Went to go see the avenger movie and it was just horrible service. The girl in the front and the concession stand was rude like she was in a hurry snatching my money away and then once we finally went to go see the movie the people in back of us were loud and obnoxious and no one did anything about it even though we complained nothing was ever done to take care of the situation if this is how you treat your guess I will not be returning. read more

Love this movie theater. The reclining seats are awesome, usually pretty clean for a movie theater. Obviously the concession stand is where they get you, but that's true of all movie theaters. We bring blankets and make ourselves at home. I really like the reserved seating, it assures is we won't be at the front with cricks in our necks from watching the movie. I believe Tuesdays are discount days all day long, which is a nice money saver. read more

Crane Game Review: Aw, good old movie theaters; one of the few places left in America where you can still an old fashioned arcade. The arcade was decently stocked with a few arcade cabinets, two air hockey tables (side note, good thing my wife didn't notice these or an old rivalry might have been renewed), and three crane games. The crane games are typical arcade fair, as in they are not usually stand-alone machines like you would find in a grocery store. Two of the machines are side-by-side machines (technically one big machine) stocked with beanie baby size stuffed animals for fifty cents. The other machine is an old crane game (so old I have never seen the model before). While it is also fifty cents, the prizes are a little larger. The problem is that the crane itself is very loose making grasping prizes extremely difficult, though not impossible. All of the games have the prizes loosely packed, so the challenge is increased, but not impossible. Overall, the games are decent, but nothing to write home about. Crane Game Review: B- Theater Review: This Cinemark USA is slowly turning into an antique. While there is nothing wrong with it, you can tell it is starting to show its age. The theaters are clean and there was no problem finding a nice seat. The screens are a tad bit small compared to new theaters and the seats are becoming a little loose in their old age. Good experience. I went during a matinee show. The popcorn was good as popcorn can be. The theater was clean. I liked the reclining seats. The picture was great and the sound better. I would go back here again, and there are a few choices near me. Good location as well. What else can you say about a theater...I didn't go when it was crowded which would really be a true test. The only negative part about the experience is that the employees were messing around and talking amongst themselves while I was getting my food and barely acknowledged me, but I didn't care they got my stuff. I used my credit card to pay for a movie and popcorn and hours later my credit card was stolen and being used all over Houston.

Love the new seats but disappointed tonight when we had to stand in line with the cold wind only to get up to the window to only be told that our movie was sold out! With all the fancy technology these days, why can't sold out movies be displayed or color coded up on the digital board so our time isn't wasted? read more

Ever heard of air conditioning?!! It was in the 80s in there, I know because when we got outside the theatre it was 82 (car thermometer) and it felt cooler vs inside even though it was more humid out, wow! And this is not the first time here btw, that's why I wrote this. Worst of all my wife nearly went into labor & we had to leave early, it was so bad for her. Should've complained but this review should be more effective. I understand a/c goes out sometimes, but several times over past year? and we don't see movies that often so how many times does it really break? At least if it's too cold we can put on a jacket, when it's too hot you can't take off clothes. Also poor sound in standard theatres and very dirty, plus unfriendly staff. Honestly this stuff doesn't bother me much, but you people have my wife to satisfy so one star is worthy, let's hope she'll want to even come back here not last straw. read more

Nice theater, comfy seats. Of course the concessions are overpriced...wish they had popcorn seasonings like at Rave. Also, I don't like how you can't easily get to it from the I-10 feeder...that whole area is kinda weird about their entrances. But it's a good theater...standard Cinemark. read more

This place is not far from home and always really clean. The staff is very attentive and will to help no matter the questions or issue. The only downfall which is most theaters are the pricing of snacks and so on, outside if that it is a good experience. I would recommend this theater to anyone read more

Nice theater. Can hear the movie playing in the next room though. This is mainly because the movie i was seeing was pretty quiet.

My wife and I went to go see a movie. When we come out we find the back window busted out on our vehicle. We didn't have anything in there for them to steal. We call to file a police report. When the police show up we find out that the theater has no cameras for the parking lot, the security is for only inside, and this happens all the time. Before we left the count was up to 9 or 10 vehicles tonight and rising. They know there is an issue but choose not to try to slow it down. I know you will never stop it completely but to not doing anything to try us bad business. read more

My experience at this theatre was horrible, I encountered Daphne and she had the worst customer service ever. She was not helpful at all and has an attitude the whole time. I even saw her being rude to other employees in front of the customers. read more

Much better now that they have added the luxury reclining seats - just sit back and enjoy a very nice movie experience. Plenty of room and the food and drink prices are reasonable for a movie theater. I do wish thy offered more than the usual hotdogs, nachos, popcorn, candy.. perhaps a corndog or a chicken sandwich? this theater has plenty of parking, easy access and the concession lines are kept reasonable. they have a large snack bar which I have yet to sample but I can see they have ice cream and offer adult beverages. Also the cleanliness is very good (sorry about spilling the coke - my bad). a very good deal and the best movie experience in Katy for my money. Here now to see The Spy Who Dumped Me starring the brunette from that 70s Show and the blonde chick from Saturday Night Live Who was also in Ghostbusters. I wonder if she's capable of any different characters as she's still the same one even in this movie! At any rate, it's an exciting movie if you like car chases and gratuitous gun battles. Not bad. There is nothing special from other theaters except for the fact that their small ($4.25) is actually a small cup. This makes it not so worth it since most of it is ice but I do support an establishment that isn't adding to America's obesity by serving only 64 oz "smalls". Well done cinemark. Well done. I've always gone to Cinemark because it just down the street and convenient. I went yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see they have new seats! The most comfortable reclining chairs. Much more comfortable than any others and big. Now I can't wait to go back. read more

