My wife and I came in to this location usually 1-2 times a week and spoke with the owner while she was preparing our cinnamon roll it was always absolutely delicious and one of our favorite desserts. A little over a month ago there was a change in ownership and the new staff is absolutely killing this place. It used to run with just the husband/wife team and there was no issue. Now there are 4-5 kids/young adults and the quality has went down hill. The first time I came in to pick up two cinnamon rolls, I had to wait almost 45 minutes because they were super busy and when I got home with the desserts, they were completely raw inside. I thought it was because it was so busy but when I wait 45 minutes, it shouldn't be like that. We went back again last week and didn't have to wait but the frosting was so thick, it was all you could taste, and once again completely raw inside the middle. Hopefully management will start working with the staff and provide training, but this place has gotten really bad. read more

Late night snack Tonight, I decided to get the Dole Float with Pineapple for the first time. Not sure if it's worth the $10. The straw was too small. Definitely needs more of a jumbo straw to enjoy it. It was refreshing but I probably wouldn't get it again. I think it needed more pineapple juice. They had a special going on where you could buy any roll and get an Old Skool roll for free. No issues with my Old Skool roll, that one was warm with a good amount of icing. The young lady running the store today was extremely sweet and patient while we made our selections. She was descriptive and helpful. The shop us clean and has a homey feel. It's small but modern and very well kept. Now, to the rolls! HOLY H*LL...these rolls are worth every ounce of calories. I had rhe caramel apple which has pecans fresh chopped apples homemade cream cheese caramel sauce on a buttery soft roll. I went to pick up a gift for a vegan friend and found the entire experience to be really good. I love cinnaholic cinnamon rolls and the flavors for icing are so good. I was able to sample flavors before choosing. The employees made suggestions and were patient with me while I worked to figure out what I wanted to get and the best value for my money. I was greeted as i entered and thanked as i left. I got the strawberry fluff roll which was an immediate 10/10! The brown sugar like crumble on top really made the roll. I'm not a big fan of sweets, but when i find vegan sweet shops i like to try them. To my surprise the roll was not as sweet as i remember it being the first time i tried cinnaholic, which is a plus! It was just right and I loved it. The staff were helpful and explained their extensive menu. The cinnadoodle cookie was flavorful and satisfied my sweet tooth. The brownie reminded me of the Duncan Hines brownie box from the store. I had the opportunity to attend Cinnaholic Arlington's VIP Opening yesterday. They are officially open as of 11am today!! I've visited a couple other DFW locations (Addison, Richardson..) so I was familiar with their products and the taste. Although I don't live in the area anymore, I'm happy south Arlington now has a store. It's located right next door to Nothing Bundt Cakes and not far from the Dunkin Donuts further down the road, so Cooper Street has a little sweet tooth alley happening. I'm not a vegan, but I eat like one at times, and despite my dairy ways, I appreciate the taste and consistency of these cinnamon rolls! Knowing it's 100% vegan makes it that much more enjoyable. The rolls are large. The location is great; super accessible. You can order ahead online or do a walk-in. We got samples of the cookie dough, brownies, cookies & banana nut bread. All tasty goods! For my own creation I chose the cream cheese icing with pie crumbles and strawberries as my toppings. Deelish. They have plenty of classic flavors to choose from or you can do like I did and can create your own custom roll by selecting from a list of icings and toppings. I initially wanted to build my own roll but decided with so many options to just select a signature roll for my first visit. When I tell you guys that the spread toppings were so good , there's no exaggeration. I would have been just fine eating just the spread toppings.
