    Monkey pancakes

I recently came here with my 4 year old son and we were seated in a 2 person booth. He loved the seating and the overall atmosphere. He ordered the grilled cheese with fries, and I ordered the monkey pancakes - we both finished our entire meals! The food was super hot and clearly fresh. The staff was friendly, and payment could be made with cash (discount!) or card at the front. 2 small hiccups with our trip; Initial service was a bit slow & the paper placemats at our table were dirty with coffee stains.

Very nice, albeit small local diner on the border of Haddonfield and Westmont. We live a half mile away and this is our go-to place when we don't feel like cooking. It's a no frills place with basic diner food options like sandwiches, soups, eggs, pancakes, etc, but all of it is hearty and well made. Parking can be challenging at peak times like weekend mornings because the lot is small, but there is also street parking available. Everyone who works there is friendly and professional. They also offer a slight discount if you pay with cash.

The breakfast here is great. Went simple with eggs, crispy scrapple, home fries and wheat toast. The scrapple was like a brick, just the way I like it. Breakfast potatoes were excellent. Service was friendly. Also loved the old school diner ambiance. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

I drive by this diner twice a day going to a from work and had never stopped in for lunch. A coworker recommended we stop in one day last week. It was great! With some of their sandwiches they offer a free soup, which I personally love! I had a tuna melt and my friend had a grilled cheese . We were both happy with our choices and they came with fries. I'll be back!

Haddon Diner took over Westmont Diner's space across from the PATCO in Westmont. It's small but they've packed tables and booths in to maximize space. I ordered a tuna salad club sandwich, which marked the first time I ordered tuna since my childhood. I had been previously convinced I didn't like it, but it turns out I do. Their cole slaw (available upon request) was delightful, and I enjoyed their fries as well. I liked that a salad came with it, and I enjoyed the thousand island dressing on mine.

The ambiance, food and service was perfect . We enjoyed everything very much . The burger was made medium rare , loaded with all thr additions . The teas were amazingly refreshing.

The perfect diner experience. Staff was so nice; the pastrami melt was exactly what i needed and the pancakes were perfect

Apologies to the other diners whose orders got held up by our large table. We had RSVP'd weeks before and were happy they could accommodate us. It's a small, newly renovated diner and it was already full when we were seated right on time. I agree the parking lot is very small and it probably didn't help with our large table was coming in from multiple towns. But our food was pretty darn good for the price point. I think everyone was very happy with the French toast, omelettes and egg combos ordered. I did ask for my home fries well done and my friend ordered her Turkey bacon extra crispy, another person asked for eggs over medium and we got our orders done correctly. All in all, we were happy with our meals and by 11 the tables opened up quite a bit.

I already thought I had a local diner selected until Haddon Diner came to town. While they don't offer delivery directly, they are now on most apps. The Matzah Ball soup alone will keep me "coming back." I'm a fan of their make-your-own omelette offering as well; available all-day, of course. I haven't had their salads yet, but they do have a Cobb Salad on their menu. For some reason it's easier finding a unicorn than a Cobb Salad these days. Prices are also more competitive than other local establishments. I wasn't looking for another diner in my rotation, but I'm glad to have Haddon Diner as an option.

When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!

The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. What are you going to do. Everyone agreed we would not be back here, but for me, with the parking lot and satisfied kids, I wasn't too sad about the meal.

When we arrived, the restaurant was busy, and we waited about 15-20 minutes after adding our names to the waitlist. Since it was a beautiful day, there was the option to dine indoors or outside. We chose to sit inside. My first impression was that the restaurant was lively and bustling, which made it feel like a popular neighborhood favorite. It also appeared to be both family-friendly and pet-friendly, which was a nice touch. For my meal, I ordered the Omelette & Potatoes with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and onions, along with a side of bacon. The omelet itself was good, but the bacon was a major disappointment. It was extremely overcooked--so crispy that it resembled bacon chips rather than strips of bacon. My daughter ordered the Egg White Wrap with turkey sausage, spinach, and feta, along with a side of fresh fruit. She enjoyed it well enough but felt it was just okay. Overall, we both agreed that the food was pretty basic. It wasn't bad and it was nothing to write home about. While the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was attentive and the service was pleasant, the food didn't quite live up to the reviews I had read. Unfortunately, I don't think it's a place I'd be in a hurry to revisit.

This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.
