This theater is conveniently located in our neighborhood, which is the main reason we continue to visit. It has multiple screens, and the screens themselves work well. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the theater leaves much to be desired. The seats are noticeably worn and in need of replacement. Cleanliness is also a recurring issue. After shows, the hallways often have trash scattered around, and during my most recent visit, there was leftover popcorn and trash on my seat when I arrived. The sound system is also below average compared to other theaters. Overall, the theater feels neglected and, at times, somewhat filthy, which takes away from what should be a relaxing and enjoyable movie-going experience. What makes this more disappointing is that ticket prices and concession prices are comparable to better-maintained theaters in the area, yet the quality of the experience is noticeably lower. We continue to visit primarily because of the convenience, but the theater would greatly benefit from improvements in cleanliness, seating, and overall upkeep. read more

After purchasing our tickets and entering the lobby, we were disappointed to find it in extremely poor condition--trash, popcorn, and straws scattered everywhere. An Amazing Movie Theater Experience! I recently booked a birthday event at this movie theater (Sonic the Hedgehog 3) and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, the process was smooth and hassle-free. The booking team (Brooklyn- event coordinator) was incredibly helpful making sure every detail was taken care of. She was prompt with all our communications and made my booking process seamless! After I made my booking deposit on site, she even gave me a tour of the auditorium where our chosen movie would be shown, as well as a small separate room equipped with tables, chairs, and a sink. The space was perfect for decorating and cutting the birthday cake, making it a convenient spot to sing happy birthday and playing trivia games after the kids enjoyed their movie! I was deciding between booking with XScape or Star Cinema Grill (Richmond). However, after multiple attempts to contact Star Cinema Grill, it took them weeks to respond, and their lack of organization and customer service was disappointing. Their auditorium booking required a higher deposit and came with a high food and beverage minimum. Additionally, they did not allow a cake for the event and did not offer a separate room for it. Hosting a birthday celebration without a cake simply wasn't an option for me. While cost wasn't my primary concern, their delayed responses and poor service ultimately led me to choose XScape and I couldn't be happier with my decision! The theater itself was clean, comfortable, and had top-notch sound and picture quality. They had oversized recliner chairs that were incredibly comfortable! We felt warm and cozy like watching a movie from the comfort of home, but with the added bonus of a big screen and immersive sound quality! A huge shout-out again to Brooklyn and Luis for their exceptional service! They were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our event special. Whether it was helping with seating, concessions, or last-minute requests, they took care of everything with a smile, never complained, and always showed genuine kindness. The sound system is messed up. For the Jurassic movie we had to go twice to guest services to adjust the volume as it was so low. Same with the Superman movie. The back speakers either do no work or are turned to low. I won't be wasting my money as they ruin the family movie experience. read more

Went over Thanksgiving break, so expected a crowd, but they were way understaffed and slow at the concession stand. After waiting forever for mediocre food and drinks (hard pretzel and bland popcorn) we headed into the theater. We bought tickets online and were told we had to print out tickets and not just show barcode on phone. We then had to wait in another line to print tickets, which put us late into our movie even though we arrived 30 minutes prior to showtime. Enjoyed the movie and actual theater. Ended our time with a trip to bathroom with stalls that did not have flushing toilets! This place used to be a hidden gem, but has gone way downhill!!! We will not be returning. read more

The crowds were not bad. The sound was messed up. The pre-movie Noovie segment began with no sound at all. There were no people around to report it. I called the phone number and finally talked to a person to let her know the sound was off. It started a few minutes later. Then when the movie started, the sound was out again. I again called the office and was told that the sound would start shortly. The movie played ten minutes before the sound came on and because of that, I missed a lot of dialogue making the story difficult to follow. read more

I don't get why so many people complain about ticket kiosks. They seem to be everywhere now and it makes selecting your movies and seats so much easier without having to deal with another person who may be rushing you or waiting for a register to open up. If kiosk ticketing isn't your thing, you can also purchase tickets at the concession stand and buy your food at the same time! Cutting down on extra personnel makes for a more affordable business, which is reflected in the ticket prices. There is a good selection of snacks here, but not restaurant style or super foods, so don't come expecting a full dinner menu, but it does have the basic snacks to make up a light meal or lunch. The food area and drink areas have always been super clean each time I've come here and the workers were super nice. I had a mishap where the cashier accidentally tripped over the cord for his computer/register, which disrupted my transactions right as I was paying. I ran my card again when he restarted the monitor and went about my business. The manager reminded me to check my account in case I got charged twice, though she did not think it would happen. I came back awhile later to let them know I did get accidentally double charged and, though the manager did not recall the incident, she was able to reimburse me in theater credit just by looking at the charge on my statement. (I could have received a full refund in my bank if I wanted to, but the process would have taken longer, so I chose the easier route.) They were super apologetic, but you can't really fault a guy for falling and a unplugging his computer all in one embarrassing moment. The seats and bathrooms we're clean, though there was popcorn on the floor in some areas of the theater, it did not seem like it was "messy." Maybe someone dropped the popcorn on the way into that movie. Recliner chairs throughout the place, great Xtreme sound, lots of room to walk around even with people reclined. I would definitely be back to avoid the massive crowds that linger for no reason. Lots of ticket and seat choices, even for must watch movies like Avengers: Endgame! read more

