MAMAS SHE IS WHAT YOUR POSTPARTUM SELF NEEDS!…read more Okay sorry for the shouty caps. I was lucky enough to get a session with Dr Shasta in a gala for microneedling. It was such a pleasant experience I signed up for a package. Over 6 months I get microneedling sessions alternating with acupuncture sections. Here's some highlgihts: - She goes above and beyond. You don't just get microneedling/acupuncture. You do red light, PMF mat, warmed bed, spa-like atmosphere. It is bliss. - She listens extremely well, providing customized and personal treatment - She explains the benefits of different approaches in an accessible way with print outs and suggestions - She provides samples, like aloe vera mask after the micro and apple stemcell to help amplify the impact - The results are incredible! And for microneedling the downtime is very minimal - Her personal approach, warm, and kindness - not to mention her clear expertise - are what everyone needs in a practitoner After pregnancy and postpartum our bodies are feeling so much stress and its ongoing. Which is why I would recommend every mom get a package with her. The outward results are noticeable to everyone (even my husband!) but also the inward results of being really taken care of and considered from the inside out helps me feel refreshed, grounded, and more present in motherhood. Can't wait to share my results.

I had read that not everyone gets relief from acupuncture, but it was worth a shot for me since it was my last resort, and I am so glad I did! Before acupuncture last spring, I was taking allergy pills twice a day, using a daily nasal spray and eye drops daily, just to get through the season. After just a couple of weeks of treatment, I was able to sit outside with pollen literally falling on me and have no symptoms! I was also able to reduce my medications down to one pill a day. That had never happened to me before. I'm now back again because my symptoms returned in the winter, and I feel confident knowing this is something that actually helps when nothing else has. If you're someone who's been told "this is just how it is" with allergies, I can't recommend acupuncture here enough. It's made a meaningful difference in my quality of life. Dr. Shasta has also tailored treatments if I'm feeling other issues, like last time helped me with my stomach pain. She is very thoughtful and caring and I am so glad I found her.

There was no one at the desk at first, but one of the acupuncturists soon came out and checked me in. She showed me where the restrooms were, asked me to take a seat and said my acupuncturist would soon be with me. My acupuncturist asked me some health questions in the private room where I was to have my treatment. She listened and didn't dismiss anything I said like my regular doctor often does. Then she explained where she would be inserting the needles and why. She also went into detail about what I could expect during the session, which I appreciated. Most of the needle insertions were painless, but a few hurt a bit. The pain went away quickly. The acupuncturist turned out the lights and left the room as I laid on my back on the table with the needles in me. I couldn't feel them as long as I didn't move. I'm not sure how long I laid there, but it was very warm and relaxing with gentle music playing. I almost fell asleep. I had a button I could press if I needed help and the acupuncturist checked on me a couple times. She removed the needles and then had me rollover on to my stomach for cupping on my upper back to help with pain relief in my neck and shoulders. After the session my migraine was gone and my neck and shoulder pain had decreased. I made several more appointments and look forward to them.