I took my 5 and 2 year old to see Peter Rabbit at a 2pm showing. I thought it was a kid's movie. I have gone to this theater with my 2 children several times, never an issue. A man who appeared to be on a date complained about my children. 2 employees came to observe us, they eventually said something. They offered to get my children something to help them quiet down. I explained to them that it was a kid's movie and that maybe the 2 adults should have come to a later viewing of the movie. I left because I was upset and embarrassed. I will not return to this theatre until my children are grown. Let's see if the movie theater still exists by then. read more

Every Tuesday so far this summer has been discount day! Only $5.50 per ticket. Can't beat that deal. The theater is very clean.

First, if you haven't been to this Cinemark in awhile, they have upgraded their theaters with nice leather reclining chairs! They are very comfortable and enhances the movie experience. Secondly, we went to see a movie today and my daughter started feeling bad when the movie started. So, my wife found the manager and he refunded our money without hesitation or question. The place was dirty, flies in concession area. Movie was fine, no issues with the movie but the inside was gross.

I love this theater. Me and my friends love coming here, there cumfy recliner chairs are the best. They also have an arcade, and cafeteria for food and a great selection of snacks at the stands. The price for tickets is not bad. Though the only downside is that this theater is very isolated from shop's and store's. There's no strip center's and store's near by just a few restaurants here and there and a big gigantic freeway. Overall very clean place and good theater to watch movies. read more

I hadn't been at this theatre in several years because I frankly didn't like it before. But I heard from a friend that they remodelled and made it much nicer. All I have to say is wow. I couldn't have imagined a better theatre. So much leg and elbow room. This now my favorite theatre. read more

Sure some movies can get packed or sold out quickly because seating is a little limited...especially when it's opening night/weekend of a movie, but fuck it; seats here are super comfy and make me feel at home. The seats literally sweep you off your feet. No more praying someone doesn't sit in front of you in the old stadium seats so you can spread your legs out. Horribly messy theater. Every time we go there the seats are a MESS with food in them. They obviously don't clean in between showings. Food in the hallways...disgusting. Customer service was terrible. Everyone looks miserable working there. Employees were seen just sitting around when obviously they could be cleaning the theaters instead. Have always had a great time there. The hubby and kids love the seating. We've been going form years now. Love it!

When we arrived, there were four employees (apparently including a manager, from his more formal dress) standing directly behind the young man taking tickets, munching on the pizza one was holding. When we took our seats in the theater, there was popcorn and trash on the floor. Instead of standing around in the public area eating, perhaps they could have swept the floor. Basic movie theater really. Prices are pretty normal and of course super high prices on anything other than tickets. Plus side is they serve alcohol now ($6.00 for a twisted tea (which i reccomend you dont try)) but other than that nothing special. Theater screens and seats are decent and so is the sound system. We came early to get the seats we wanted only to learn that they now have assigned seating. The only seats we could get for the next four showings was all the way up front where you can't see the whole screen. Looking up so close that you miss parts of the movie has ruined our experience. I am so disappointed especially since I called them yesterday asking a multitude of questions and they did not tell me that seats are now assigned. I will not come back here again. I'm not sure the manager even cared when I told him that he had lost my family's business. I wonder if he will even inform his district manager as I requested. How sad and disappointing read more

This theater is very nice. The staff keeps it clean, lines for food can get a little long on weekends. They should also have more service Windows open outside. But will not stop us from coming here. Oh yea, the chairs are amazing the recline and are leather. read more

It was our first time watching a movie for over 2 years because of the kids. Price was very reasonable ($7.50) because it was matinee. Seats were very comfortable and spacious. Food was good. Sound quality couldn't be better. Found or new hang out place away from the kids. read more

This is about the worst customer service I have ever received in any movie theatre anywhere. Last week we came on a Thursday for their dollar movie promo. When we arrived we were informed that they were sold out and that we could purchase the seats for next week ahead of time. I went ahead and purchased the tickets for what I thought was the Thursday show. I packed up my handicap mother in law and my kids and left. Here I am trying to go today only to find out that they sold me the wrong date and that all they can do is refund me the money and leave. The manager was very rude he told me that it wasn't his problem and that there was nothing that he could do. I explained to him how difficult it is for me to get my handicap mother in law out of the house and that this is two weeks in a row that we are trying to go to see a movie and both times we are unable to. Again he said there was nothing her could do and to just leave. That's terrible customer service. I go out of my way to go to this theatre two weeks in a row and that's the service I get. I will never come back to this location and I will ensure that I tell everyone I know to not come here ever again. read more

What happened to this place? Some of the improvements are great, however they ignored other details. First off the game room needs some upkeep. Second, the staff needs some customer service training. Third and most importantly, the sound in the theatre needs to be updated. This used to be a great place to watch a movie. Every theatre had surround sound. Without the right sound, it's hard to enjoy the movie. Briefly put, the lack of quality sound completely ruined our movie experience. It was terrible. Other movie goers around us commented on the poor sound quality so it wasn't just us. Thank you for ruining our movie. Will not be visiting this location again. read more