My husband had came in a maybe two nights ago to get us popcorn, the late night crew was sweet, and one of the workers had told my husband that we could come back and refill it bc of the size we got. I came in today around 2:30pm and the concession worker asked me if I had already came in today but at that time I couldn't really hear him ( the machines were loud) and just responded with yea as I thought he was asking about butter or something pertaining to my popcorn. The manager, just storms out from the side all aggressive and starts interrogating me about popcorn and I had already explained what another worker told my husband and her and the other manager Brooklyn had stank faces for no reason. If she would've just explained the same day policy with the popcorn politely, then I would've been understandable. The whole situation was just unnecessary and not good customer service skills AT ALL!! I could type more but it's just ridiculous! Employees and managers are unwelcoming. During the movie, one of our seats weren't working. I asked for a refund and the employee seemed very bothered. They did give a refund, but definitely could've been more polite about the situation. Ticket prices are also more expensive than other nearby theaters, the "xtreme" is not worth it. This movie theater is the best kept secret ever! It is less than $6 if you go before noon. The shows are rarely sold out. It is very clean inside. The staff at ticketing & in the food section are very polite. I have no complaints whatsoever. The chairs are also more comfortable than Cinemark 19 or Alamo Drafthouse. All in all I think this is a great family theater. Close to home, super clean. Prices are on par with everything else in the area. The only reason they get two stars is because the young man was helping the customers constantly and was very considerate. HOWEVER, the theatre parking lot is a pain to get to, you are required to print tickets to get to your theatre, our projector stopped working three times during our movie, and we had to relocate theaters, where part of the end of our movie was left out. I will thank the staff for giving us "free movie passes" to come back when we please. But this was not the easiest movie experience. read more

I was talking to a manager regarding booking a theater for our family Christmas gathering. When I tried to book the theater it took multiple emails for some to respond. When they finally did they said I would need to come in to pay a deposit...I live in Austin. After that no one would reply to my emails. Very comfortable seating but still working some things out. Being a new place done a little different you walk in and try to figure out how to get your tickets and where the line starts. It would have been helpful to have someone in the entry area letting you know how things worked. One nice thing is you can get your tickets at the concession stand as well as the kiosk. Also you still need to get tickets there if you ordered them online. Not a bad place just needs to be more user friendly getting into see your movie. read more

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place since it opened and it's right across the street from our house. If, like me, you've been spoiled by the "Dine in/Movie" experience, this is not it. We ordered burgers and fries and the clerk said they had White Castle cheeseburgers and I thought how bad could it be? Well.....In a nutshell, they don't really serve food, so don't go here expecting to eat. They should probably just take the frozen burgers and hot dogs off the menu and just stick with the popcorn and nachos. This is an old fashioned movie theater. You can see a movie, have some popcorn, the seats are really comfortable and the screens are nice. But I was expecting more and maybe that's my fault. We love this place definitely for the movie watching experience! We visit often and we usually have the place to ourselves and it's huge! Like imax theater huge! It is newer to the area so it has its growing pains like any new big business will but the staff is kind and the popcorn is always fresh! It is just a tiny bit pricier than your typical Cinemark/AMC but catch a matinee when you can and you won't be disappointed! We will be there tomorrow to catch a movie and love the oversized comfy seats, personal blanket from home, optional... be patient with the staff as they are usually new/young people working their first job and trying to please as many customers as they can! I live near this theater and want it to succeed, but they need to do better. I've been here several times and the kiosk to buy tickets has never worked for me. I typically buy tickets at the concession stand, but today the ticket stand at the entrance was open. Unfortunately, there was only 1 person selling tickets and it took 5 minutes to sell 2 tickets to the guy in front of me. Customers picking seats would be quicker if the screens to view open seats worked. I requested where we always sit, but was told they aren't available. No big deal, but those seats in the middle of the row were not used during the movie.. I think the thing that frustrates me the most is the rewards program. The employees don't seem to understand or remember to use my card when I buy tickets. I refuse to pay until they enter my info, which also takes time. It takes 10 separate visits to acquire any benefits and I was told we had enough credits to get a free small popcorn and drink. My daughter tried to get the popcorn from the concession and when she gave the woman our rewards card she wouldn't use it and instead charged for the popcorn. My daughter paid and then I went back to ask about our credits and if we really have enough for a free popcorn. The same woman would not look it up for me and would only say it was my 12 year old's fault for not talking. I get the misunderstanding, but a simple apology or even looking into our credits so we could redeem our free item(s) would have made a big difference instead of refusing to look up our info and confirm the credits. I feel she, the adult employee, could have done a better job of trying to communicate. She even told me, "I thought she wanted to use credits," which is what my daughter wanted to do, so I'm really confused. read more

So this isn't the biggest or fanciest of theaters but we have thoroughly enjoyed every movie seen here. The picture is great, surround sound is wonderful, and the reclining seats are nice! The movie prices are affordable and their rewards program is also pretty good. The only downfall would be the $6 fee to select tickets in advance online. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the Regal on grand parkway but our experience here has been much better. We first went to an Xscape with family in Conroe. We were so excited to see one on our side of town. Even though we are closer to Regal, we make the drive to Xscape. We love this theater! It's clean, has friendly staff, popcorn was just right, and the reclining chairs make your movie experience so comfortable. There isn't a bad seat in the theater.