I just completed 1 cycle of egg freezing with Dr. Murugappan and had a great, smooth experience. I called their office and told them my interest of egg freezing and was scheduled the next week with Dr. Murugappan. The consult, and meeting the Doctor and staff is what made me commit to Spring Fertility. From the front desk to the nurses, everyone was welcoming and kind. My consult was great. Dr. M was just as excited as I was to start this adventure and I could tell whole heartedly, she loves what she does. We talked about my goals and obtained a baseline ultrasound. I left the initial consult with confidence I wanted Dr. M as my doctor. I have Kaiser insurance and of course they wouldn't cover any of this so I paid out of pocket. Me choosing Spring Fertility wasn't taken lightly. (Yay healthcare in USA) After the consult my labs were drawn and I was contacted by their finance division to go over payment methods. What helped me was the 0 interest monthly payments they have available. I'm a single female that's trying to be proactive about her fertility and health. Spring Fertility uses an app called Salve. That is where most of your communication happens with the staff. All your documents, information, how to's, medication videos info, everything you need. Every-time I had questions (which was frequent), I got a response within a hour. What other doctor office do you know that responds within a hour?! These reviews complain that their messages didn't get answered immediately! It's called triage and most urgent gets answered first. Lots of entitlement in these reviews. Back to Spring! Once my lab results were in, all medications were delivered to my house which I loved. I was able to look them all over and watch the how to videos on the Salve app. They also give you a zoom class on the meds as well. I was overwhelmed at first but the videos helped a lot and it was actually pretty easy once the nerves passed. If you're starting fertility treatment, you should be 100% all in, not traveling and complaining that you have to bring medications with you.....duh. Through all this I had constant communication with staff, nurses, medical assistants and Dr. M. I was in and out frequently for ultrasounds and felt 100% comfortable everytime. Closer to the trigger date, I had more blood work done to make sure my body was responding appropriately. You will get bloated from this process because your follicles and ovaries are becoming enlarged so get your stretchy pants ready. Like any medical practice, the doctors AREN'T supposed to be doing everything like some reviews complained...think of any management style, is the boss supposed to be the one running the front desk? Or answering all the calls? No...that's why we hire additional staff. The ignorance of some people on here. Wild. Back to business. So, trigger day comes. I take the medication and egg retrieval was scheduled. I was a little nervous for it but as soon as I got to pre op and saw how everyone was so caring and gentle, I completely felt at ease. You are completely asleep (not intubated) for this procedure so you don't feel ANYTHING. Procedure is about 15-20 minutes then you wake up in the recovery room. 10/10 for my anesthesiologist and Dr. M, you're amazing! Best nap of my life. I received more messages through the app about recovery and Dr. M called me later that day and told me how many eggs we were able to successfully freeze. Notice I said "we", because the whole time I felt like we were family on this adventure together. Recovery has some mild pain, expected and managed with Tylenol. I'm most excited to workout again and lose the fluid weight I gained through the hormones. Which is totally normal btw! I'll be back in the gym in no time. Through Spring Fertility, I was able to make sure my future is in my hands and if I want kids later on in life, it's MY decision. What an empowering feeling. Thank you Dr. Murugappan & staff for making a stressful & emotional few weeks 100000% worth it. See ya in the future!!

In 2022, we left the facility without being able to speak to each other. Apparently my wife felt so violated by the whole experience, poked and prodded like cattle, treated like nothing more than a uterus with legs, and with zero bedside manner and aftercare, but on top of that, she couldn't bear to disappoint me by telling me she never wanted to do that again. Naturally, my heart was broken for her and I was deeply disturbed by the fact that nothing more was done for her despite the many thousands of dollars these treatments cost. It was a humiliating experience. I was livid. Normally, this is just about as private a matter as it gets, but I realize I needed to post this as a review because it is just not how you treat people in their most vulnerable state. Then the doctor we had (Dr. Isiah Harris) left Spring and we heard zero follow-up from Spring from that point. Like we never existed. I gave two stars because I know this means you will read this rather than ignore. Unless this place has changed, couples: stay far away. I don't care if Sydel Curry went there.

The Clinical Experience: From the front desk to the embryology and surgical nursing teams, my experience was stellar. Dr. Purcell is a true expert who provides in-depth, thoughtful explanations. You can tell she has huge passion for and loves what she does. The clinical staff is phenomenal, kind, and highly responsive--you truly feel cared for as a human, not just a chart number. Room for Improvement: The experience would be seamless if the administrative side matched the clinical side. Two main areas stood out: 1) Proactive Education: I wish there had been more dialogue regarding treatment options (e.g., fully medicated vs. modified cycles) earlier in the process so I could better advocate for my preferences. 2) Financial Communication: The billing and insurance team often provided last-minute cost updates (sometimes the night before or morning of an appointment). I frequently had to act as a liaison between my insurance provider and the clinic to clear up confusion. Advice to Others: Be prepared to do your own insurance "homework" and proactively confirm coverage well in advance to avoid last-minute financial stress. I have shared this feedback with the office, and they have been receptive to improving.

Despite my history of no prior fertility issues, Dr. Purcell immediately recommended IVF rather than investigating why we were struggling to conceive naturally. Throughout the process, she remained overly positive, never indicating any potential hurdles. However, when the IVF failed, her only explanation was 'I don't know,' eventually defaulting to my age as a catch-all excuse. I have since become pregnant naturally without any medical intervention. This proves that a proper diagnostic approach--rather than a direct-to-IVF path--was what I actually needed. I feel there was a significant lack of clinical insight and a failure to personalize my care.
