Theater is better than ever!!!! Amazing refresh. Everything feels brand new but still has the same charm as it always did.

This place is a gem. The Cult Cafe screens cult films that you can't see elsewhere in theater. They also host a lot of indie content here, which is great to give them a presence. I've also really enjoyed going to Cult-a-rama, an alternative art, antiques and vinyl fest. The cafe inside has a pretty great selection of food and beers. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options as well.

One of my favorite places to see movies. If you can't bear the thought of losing a movie theater, you'll love this place.

We love having this theater walking distance from us, if need be. But we do drive because we are…read moretoo lazy... The parking lot for the theater is too small (literally! there is only about 20 spots for 8 movie theaters?) and, unless you come for an early discount matinee, you will need to park somewhere else on the street. I do suggest getting tickets in advance at fandango.com if you can to avoid the line at the theater. I do usually skip the popcorn/candy counter but my friend has to get popcorn. Pricey... as everything else. But popcorn flavor is good, specially when adding lots of liquefied butter and salt... the worst! But the best... he,he,he.... Anyway, some people say this place is clean? Hum... I don't know if it has been my 'bad luck' but every time I've come here, the area around the concessions counter, entrance and supplies counter (i.e. butter, napkins, salt, etc) is just dirty... not with a few popcorns on the floor, but lots and lots, meaning that the floor hasn't been cleaned since the place opened up that day! Smashed popcorn and trash all over... Another problem, most of the people working at the theater are teenagers. This means that this cinema has become the "hang-out" place for their friends and other kids who have nothing better to do (are there any after-school programs left out there? The YMCA is further down the street!) These teenagers are just getting in the way and just hanging out in the lobby and/or outside of the theater with bikes, skateboards and loud cellphones.... argh!!!! Don't get me wrong... It is great that some of the teenagers are working and earning their own money; learning responsibility... however, the employees/teenagers need to be better managed by adults and the theater supervisors to clean the place, keep the lobby area in an orderly way, do their job properly and fulfill their responsibilities. The movie theaters cleanliness is touch and go... most times, you will find old popcorn and soda cups on the floor. (of course, patrons have to be more responsible, take their own trash with them and dispose of it on the way out) but also the theaters need to be better taken care off. Floors are sticky and bathrooms are not cleaned as often as they should. However, the quality of the sound system and screen is good. The only movie theater in Huntington showing mainstream movies. The only reason why this place got a 3-starts. Oh... and before the movie/previews start, there is very annoying music that keeps playing over and over and over with the same slide show of commercials and 'trivia' questions... after 5 minutes of it, I feel like I will go insane! In summary, managers at Loews, have to do a better job at ensuring their young workers are doing their job properly, keeping the place clean, organized and free of their friends in the lobby being a nuisance and being loud.

This theatre used to be great back when I was in High School since it was so close, but aside from…read morethat this theatre really lacks everything. With horribly steep prices (3-D pricing for a 2-D film) and the slow time to add on upgrades (When Avatar came out they were the only theatre without 3-D equipment) I've come to avoid this theatre at all costs since there are much better ones around with lower prices for the same experience or if they're more expensive the cost is actually justified (better seating, etc.)

It is a good sized parking lot, but you may need to go a little further if there are a lot of cars. I purchased my tickets in advance through the Regal website and it was fairly easy to use. The IMAX theater, which is theater 2, is a great size, but the seats do not recline. The movie was amazing and the sound and picture quality was very good.

We have not been to this theater in years even though we see it each time we go to BJ's. Grateful it was open even after the major storm yesterday. Yes the theater was empty so that was nice for us. Hubby bought a bucket of popcorn because he loves movie theater popcorn. We usually "share" but it was way too salty for me. I know I have less tolerance for salt than most but I still thought it was too much salt, even for the average person. We had tickets to the IMAX 3D, we have not seen a 3D movie in a while and truth be told, the movie we saw wasn't elevated because of the 3D, I would not have been happy if I had paid for that upgrade. I guess that is more of a review on the movie than the theater. The one complaint I do have is that apparently the IMAX theaters do not have reclining seats. Instead, the seats rock back-and-forth unless you are in the last row of the bottom section which leans against the rail, then it doesn't move at all. The seats did look new, which was nice since we were used to going to the theaters at the Broadway mall before they shut down. I guess that's why they never invested in upkeep of the seats. All in all, I gave four stars because they were open on a day where everyone else had a snow day, the theater was clean, and the seats felt new. Hubby and I may have to start coming here now, especially since the theater at the Broadway mall is now closed. Just wish the popcorn was less salty...

No fancy bars but clean concession stand in the lobby area. I went for first showing of the day, but being Tuesday and during summer vacation, there were plenty of moviegoers. I didn't realize from the seating chart that the back row is against the wall and doesn't recline as much as the regular recliner seats. I also sat right under the projection booth, so the whirling can be distracting but I thought it was also pretty cool. But the seats are very comfortable. I'm not sure about if the film screen quality is really that much different for IMAX, but i did appreciate the sound quality and overall cleanliness of the space. Overall, I realize the tremendous privilege of living near a theater that even has the IMAX 70mm screen. The parking is ample, the staff are nice, and I will be back if I find another film I want to watch in this format.

There were 11 of us, which already made it feel like an event, full of energy, excitement, and a lot of curiosity about what a 4D movie would actually feel like. From the moment we walked in, there was a buzz in the air. None of us really knew what to expect beyond moving seats and special effects, so the anticipation kept building. Like any movie outing, we stopped for snacks, because you can't go to movies without snacks, but wow, they were definitely on the pricey side. Still, we went for it, thinking it would complete our experience. Once the movie started, everything changed. The seats began moving, jolting, and vibrating along with the action, and suddenly it felt like we were part of the movie rather than just watching it. Air bursts, water sprays, and all the unexpected effects made it so exciting, but also a little intense. That's when things got interesting for me and my daughter. About halfway through, we both started feeling a bit of motion sickness . It wasn't anything too bad, but definitely enough to make us sit back and try to steady ourselves while everyone else was still reacting to the action. It became one of those moments where you're half-laughing, but still enjoying the experience. Meanwhile, the whole group was dealing with an entirely different struggle with our snacks. With all the movement, holding onto popcorn and drinks turned into a challenge. Popcorn was flying everywhere, sodas were spilling, and every sudden motion made it worse. At one point, it felt like people were more focused on saving their snacks than watching the movie. The next roll over lost all their popcorn . Honestly, it was hilarious. Even while trying to manage the motion sickness, I couldn't help but laugh at the chaos around us. It quickly became clear: 4D movies and snacks do NOT mix. By the time we walked out, we were all still laughing and talking about everything that happened. It wasn't just the movie, it was the whole experience, from the motion effects to the unexpected moments and the shared laughs. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable outing. Next time, though, we'll definitely go in a little wiser, maybe skip the snacks... and I might think twice before sitting through all that motion again! Lol Absolutely not! I really enjoyed the experience and the movie was enjoyable.
