper sauce and they are super weak. I would give zero based on the lack of service I received today. I've been to this location numerous and have had minor concerns every time. Small enough to mention but not too big to deter a return. However that changed today. As usual I make reservations through Yelp for myself and my daughter. Arrive and the hostess barely acknowledged our presence. Again, no big deal. My daughter like the chicken tenders here so I tolerate it for her. We are seated and it takes about 10-15 mins until the waitress comes over. When she approaches, she spends about 2 minutes engaging in banter with the patrons at the table next to us who are leaving. After she was done playing with them, she barely says hi and immediately tells me that I could only order small plates and pizza. I ask is it possible to order chicken tenders from the kids menu as this is all we are here for. My daughter is 4. She says I am told that's the only order we can accept. I ask well can you at least check as opposed to just saying no. She took too long coming back so I left. As I was leaving, I explained to the hostess you should let patrons know up front that the menu is limited due to kitchen turning over from brunch to dinner. Another staff chimes in" well you can't order takeout during a certain time". Ma'am what? I was just seated. Never got to order anything not even a drink. She replies"I'm sorry" read more

We've been here for lunch or dinner several times and it has been delicious! The buffalo cauliflower dip is amazing!! On Father's Day we did the brunch, and were a little disappointed in the menu. Wife and I stopped by the restaurant/bar for a quick Sunday evening dinner. Was happy to see the Phillies vs. Mets were on their TV in the patio area as we had just left the stadium. Server was nice, but not attentive. Wife ordered a beet salad, which was delivered without dressing. I ordered the BBQ chicken entree, which was dry and actually not to my taste. When I asked the server about the dish she said about 1/2 her customers hated the dish. (well thanks for telling me, lol). Service was slow in general, reminded me of a college fraternity party as three male servers/bus help were having the grandest time in the dining room. The best part was three tables were watching the Phillies vs. Mets, and in the 9th inning with 2 outs, the management of the restaurant decided to put on PGA golf (most people go to a restaurant to watch PGA Golf). My husband and I have been regular customers since Cinder Bar opened their new location so of course when we heard outdoor dining was available we headed over. They have a great set up for outdoor seating. I have never been disappointed with the food and service here and last night we tried some of the newer seasonal menu items and we couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. Highly recommend the chile relleno and elote if you like Mexican flavors. Blood orange margaritas were on point as well. We were really impressed with how smoothly the kitchen and service was running with all the restrictions in place. I'm terrible with names but our waitress was super pleasant and attentive. They took reservations for Easter which we didn't know about, but after calling before coming in a manager suggested us taking our chances as a walkin. Went on a Saturday night and the place was bustling. Don't look for a romantic or quiet dinner at Cinder Bar. Being able to put yourself on the waitlist from home is a plus. Check the website. Had drinks and appetizers. Apps were good if a bit small. Empanadas app comes with 2. Order the cheese spread came with 4 or 5 pieces of crusty bread. Not enough for the amount of spread we had. Asked for more bread, charged $2.00. For 4 pieces of toasted bread? $2.00? Ok. Fine. Also had Short Rib Poutine which was very good. Service was good as well. Lots of waitresses running around. Also had some adult beverages. While I wouldn't recommend ordering them for your kids legally they could probably drink them as there appeared to be little to no alcohol in them. Had 3 "put the lime in the coconut" drinks which would have usually had me handing the keys over to my companion, but on this night I'm guessing my tolerance was high . Overall the place had potential as I did actually like the food and service but the extra charges and incredibly weak alcoholic beverages made me feel shortchanged. Not a lot of value for your money which ultimately will have me looking for another place on my night off. read more

SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. Cinder bar is my Favorite/ go to restaurant. so I thought this would be the perfect place to bring my mother in-law for her birthday. To my surprise my experience was the complete opposite. The Service provided by Todd W. was some of the worst service I've experienced anywhere! McDonald's could've did better than he did. We were seated in his section around 1:17pm and we weren't acknowledged for almost ten minutes (1:27pm). Granted they were busy he still made time for all of the other tables. Tables that were seated after us had their orders taken before us. We asked him for multiple things that he blatantly ignored such as utensils and water, so we had to ask other servers. He rarely checked on our table after receiving our food. It wasn't until we got tired of waiting that we had to flag him down for the check after he ran past our table several times without so much as asking if the order was right which it wasn't we were missing my mother-in-law's food which he would've known had he checked on our table. When the check finally did come her dish was still on the bill we asked him why are we being billed for something that we didn't eat. He gave a face and went to go take it off. He took his sweet time with that. Overall I would rate the experience One star but the food and drinks were good so I will give it two stars. I won't be coming back here anytime soon maybe I'll try again in a couple months. read more

The specialty cocktails use to be so much better. Not sure what ingredients they changed or if the bartender totally didn't know what she was doing. One cocktail calls for mango purée as listed on the menu and she said it's not mango purée, it's mango flavoring. My husbands mule was way too bitter. 1st time here. It's like the friendly neighborhood bar, upgraded. Our waitress, Samantha, was wonderful. Friendly, down to earth, professional. The staff seemed to work well together. Started with limoncello martinis. Very tasty drink, served with salted rim. Saffron muscles were delicious, light saffron broth with chorizo. Muscles were cooked well. The bread, pizza dough, that came with it was a little tough and too thin to absorb any broth. The short rib poutine was ok. Short rib around the edge was completely overcooked and dry but once you got under the fries the short rib was tender and juicy. Would have liked to see a little more. It was topped with a cheese sauce, not curd, that was pretty good. Did not come with what I consider shoestring fries as described, just regular thin cut, when not mushy from the gravy were crispy ouside and tender inside, but the gravy soaked ones were delicious. Wings were ok, a little dry. The sauces were good but kinda tame, sweet thai chili, Fresno Peach & Chili, I like more spice. One thing for sure, we will head back there again.
